What do you get for the multi-millionaire who has everything this holiday season? How about a $150 million super yacht.

The 269-foot vessel was created by Rolls Royce and Palmer Johnson and features some unique features for the super rich including a six-man submarine that can enter and exit the vessel through a “James Bond door that opens into the water.”

The super yacht also features a helicopter hangar which CNN jokes is like the Batmobile garage.

If that isn’t enough to quench your thirst for high taste amenities the yacht also offers a full sized swimming pool, movie theater, a fully equipped beauty salon and even a classroom with the latest satellite technologies.

The owners apartment then covers three decks with a fourth deck made available for guests.

As one executive says of the project:

“This is a moving house,” and “If you don’t like the neighbors, you can just sail away.”

For the security obsessed the giant yacht also features water cannons to fend off would-be pirates.

Unfortunately even with more than one year of construction already completed on the boat the finished product is still 18 months away from completion.

I guess even the filthy rich might be interested in combining their taste for luxury automobiles and showing off their concern for rising gas prices and being ecologically minded.

At least that is what old world luxury automobile maker Rolls Royce is hoping for as they announce plans to make an all electric Phantom called the 102EX. However they are also hedging their bets by calling this a one off project that will depend on the reaction by those that can afford a Rolls Royce to begin with.

After being unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1 it will go on a road trip around the world as a tester vehicle.

“It is the company’s intention to carefully test the opinions and reactions to alternative drivetrain options of a range of stakeholders including owners, enthusiasts, members of the public and the media,” a press release said.

Rolls has started a website, www.electricluxury.com, to promote the car, though it says it has no plans to produce a production version.

Full specificiations for the 102EX, also known as Phantom Experimental Electric, will be released Feb. 28.

The UK Telegraph is reporting that the King of Bahrain’s son, Sheikh Abdulla Bin Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa is suing Michael Jackson, aka Wacko Jacko for millions of dollars in a London court.

The Sheikh, wasn’t  a former “sleep over” pal at Jacko’s Neverland Ranch, rather he met the “king of pop” when Jackson spent time lying low in Bahrain after he was found not guilty of child abuse in 2005.

During his time in Bahrain, the Sheikh allegedly built Jackson a recording studio, paid him a $6.7m advance for two albums, a show and an autobiography, and gave him a $268,000 Rolls Royce.

The Sheikh says Jackson kept the money but did not make the albums, stage show or autobiography as promised.  Apparently the Sheikh loaned him the money as an advance, to help with the financial issues, it wasn’t as if he actually wanted to hear the music.

In his defense, Jackson claims the payments he received were “gifts”.  He would know all about those.

The issue is listed for trial before the High Court and security staff are making preparations should Jackson appear. All children have been banned from the courts, and additional supplies of blankets and burkhas have been shipped in.
