Wow, I’ve heard of dog poop bomb and even moving of the outhouse on Halloween but someone out there definitely has a hate on for a Bed & Bath store in Radnor Township in Pennsylvania.

It seems that twice now employees have found a package containing 35 pounds of vomit outside of the store.

An employee of Bed, Bath & Beyond in St. Davids Square shopping center reported to Radnor Township Police on June 5 a package containing human vomit was left in the parking lot there.

He estimated that about 35 pounds of vomit was in the package discovered June 5 and stated that a similar package was left in the same spot the week before.

According to the employee, the package was concealed in a white kitchen trash bag and placed about 10 parking rows from the store behind a tree.

If he’s not directing his Twitter army at people who have drawn his ire, he’s getting into crazy hijinks throwing water balloons at law enforcement officials. Bieber was backstage at the Maryland State Fair when the incident occurred, and E! says the cop was not amused by Bieber’s aim:

If you’ve ever looked at trends and popular words on Twitter, you know that Justin Bieber is arguably the most powerful force on the microblogging site.

“Justin Bieber” dominated the trending topics list for-frickin-ever until Twitter organizers stepped in and halted the Biebs’s #tt reign. Bieber fans all over Twitter then responded by gaming his name back into trending terms by making up clever permutations like “Bustin Jieber” and the like to trick the list. Bieber’s manager was even arrested after using Twitter to accidentally organize a riot on Long Island last fall.

Perhaps allowing such Twitter juice to fall into the hands of a mere child was only asking for a catastrophe one day. And it seems that day has arrived- Justin Bieber has finally succumbed to the massive microblogging power he possesses. To prank call a rival. Fuck with one of Bieber’s friends? He’s tweeting the hell out of your number to his eight kabillion followers.

A message appeared on the teen queen’s Twitter feed, reading only “everybody call me,” followed by the number of one 15-year-old Kevin Kristopik. Kristopik had apparently done something horrible to a friend of Biebs, perhaps hiding his chastity ring or lopping off a section of his man bangs. And the insult was not allowed to stand, and Kostnik was buried in 26,000 instantaneous texts to his now useless phone.

According to a legal expert consulted by E!, the action isn’t likely to land Bieber in the big house, but he could face civil liabilities for the stunt.

The video below has been making the rounds (we picked it up off Consumerist), depicting a bunch of people cruelly lured into picking up an unattended copy of Microsoft Office only to be scared frickless when the unassuming box starts emitting a shrill, alarm-like noise.

No one can seem to discern if the video is a lame attempt at viral marketing by Microsoft or just a prank. Some say the reactions look staged, and a few people have suggested that it is some kind of anti-piracy message. (Which is kind of funny because the people who are punished by the box are just random passersby who find the object places like directly in the middle of the fricking sidewalk.) Of course, if it is viral marketing, it’s pretty counterintuitive since it kind of implies if you even touch the software, it will cause you great distress and possibly giantly poofy hair. (Coincidentally, the sum of my experience with Microsoft Office products.)

Either way, if you like watching people getting scared, falling down and being inconvenienced, you might enjoy the clip below. Like the guy who finds it perched mid-way up the stairs and almost falls down them. It’s funny, because he almost dies!

Microsoft alarm video: viral marketing? Prank? is a post from: The Inquisitr

New Yorkers will almost never admit to LA having anything on us, despite the fact that they’ve got more access to cars, and virtually no snow and fancy parties like the Oscars. (In fact, the rivalry became so intense a while back that rappers were like, killing each other over it and stuff. Rest in peace, Biggie.)

We say we’re more like a European City. We’re tougher because we’re not spoiled and we wear 5″ heels on the subway every day, bitches, even when it’s raining ice which is like every day through mid-April. One area where this rivalry is notably absent is lusting after the West Coast chain In-n-Out Burger. New Yorkers who have done business in LA or visited New York defectors (don’t you miss the winters?) often come back lamenting the lack of In-n-Out Burgers after a long night drinking. So many early morning commuters were a bit pleased this morning to see that In-n-Out were promoting a new Manhattan location with employees and signage and excited Twitter postings. (Including the pic above.)

It didn’t take too long for In-n-Out to step in and quell the hype, though:

A New Jersey Wal-Mart is seeking the culprit or culprits behind an embarrassing racist prank at a New Jersey store.

Shortly before 7PM, shoppers say an announcement over the intercom at a Washington Township store offended shoppers and workers alike:

“Attention Wal-Mart customers: All black people leave the store now.”

Witnesses say staff were clearly upset by the incident, and shoppers were shocked:

“Just as I finished bagging my purchases there was an announcement that said “attention Walmart customers, all black people must leave the store now,’” Ellington explained. “Once I heard that, it was almost like a hush over the whole store momentarily because no one had believed what had taken place.”

An announcement followed about ten minutes later, indicating that staff were reviewing security footage to try and find the person or persons responsible for the announcement. The local police are taking the incident “very seriously,” and treating it as a “bias crime.”

“It’s being treated as a suspected bias crime in which the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office is assisting Washington Township,” Weisenfeld said, adding the county’s victim-witness coordinator has contacted the store manager to offer counseling service to those in the store who were affected by this.

While the actions of the pranksters were certainly offensive and cruel, is counseling really necessary?

Okay, who was racist over the intercom at Walmart? is a post from: The Inquisitr

One of the top trending topics on Twitter right now is Formspring, apparently due to a fake news story circulating on the microblogging service.

Formspring.me, a social media platform designed for users to ask and answer anonymous questions, is being maligned in tweets due to a faked AP story dated “two days ago” that claims the site’s operators plan on releasing confidential data about users as a massive April Fool’s day prank:

Over 2 million people have used the site to communicate anonymously with other users since its creation in 2009.

“We allow users to sign up for an account and ask questions anonymously, but we still store their data next to the question. For legal purposes,” said Baxter, in a January interview.

However, it was revealed, in a leaked personal email from Baxter to Anne Gralley, a friend, that the data was being stored for another reason.

“In less than a month, ” (CEO Mark) Baxter wrote, “we’ll be adding the name, email, and facebook account of each user next to all of their anonymous posts.”

Although the piece is alarming at first, a few things should be noted about the alleged news story. There is no record of it on the Associated Press’ main site. Stories without a set date (last week, two days ago) raise a red flag, and the style does not fit in with AP guidelines. (Facebook isn’t capitalized. “Creation of said website” is not typical AP phrasing. “Misleading the public” is not something a news story would cite as a criminal charge.)

Most tellingly, though, the story has not been picked up by any major news outlets or tech sites- something this inflammatory would certainly be a big story. All the links being posted on Twitter lead back to a single source- it appears to be the genesis for this particular rumor.

If you are a Formspring user, I wouldn’t advise canceling your account because of this- there is no information right now that indicates any part of this story is based on fact. Formspring.me has not responded to requests for comment.

Update: In a comment on a Venture Beat post, the president of Formspring calls the story “entirely fictitious”:

Formspring prank story plagues Twitter is a post from: The Inquisitr

Remember back in the summer when that screenshot was making the rounds that appeared to suggest, via Google search suggestions, that black people were more likely to steal cars than white ones?

Google is again being accused of search suggestion bias, this time with a question about Google and Islam. By now, pretty much everyone knows you can type “(variable) is” into the Google search box and receive a host of inane results suggested based on previous searches. Using the simple substitution of “pineapple juice,” for example, leads results with “pineapple juice sperm taste.”

Typing in “Christianity is” at the search box yields a host of bizarre and possibly offensive results, as does “Judaism is” or “Buddhism is.” However, changing the search query to “Islam is” yields nothing. Nada. Not even “Islam is a religion of peace” or “Islam is a common religion in…” Try it, and let me know in the comments if that changes.

UPDATE: Google confirms the results and blames a “bug” for the disparity.

Ron Livingston, best known for roles in Office Space and Sex and the City, is suing over continual Wikipedia edits claiming the actor is gay and in a long-term relationship with a man.

Livingston married a woman named Rosemarie DeWitt earlier this year, but a dedicated Wikipedia editor changes the entry frequently with claims that Livingston is being totally gay with someone named “Lee Dennison.” A claim filed this weekend in L.A. County Superior Court indicates that the “false and malicious” allegations appear almost immediately on Livingston’s Wiki when his reps correct the information. (Could the editor be… a scorned Lee Dennison?)

TMZ says the culprit also created fake Facebook profiles for both Livingston and Dennison, listing the two alleged gay homosexuals as “in a relationship.” Livingston is suing for libel, invasion of privacy and unauthorized use of his likeness. The fact that controversies like this imply being gay is a horrific allegation aside, Queerty points out that now Livingston’s page is guaranteed to devote a section to gayness regardless of the outcome of the case. Which is kind of a total win for the “hacker.”
