Nintendo launched its new Nintendo Channel for Wii users in the U.S. today. The channel lets you demo games, read all about ‘em, and – yep – even purchase them without ever taking your hand off the controller. The antisocial world may never be the same.

The program even adds a Tivoesque “tracking” feature that can monitor the games you play, then make new recommendations based on your preferences. Either that, or use you as a free marketing tool for Nintendo developers…I’m not sure.
