Tim Gunn revealed quite a bit about his personal life on the new ABC daytime lifestyle show “The Revolution.” Gunn said that he is celibate and hasn’t had sex for over 29-years.

When therapist Tiffanie Davis Henry said that many couples have no sex or low-sex relationships, Gunn revealed that he has been celibate for 29 years. Gunn said:

“I haven’t had sex in 29 years. Do I feel like less of a person for it? No. Not even remotely.”

Gunn went on to explain the reason for his celibacy, saying:

 ”I was in a very intense relationship for a long time and my partner ended it. Quite frankly, he was impatient with my sexual performance… It was at the cusp of AIDS, and I think a lot of people simply retreated because they were concerned about their health. I certainly was. I’m happy to be healthy and alive, quite frankly.”

Gunn, who is openly gay, said that he doesn’t have a rule that prohibits him from sex and despite his celibacy he is quite happy with his life. Gunn added:

“I am a perfectly happy, fulfilled individual… I have feelings. It’s not as though I’m some barren forest… I don’t want to imply to anyone that I have a mandate that says no sex. I don’t. I don’t know what’s around the corner.”

That is one hell of a dry spell, Tim Gunn.

Celibacy and asexuality have been in the news a lot this week, and the sex-free lifestyle got another big q-rating boost this week with Project Runway‘s Tim Gunn’s announcement that he has been sexless for the past thee decades. Gunn’s sexual abstention is a bit interesting, however- he talked about it publicly as early as 2006, but it seems that his departure from sex stems largely around a carried torch for a former partner.

Gunn stopped shagging in the early 80′s- at the height of the AIDS epidemic in the gay community- but he says the decision has been totally peaceful for him. Gunn credits a true love for his lack of lovemaking, and said on ABC’s chat show The Revolution:

“I haven’t had sex in 29 years. Do I feel like less of a person for it? No. Not even remotely… It’s very personal. I was in a very intense relationship for a long time. And my partner ended it, saying that, quite frankly, he was impatient with my sexual performance.”

So, does Gunn have any regrets about living for the past three decades with no sex? Not really- he says he is just pleased to have gotten through the scary period in gay mens’ health without getting sick:

“I think a lot of people simply retreated because they were concerned about their health. I certainly was… And I’m happy to be healthy and alive, quite frankly.”

Interestingly, though, Gunn doesn’t think that it means he will necessarily be celibate forever. He admits:

“I have feelings. It’s not as though I’m some barren forest. I don’t want to imply to anyone that I have a mandate that says no sex. I don’t. I don’t know what’s around the corner.”

Miranda Kerr move over, there’s a new snout on the runway. Last night on “Project Runway” the designers were given the task, nay, the privilege, nay, the honor, to dress the one and only Miss Piggy.

Miss Piggy has been promoting her latest feature film, The Muppets, and stopped by “Project Runway” to see if the designers could create a new dress for her. Of course, The Muppets has been out for a few months now so it looks like Miss Piggy probably won’t be wearing the dress to any premiers. Still, the designers were pretty excited about the new challenge. Austin Scarlett said:

“In many ways, we are kindred spirits. I myself like to pepper my conversation with French phrases, I like to refer to myself as ‘moi!’”

Michael Costello said:

“I’m so excited to meet her. She’s like fashion’s dream client!”

But not everyone was happy about the new project. Anthony Williams said: ”

“It was a hard time trying to find a dress that would look good on a human, and seeing how it looks, on this, muppet.”

The designers were able to create their dresses with model size models. The dresses would later be modified to fit Miss Piggy.

In the end, Miss Piggy chose Michael as the winnner. Miss Piggy said:

 “The winning designer is someone who made a fabulous dress for a fabulous model, and that someone is…wait for it…that someone is Michael!”

Former Project Runway finalist Kenley Collins was arrested Tuesday after assaulting her boyfriend with a cat.

New York City Police say that Kenley tossed the cat, a laptop, a glass of water, and three apples at Zachary Penley during an argument in the couple’s Brooklyn apartment. Penley told police that Collins woke him by tossing the cat in his face, and then later told him “You’re lucky, it could have been worse” which is fair, because she could have thrown a dog

Penley, an artist and musician penned a song called “CAT?” for Collins’ Project Runway finale appearance in Season 5.

Kenley claims the fight was “a miscommunication” and that “there is no case.” There’s no word on the wellbeing of the cat.

Christian Siriano has bundled up all that fierceness for a very interesting project: Fierce for Moody Mamas by the one-and-only Siriano himself. Judging from the designs (above), they’re going to be great, although I do hope that Siriano actually field-tests his 2009 line with a slew of preggers ladies. This fabulous boy loves himself some ruffles, so I just hope that they’ll be in the right place.
