]]> Revver users will experience a number of outages in June as new owner LiveUniverse moves the service to its own datacenter.

The once highly promising Revver ran out of money last year then was acquired by serial death throw acquirer LiveUniverse for a rumored $500,000 in February.

According to a notice sent to Revver users, downtime is scheduled as follows:

  • June 7th, from 11 am to 6 pm PST. During this time, no videos will play on or off Revver.com, and Revver.com will be be unavailable.
  • June 12th from 11 pm to 3 am PST. This will affect Revver.com and the Revver API.
  • June 17th, from 12 pm to 5 pm PST. During this time, Revver’s transcoding and development servers will be offline.

    • There’s still a surprisingly strong community at Revver so some people will notice.
