The LAPD is preparing to reinterview Chris Brown to help build a case against him for his near murder of girlfriend Rihanna.

Police are also said to be preparing to reinterview Rihanna as well to make sure all details are clear, and the case could be handed to the Los Angeles district attorney for prosecution as soon as early next week.

Brown was released on $50,000 bail on one felony count of making criminal threat, although its believed that the charge may be upgraded to something more serious, and Brown could face multiple charges for what he did to Rihanna.

Rihanna remains holed up in Los Angeles and has yet to make a public statement.
