The Obama campaign advertisement released today does not include Hollywood types praising the president but does once again utilize the “got your back” slogan which premiered in the earlier commercials featuring celebrities. The Obama campaign slogan, “Forward” was lambasted by some media outlets due to a link to age-old socialist leaning organizations and politicians, according to information republished on The Blaze.

Whether the backlash over the term “Forward” caused the slogan to be ditched in favor of the “got your back” phrase sometimes uttered amongst friends remains to be seen. Barry White- style music plays in the background as quotes from President Obama are prominently featured throughout the new campaign ad. The reoccurring notion of “letting the president know we have his back” mimics the theme of the earlier celebrity-infused commercials but skips the notable faces this time around. The American voter is likely far more concerned with what the president can do to return the nation to a state of prosperity than what citizens can do to soothe his bruised ego after a rough week in the press.

Claims that the president was out-of-touch with not only middle class America but with the level of importance placed upon the struggling economy by voters may have led to a less star-studded campaign ad. Quotes by President Obama hit all of the liberal talking points throughout the new re-election commercial. Fear tactics appear to take center stage and caution voters that without a second term for Barack Obama the Head Start program may fold and millions of Americans will be forced to survive without healthcare.

Whether or not the new Obama campaign ad was designed specifically to appeal to African-American voters as some conservative pundits have mused, according to The Blaze; unemployment and the future of the economy are issues which extend beyond race, class and party affiliation.

It was visibly difficult for Coulter to retain her composure when debunking the misguided liberal ideas voiced by fellow panelists Van Jones and Ed Rendell; but the seasoned political commentator managed to make her valid points without sinking into attack mode. At the end of a very rough week for President Obama, it was likely disheartening for his campaign staff to see his supporters debunked so succinctly during the weekend news show.

Tired political rhetoric by progressive Democrats will not thwart either Coulter or the American public from talking about the continued sluggish state of the economy. Although the primary focus of the panel discussion centered around Obama’s press conference last week, his overall performance was summarily picked apart by the end of the heated debate. Taxpayers were likely left scratching their heads after hearing President Obama tout the importance of a jobs bills which would add to the nation’s debt and called for more public sector job growth.

Although Jones attempted to make conservatives appear to be evil monsters for questioning the salary, benefits and performance of public employees, the recent Wisconsin recall race clearly points to a shift in thinking on collective bargaining perks. President Obama’s campaign staff proved once again how out-of-touch the White House is with common citizens by ignoring the strong message sent when Wisconsin voters chose to keep Scott Walker in office. As Coulter so colorfully pointed out during the panel discussion, American voters are demanding a fiscally responsible approach to managing the public sector. Pressure from Obama’s staunch public employees union supporters to push for more government sector spending may cost him a second term in the Oval Office.

The president’s “private sector is doing fine” remark prompted senior campaign adviser David Axelrod to embark on a news media interview tour to clarify what the president actually meant, according to the Associated Press. Republican opponent Mitt Romney wasted no time in generating a response to what some may consider a costly political gaffe by President Obama.

A new web campaign ad addressing the struggles of Americans working in the private sector paints a drastically different image than the one noted by the president last week. The poignant Romney campaign ad features unemployed and underemployed American workers sharing their individual struggles while trying to earn a paycheck in private sector careers.

As noted during a CBS News interview with Axelrod, the president backtracked his private sector economic stance at least a little bit and stated that he understands that the economy still needs “help.” The type of help Americans feel will curb the economic downfall will likely be the deciding factor in the November election. Scott Walker’s win in the Wisconsin recall election may influence how both candidates address spending initiatives, education reform and economic polices during the remainder of the election season.

Romney, fellow Republican lawmakers and campaign supporters feel Obama’s private sector comment during the press conference illustrates how “out of touch” he is with the nation’s economic woes, accordng to interview excerpts republished by CBS News. If the number of hits garnered by Romney’s new web campaign ad is any indication, Obama’s private sector fiscal health comment will be making headlines for many weeks to come.

Here is the new web campaign:
