… like not recording all her personal details in journals. What if somebody found them and spilled all the details onto the internet? However, that’s almost preferable to the mess she’s potentially facing.

While we were hoping that Anne had ducked out of ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri’s problems in the nick of time, it looks like she’ll be more “involved” now that the FBI have gotten its hot hands on her personal diaries. According to the New York Daily News:

“The agents confiscated the intimate diaries of the “Devil Wears Prada” star during another raid on Follieri’s $37,500-a-month Trump Tower pad, according to the sources. [...] Also confiscated were documents, watches, a Tiffany clock, an antique Bible and personal photos of Follieri and Hathaway.”

I’m assuming that all these items make sense, but it seems pretty hodge-podge to me. Since Raffaello was in a $37,500 per month apartment, there’s got to be some other vital stuff to “bolster the case” hanging about. Unless it’s, you know, somewhere else.

With allegations of shady con-artist behavior and a $21 million bail, Anne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri is trying to wiggle his way through the mess. Could he be getting closer to a reduced sentence of 5-6 years? It does sound a lot better than 9 if convicted.

Earlier this week, Assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer Burns told the NY Post that Follieri “is in plea discussions.” Meanwhile, Follieri’s lawyer Flora reacted by stating that “certainly not saying that [there was a deal], and I’m not sure it’s appropriate.” Oopsie. So far, the only confirmation-confirmation was that Follieri had gotten some extended time in court.

“As far as I’m concerned, we’re looking forward to our day in court,” she told the Post.
