A Gainsville, Florida, man has been arrested on child abuse charges after hitting his teenage daughter with a slice of pizza.

The 38 year old man and his daughter were arguing over the girl spending too much time on her computer. The man allegedly cursed at her and used racist language. The daughter then responded by cursing back at him, saying a few choice words of her own. The man then threw a slice of pizza at her, hitting her in the back of the neck as she sat in front of her computer.

The girl called 911 and her father was arrested and charged with child abuse without harm, a third-degree felony. The name of the defendant and age of the girl are being witheld to protect the identity of the victim.
