It looks like the Lohan feud machine is going to stop chugging along quite so smoothly now that Lindsay Lohan’s paternal grandfather has passed away from colon cancer.

It’s a severe understatement to say that this has been a bad week for the Lohans, but Michael somehow found time to talk to the press, telling OK! that “My father just, literally, died in my arms. I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified Dina’s attorney. Let’s see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral.”

But then (of course) Michael threw in a zinger, stating that “THIS will show [Dina's] true colors! Thus, not even a call. But that’s par for the course with Dina! She didn’t even send a card or visit when he was sick.”

What’s disturbing is that Michael’s still taking time out of the ol’ sched to talk to the press about his father passing away. Who’s “In Control” now?

Lohan Feud Temporarily Halted is a post from: The Inquisitr

If I ignore the conflicting reports (flaunting her single self vs. being engaged), I can concentrate on the ridiculousness that is this OK! mag report. They’ve made Jennifer Aniston out to be a heroine of the dating world, when what she was really doing was shopping and sightseeing:

“Indeed, Jen spent the next few days showing just how happy she was to be single, wearing flattering outfits and going shopping. She also spent time soaking in some culture, walking the halls of the Metropolitan Museum of Art on, where she spent over an hour admiring one exhibit.”

There’s a grain of truth to the lightweight sensationalism, even if it does describe Jen as “‘openly encouraging the attention, smiling, showing off her body, and creating photo ops’”: I’d be happy to be single after my ex gave everyone blow-by-blow account of the breakup. Maybe Jennifer’s not flaunting her singleness as much as rejoicing the fact that she’s escaped from such a cad. Now that I can believe.

In another daring attempt to get us to care about what he’s doing, Michael Lohan has announced plans to spar with Kevin Federline in an OK! Exclusive.

I’m glad to report that Kevin wasn’t his first choice, but Richard Johnson of Page Six. Is anyone surprised that Richard promptly refused? Michael commented to OK! that he didn’t actually care who is was, which must have been totally flattering to Kevin Federline. Michael continued by saying that “Everyone wants me to fight K-fed because he’s a notorious celebrity dad and so am I.”

It’s not about who will win, but who will fight dirtier, for sure. To Michael’s credit, he will be helping people, with donations going to Long Island’s Fight for Charity.

I still feel sorta bad for Lindsay Lohan, though. As if her life wasn’t complicated enough.

It was just $15 million yesterday, but now we’ve got even heftier reports that the unborn Brangelina baby pics could have possibly reached $22 million in the bidding war between People and OK! The numbers are probably a little off, but it is believed that the pictures will fetch more than the J-Lo baby pics that were reportedly sold at $7 million.

Rumor has it that People Editor Larry Hackett is dedicated to beating OK!, which he just might think of as undeserving. My money is on People as well, since they’ve got the most solid budget for this type of purchase.

This is actually getting pretty fun. How many more wild figures are we going to get in before someone forks over the dough? I’m shivering with anticipation!
