Plastic surgeon Anthony Youn has an important message for smokers who plan to undergo a breast lift, if you smoke immediately following the procedure it can reduce blood flow to certain parts of your anatomy, causing your nipples to literally fall off.

According to Youn in his memoir “In Stitches” he had one patients who’s nipples turned purple shortly after the time of her surgery and he had to use desperate measures to save her nipples from being lost forever.

“We went medieval. We used leeches,” Youn writes. The leeches sucked out “old blood” that had been backed up in the woman’s nipples.

Youn now says that:

“In addition to the Surgeon General’s Warning that appears on cigarette packages,” there should be “a Plastic Surgeon’s Warning: If you are having a breast lift or reduction and you smoke, your nipples could turn black and fall off.”

According to Youn it is the carbon monoxide found in cigarette smoke that can slow blood flow to the nipples, while toxins from the cigarettes can act as a virtual tourniquet. As blood flow slows or stops to the healing part of the body it dies and must be removed or falls off.

The sudden car crash death of plastic surgeon to the stars Dr. Frank Ryan yesterday was ruled today to be both due to blunt force trauma to the head… and Twitter?

Dr. Ryan’s last interactions with the world were immortalized, in two final tweets about a hike with his collie, Jill:

After 25 years of driving by, I finally hiked to the top of the giant sand dune on the pch west of malibu. Much harder than it looks! Whew!

And while blunt force trauma was Dr. Ryan’s official cause of death, an ex-girlfriend says police believe that the high-profile doc- who treated patients such as Heidi Montag and Shauna Sand- may have been distracted by Twitter at the time of the fatal accident:

Charmaine Blake, who lived with Ryan for three years and had remained friends with him, told People magazine that Ryan’s family was told by investigators that Tweeting caused the wreck. Blake said Ryan was sending a Twitter message about his dog Jill when the crash occurred. The dog was in the car at the time but survived with head and paw injuries.

The California Highway Patrol has confirmed that Dr. Ryan was tweeting just before his death, but hasn’t officially said the two are related. Toxicology reports may take as long as eight weeks to be completed.

50-year-old Dr. Frank Ryan, plastic surgeon to Heidi Montag, Vince Neil and Janice Dickinson, died Monday after his Jeep went off the road in a “horrific crash.”

Just prior to the accident, Dr. Ryan was tweeting about hiking in Ventura County with his collie, Jill. Dr. Ryan tweeted twice:

The pet survived the collision, and was located in the ocean by the California Highway Patrol:

Ryan had gone for a hike with his dog just before he got back in his jeep. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Ryan’s jeep careered of the side of Pacific Coast Highway at Deer Creek Road in Ventura County around 4:30 pm on Monday… His dog survived the accident, and was taken to a local vet hospital for treatment.

After the crash, Dr. Ryan was trapped in the Jeep and an attempt was made by first responders to evacuate him from the vehicle to treat the major head injuries he sustained in the crash. The attempt was unsuccessful, however, and the surgeon was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled today to determine the exact cause of Dr. Ryan’s death.

You just had to know that sooner or later the wackiness surrounding the death of Michael Jackson would start to surface and this story coming out of Miami definitely ranks up at the top so far.

It appears that well known Miami restaurateur, as well as a reputed mobster and a loan shark of some repute, by the name of Al Malnik has step forward claiming that he might be the executor of Jackson’s multimillion dollar estate. Oh and he is also claiming to be the father of Jackson’s youngest son.

This apparently came about during the time that Michael was drowning in debt from the court cases against him and Malnik rescued him from a $70 million loan.

At the time he supposedly signed everything over to Malnik, Jackson was drowning in debt, much of it coming from his child molestation legal bills and no doubt the $27 million he paid to silence a couple of other kids who had accused him of molesting them.

Malnik, who was once dubbed “heir apparent” to mobster Meyer Lanksky, reportedly saved Jackson from bankruptcy when he was unable to repay a $70 million loan.

But then Jackson got this crazy idea that Malnik might be expecting something in return and ended up accusing him of conspiring against him.

According to a 2005 Vanity Fair article, he believed Malnik along with music mogul Tommy Mottola and film director Brett Ratner were out to swindle him of his stake in the Beatles collection, which was worth more than a half-billion dollars.

Malnik disputed these allegations, saying he was nothing more than a father figure to Jackson.
