Ending months of speculation, Jennifer Hudson’s blabbermouth pal Felicia Fields has confirmed nearly detail of the star’s previously under-wraps pregnancy to the media following a baby shower this weekend hosted by an unnamed relative. Fields even spilled to the press that Jennifer was gifted mostly yellow items, having chosen to be surprised by the baby’s gender.

The road to stardom has been bittersweet for Hudson. She won an Academy Award for her acclaimed and show-stealing performance in Dreamgirls, but later tragically lost her mother, brother and young nephew in a shocking triple murder that made national headlines. Hudson stayed out of the spotlight for a spell, returning to perform at the Superbowl this February.

Jennifer and her handlers have been either denying or not commenting on the rampant rumors for months now. Hudson is thought to be about seven months pregnant, and the baby’s father is fellow reality-TV alumnus David Otunga of VH1 trainwreck I Love New York 2.

Kimora, who has two children from her previous marriage to designer Russell Simmons, said that Hounsou had “the heart, the soul, and the hotness” after meeting him in early 2007. While she was rumored to be pregnant on and off in 2008, things seemed rather doubtful after she told Harper’s Bazaar ”After my breakup, I thought, ‘I don’t need anything.’” She continued, saying “I have a lot of hang-ups in life with men. I’m not very trusting.” 

Hounsou has said that Kimora’s the “least high-maintenance lady I’ve ever dated,” which explains why they’ve been together so long. From watching wayyy too much Life in the Fab Lane, I’m not sure how that’s possible… obviously this was meant to be.

She’s tried to get pregnant before, but just when I didn’t expect it. . . Jenna’s preggers?! Wow. She might have been fading into the background after her retirement, but now we’ll probably be treated to years on end of Jenna-strolling-with-baby pics. Page Six reports:

“‘She had a bunch of meetings and things planned for Fashion Week, including meetings for her own line, but she’s postponed everything,’ said our source. ‘She’s completely thrilled, this is something she’s wanted for a very long time.’

The porn queen is pregnant with the baby of her boyfriend, UFC champ Tito Ortiz. Jameson miscarried during her marriage to Jay Grdina, whom she divorced in 2006. She also once failed with in vitro.”

Congrats to the couple– I definitely didn’t see that one coming, that’s for sure! I do love a surprise. The visual of Jenna pregnant would be cuter if I didn’t have to wonder how everything up there isn’t a hostile environment at this point.
