Sarah Jessica Parker will be taking over the role of Gloria Steinem in the new movie “Lovelace.” Demi Moore was scheduled to play the feminist icon but the “GI Jane” star has dropped out of the film this week after entering into rehab.

Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, who will be directing the movie, confirmed the casting switch to Entertainment Weekly.

Moore was rushed to the hospital earlier this week after she started convulsing after smoking an unknown substance. (You can listen to the 911 call here.) Moore checked into rehab for “exhaustion” and announced that she was giving up her role in “Lovelace.”

Her publicist said:

“Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”

According to EW, production on “Lovelace” has already started but Moore hasn’t filmed any scenes. Epstein and Friedman won’t have to re-shoot anything for the movie but they were rushed into a casting decision. Parker is expected to start shooting on Monday.

46-year-old Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker- who is a mom to three children- says she and husband Matthew Broderick have not ruled out the possibility of having more kids.

Parker’s new movie I Don’t Know How She Does It-out on September 16th- deals with the harried life of a working mother. But Parker doesn’t seem to be too stressed out by the trials of balancing career and fmaily life. The actress, known for her portrayal as New York City perpetual-singleton Carrie Bradshaw seems to have a totally different focus than that of her childfree counterpart, speaking in glowing terms about her own experiences with motherhood.

In a new interview, Parker says that she and Broderick have yet to broach the subject of more kids, but that she feels blessed to have the three she has:

“We haven’t really discussed it… It’s not that I wouldn’t consider it – it just hasn’t been a part of a conversation in my house lately… It’s wonderful to have the three we have. We feel very lucky. I don’t know if it would be greedy to ask for more.”

The actress adds that her man is also out of commission for the moment after back surgery, leaving her to do all the heavy lifting- literally:

“He’s up and about now but can’t lift anything – allegedly. I’m just joking… I heard it from the surgeon’s mouth. He said Matthew can’t lift anything over 3lbs and I’m happy to report that all our children are over that.”

It was recently revealed that a Sex and the City prequel was in the works, one that will cover Bradshaw’s life before she was a glamorous writer in the Big Apple. No details about the project have yet been disclosed.

The fake celebrity death circuit took a break over the Northern winter, but now as things warm up so do fake deaths, and today’s fake is “Sarah Jessica Parker is dead.”

The Sarah Jessica Parker is dead rumor surfaced yesterday (April 1) and claims that she “fell to her death” in the early hours of Wednesday.

Because these rumors rarely make sense, she apparently fell to her death in a car accident (cliff maybe??) and husband Matthew Broderick, and their seven year old son, James Wilke Broderick were also in the car. Sarah Jessica Parker and James Wilke Broderick are alleged to have died on the spot, with Matthew Broderick was taken to the Cedars Sinai Hospital in a critical state.

We’re only giving this a two out of ten on the fake celebrity death scale. Just for the record, Sarah Jessica Parker is not dead, Sarah Jessica Parker has not died, nothing more to say here.

When Conan O’Brien tweeted last week that Sarah Killen’s life was “about to change,” despite all the Team Coco fervor, I was a bit skeptical.

But change it certainly did. To catch you up, Conan got into a bit of a real life flame war with NBC over their Indian giving of his lifelong dream gig as host of “The Tonight Show.” Coco quit with full support of the internet, and Jay Leno looked kind of like an overflowing bag of douche forever more. (Especially given that Leno is about as funny as testicular cancer. Which is to say, not at all funny.) Conan, a New Yorker lost in the wilds of Los Angeles (a fate worse than death for real New Yorkers), has picked up a Twitter account since and a sizeable following, documenting his experience since joining the ranks of the unemployed.

On the 5th, Coco tweeted:

I’ve decided to follow someone at random. She likes peanut butter and gummy dinosaurs. Sarah Killen, your life is about to change.

He followed up with:

Sarah likes Twizzlers and craves cantaloupe. I like Raisinets, but melon feels creepy in my mouth. Twitter pals 4 eva!

How has this affected your life?
It has really helped out. I haven’t had anything negative happen so far. I’m getting married on September 25, and we didn’t know if we would be able to afford it. We’re getting a limo, Classic Creations is giving us wedding bands and there’s a vineyard in California sending us wine. We’ve got it all covered now…

Is Conan invited to your wedding?
Absolutely. My fiance wants Conan to be his best man. That would be really cool. And hey, if he wants us to come on his show, we’d get married on there. That would be fantastic.

On The View Tuesday morning, Barbara Walters announced that Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, Matthew Broderick, are the proud parents of twin girls.

The surrogate mother the couple chose to have the babies gave birth to twin girls earlier Tuesday at the East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Broderick and Parker were at the hospital for the birth which went without complications.

The couple announced in April that they were expecting twins.

The surrogate mother has recently been the focus of several paparazzi and tabloids and has suffered harassment on several occasions, with the most recent being a plot by two local police officers to get pictures of the inside of the woman’s house.

Apparently, in an effort to get exclusive information and photos of her, the paparazzi have went so far as to chase one of the surrogate mother’s friends at high speed down a highway and the friend is 9 months pregnant!

Sarah Jessica Parker had this to say in an interview with Access Hollywood recently:

“It’s an extraordinary and unprecedented invasion of her privacy. The most unsavoury things have been done. She’s had her phone hacked, her personal computer information hacked, she’s had threats against her and true harassment. She’s had friends threatened and family threatened and she’s had family of friends threatened.

It’s crossed lines. Pretty much all the lines have been crossed. There’s simply no excuse for doing this to somebody. It’s not acceptable.”

After reading that, I can only imagine how stressful it must be to be in that situation while in the late stages of pregnancy.

Well, that’s what Star is leading me to believe, since they published their sensational account of Matthew’s tryst’s with a “stunning redhead,” according to a “source.”

As if Sarah Jessica Parker could make a real difference on her general visage with the removal of her chin mole! I thought she was unapologetically odd-yet-hot (even though that’s not what Maxim said) and now she’s blowing it for anyone who’s trying to make it without a little boost. It would have been better if a source hadn’t blown the mystery by confirming that “Yes, she’s had it removed” and that “There was no reason for it. It wasn’t because she didn’t like her mole, and it wasn’t because of any medical reason. It was simply because she was in the mood to have it removed. That’s all” to USmagazine.com.

Despite the tell-tale dot left on her chin after New York’s 79th MLB All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium (see above), the bulk of the mole– that had been considered to be the mark of “wonderful Halloween witch” by critic Rex Reed– was gone. After all this time, why now?

Sarah Jessica Parker has been talking. . . and talking. . . and talking about SATC, which is premiering tomorrow. For everyone who will be dragged to theatres at the end of the month by their significant other, gaggle of gal pals or flamboyantly single best friend, take heart.

Sarah Jessica Parker recently opened up in an interview in Parade, saying that Sex and the City might not be the fluff parade we’re all expecting:

Carrie and Charlotte and Miranda and Samantha aren’t young anymore. Their lives are much less frivolous. They can’t cope with their problems by putting on their sweats and staying up all night and ordering in food and gossiping about the men in their lives. There is less self-absorption but perhaps a little more self-awareness.

OKay, she did say a “little.” But there’s still hope! I’m personally thinking about boycotting the whole thing just because they are so cheating on New York. The grand premiere is in London. Sarah Jessica’s only steady flame, The City, has been jilted, and I’m not so sure I can forgive that.
