Amazon Prime, the $79 a year service that gives free 2 day shipping and $1.99 per item one day shipping, will be adding Viacom shows to it’s online video streaming service. They signed an agreement with Viacom to add shows from their multitude of channels such as Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, MTV, and TV Land to name a few.

For customers who have a Prime account, you also get free access to thousands of TV shows and movies which somewhat competes with Netflix. If you buy a good amount of stuff, Prime pays for itself over time and the online video streaming service is a nice added bonus.

Via Businessweek:

“This deal with Viacom brings Prime customers and Kindle Fire users thousands of comedies, kids’ shows, reality TV and much more from some of the best cable networks available,” said Brad Beale, director of video content acquisition for Amazon. “We are constantly working to improve the service by adding the shows that our customers enjoy the most.”

“The number of videos bought or rented and the number of customers on Amazon Instant Video, the company’s online streaming service, more than doubled in the fourth quarter from a year earlier, Amazon said last month.”

The e-commerce site has grown massively over the years and has a very large and loyal customer base. Great customer service is key, as they demonstrate, and giving more value to the consumer leads to more sales in the long run. Whether people will soon be watching Jersey Shore or not, well, let’s hope they stay away from that show.

Pauly D is getting his own show. The “Jersey Show” cast member will take center stage on “The Pauly D Project” next month on MTV.

“The Pauly D Project” will follow the spiky haired star as he tries to find success with his DJ career. The NY Times reports that the first season of the show will feature Paul Delvecchio signing a contract with G-Note records, touring with Brittany Spears, and hanging out with his entourage Michael Morgan (a k a Biggie), Gerard Gialanella (Big Jerry), Jason Craig (JROC) and Ryan Labbe.

MTV writes in a press release:

“The Pauly D Project” will give viewers an inside look at Pauly D’s life away from Seaside Heights, NJ, as cameras document his transition from world-famous housemate to world-class DJ with his best friends from his home state of Rhode Island along for the ride… It’s not always all girls, good times and good music as (Pauly D aims) to become one of the world’s most successful and recognized names in the music industry.”

“The Pauly D Project” will air on March 29th on MTV after “Punk’d.” MTV decided to revitalize Ashton Kutcher’s old celebrity prank show, but this time it will be hosted by various celebrities like Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus.

Entertainment Weekly reports that “Jersey Shore” will be ending its five season run on March 15th. Luckily, Pauly D will fill the “Jersey Shore” void shortly after the season finale.

Amber Portwood, of MTV Teen Mom fame, is not heading to prison.  She was facing up to five years for felony drug possession. Portwood had plead guilty to possession and for violating her probation. She agreed to enter a rehab facility as part of the plea deal. The judge has given her initial approval for the deal.

The deal does not mean Portwood will be released immediately.  The Drug Court team of experts will take up to two weeks to analyze the deal and make sure it is appropriate for her.  If they give their approval she will be released to the rehab facility.

Her attorney Evan Broderick told HollywoodLife.com,

“We [tendered] an agreement to the court where she’ll go to drug court in lieu of taking a conviction of the new case. If she completes drug court, she’ll get to have that case reduced or at least petition to have the case reduced down to a misdemeanor. If  she violates though, she will have a five year exposure to prison.”

Amber is facing 25 months on her prior domestic battery conviction and 36 months for her new possession case. The Rehab program will last approximately 1-3 years

“I’m happy with the outcome so long as she does what she’s supposed to do,” says Evan. “I won’t be happy with it if she screws it up and goes away for five years. She really needs some structure. She was kind of young and obviously came into a large amount of money and didn’t have a whole lot of structure, picked up a drug problem and some other problems. The people who graduate from that program generally come out better people.”

Amber recently revealed that she makes more than $280,000 per year to star on MTV’s ht show Teen Mom.

Amber Portwood Makes Plea Bargain, Headed to Rehab [Video] is a post from: The Inquisitr

Hoboken mayor Dawn Zimmer isn’t a fan of the popular MTV reality series Jersey Shore and for that reason she has denied Jim Bianco and 495 Production the necessary permits required to film Snooki and JWoww’s new Shore spinoff in the New Jersey city.

In the letter which denied the permit Zimmer noted:

“Based on protecting public safety and quality of life concerns for Hoboken residents, the city has denied a film permit for a spin-off of the ‘Jersey Shore’ to be filmed in public locations.”

The show was originally announced in April 2011 at which point staff from 495 Production began scouting out locations before settling on Hoboken.

In a statement teasing about the show MTV officials initially released this short synopsis:

“Always inseparable and ready to get the party started at the shore, viewers will get to see how they deal with life and love when the vacation is over in this 12-episode series” and ”The locale may be different, but the friendship is sure to remain the same.”

When Beavis and Butthead was returned to us 90′s kids, surprisingly intact and still hilarious, the first glimpse we were given were the two huh-huh merchants huh-huhing at MTV’s guido-centric reality show Jersey Shore.

Indeed, it seems the low-intellect shenanigans of Snooki, J-Woww and The Situation were perfect for their critical pop-culture commentary, and Butthead’s comment about the hook-up chart going back far enough to see “where herpes began” made many Beavis and Butthead fans feel assured the show’s sense of humor remained intact. It was also spot-on- the young people featured on Jersey Shore have demonstrated a very indiscriminate eye for the opposite sex and often engage in hook-ups as part of the show’s “plot.”

So MTV has gathered the kids together to advise the rest of us on how to behave (and not behave) when engaging in a hook-up. If you’ve ever envied Pauly D’s game, here’s your chance to romance the ladies like a juicehead. And if you’ve ever wondered just how Snooki manages to reign in the guidos, read on.

From Pauly D, some words on respectful use of technology: ”You should never text-message during hooking up…Put your phone away.”

The Situation addressed another respect issue, keeping track of names: “You should never call another name. If her name is Sheila, don’t call her Tawana.”

Ever the lady, J-Woww advised discretion when talking to a potential hook-up: “[Don't] throw it all out there… ‘I got kids, I was married, I was this, I’m bankrupt, I killed my mom’ …you don’t do that stuff.”

And Deena wants to remind potential lotharios to keep bodily functions under control, adding: “[Don't] fart or burp in their face.”

Inquisitr brought you a handful of reports on MTV’s Teen Mom jailbird Amber Portwood today, but it looks like Teen Mom isn’t done with breaking news just yet. Now, there are reports of Teen Mom 2 star (if that’s what you’d call her) Jenelle Evans being taken into custody again, this time for harassing and threatening former roomie Hannah Inman.

Here’s the rant Jenelle posted on her Facebook Fanpage:

“Yes I was arrested again. It’s okay. Hannah’s just calling her own bluffs. How can I harass you with phone calls when you clearly don’t own a cell phone? I’ve dropped this argument weeks ago. Haven’t been paying attention to you but you have the balls to tell your little ‘fans’.. ‘I’mma f–king kill that bitch’?! [Who's] threatening who here?! Lmao. She’s mad because I took out charges first on [James Duffy] for cyber stalking,”

Oh wait, there’s more.

“Not to mention I REALLY don’t give a f–k about Hannah or Duffy when I’ve been in and out of the hospital for three weeks now with mono/strep and have to get my tonsils out. Yeah as I’m about to walk out the door to go to the hospital the cop is at my door and I got down on my knees and poured out tears. I was so upset. I had to go to jail THEN go to the hospital. I feel like sh-t, would greatly appreciate it if everyone would drop it. K?! Thxxxx!”

Jenelle posted her $1,000 bond and Tweeted “I’m as free as a biiirrrrddddd ” as she presumably drove off in search of Skyy Vodka and Newport cigarettes.

Jenelle’s attorney, Dustin Sullivan, stated that while Jenelle was indeed charged Tuesday, the charges are “absurd and retaliatory in nature”, opining that James Duffy and Hannah Inman pressed charges for, I don’t know, revenge… for… something.

And now, Jenelle’s record boasts harassment charges in addition to her October 2010 guilty plea for breaking and entering, possession of drug paraphernalia, and her March 2011 assault charges which were widely and notoriously covered by ALL of the major media networks when a video of Jenelle brutally attacking another girl surfaced online.

Keep it up, Jenelle. Amber Portwood could probably use a cell-mate to help her get through all her “pain”.

Once again I ask you, dear reader: does reality TV drive these people to this or does being petty, selfish and arrogant lead one to reality TV?

Teen Mom 2′s Jenelle Evans Rants on FB Over Being Arrested… Again is a post from: The Inquisitr

She’s up, she’s down, she’s fighting for redemption, she’s losing her mind. One thing about Amber Portwood is certain: the girl is very news-worthy lately. Just today, Inquisitr told you about her letter from jail, promising to change her life and be a good mom after all to daughter, Leah. Despite what looks like a hopeful turnaround for the troubled young mom, the 21-year-old reality starlet is on suicide watch again after a failed attempt last June that put her in the hospital, and later rehab.

An anonymous insider spilled the beans on Portwood’s condition:

“Amber recently told the guard if she was sent to prison she would kill herself, which put the Teen Mom on temporary suicide watch,” the insider said “Amber is really depressed and alone and they won’t give her any prescription medication for her anxiety.”

Furthermore, there’s no love lost between Portwood and her jail-mates:

“Amber has already been moved twice from two other cell blocks because all the inmates were threatening her and she was scared she’d get beat up, [...] One girl knocked of Amber’s food tray and another inmate threw toilet water in her face while she was trying to sleep.”

She should probably just show them some of the moves she’d reserved for milquetoast baby-daddy Gary. Still, loneliness is also becoming a factor:

“Amber feels threatened that she is being replaced as Leah’s mom and she didn’t even have a chance to buy her daughter Christmas gifts before going to jail, [...] Gary thinks Amber being in jail for a long period of time is a good thing for her, he thinks she needs to finally learn her lesson and suffer the consequences.”

Since her imprisonment, the only person who has visited Portwood is her mother, Tonya.

“She’s barely eaten or had any sleep in over a week and she’s constantly being harassed in jail because of Teen Mom,”

The insider also opined that at first, Portwood was nonplussed at the threat of jail-time, thinking that her celebrity status would protect her. Now that the reality of it is setting in, she’s losing her grip. Tonya has offered her wayward daughter help in getting out of jail, but on one condition: quit Teen Mom.

“I really think this is the final straw for Amber, she’s quitting Teen Mom for good,” noted the insider.

In any case, Portwood, who is in prison for probation violation, is staying where she’s at until at least January 27th, the date of her next hearing.

Jersey Shore Star Nicole Polizzi, better known by her household-handle “Snooki”, has two big things on her mind: a $500,000 monogamy-rock from boyfriend Jionni Lavalle… and a boob job. Maybe that’s three things.

We’ll give her credit on her weight loss. Jersey Shore’s hobbit is down to 102 pounds, and for what? Vanity? She says commitment to health and exercise, as well as saying “no” to the bottle more often than not.  Good for her. But all of this self-improvement can’t be totally vanity-free, can it?

Not too long ago, she tweeted that she wanted “knockers” like Jersey Shore gal-pal Jennifer Farley (JWoww), and according to reports, this is happening “Very soon. Very soon.”

“I hope in the next couple of months,” she said. “”They’re a good size now, but I want them like this when I’m not wearing a bra.”

JWoww is even going to hook Snooks up with her boob-doc for the surgery.

“I’m definitely taking her to my doctor,” she said. “I’ll go in and get mine redone to make her feel better.”

Well ain’t that sweet.

The two besties are currently looking for a house together (which will come with a spin-off show) and have hinted at settling down (which will probably also come with a spin-off show).

Snooki has at least been trying on engagement rings, and the one that caught her eye came with a price-tag of $500,000 dangling from it. Boyfriend-of-one-year Jionni Lavalle made her take it off immediately:

“Jionni made me take it off,” she admitted. “He was like, ‘Don’t even think about it.’ It was like this big and sparkly and amazing ring. I just want a big one.”

Katy Perry beat out Adele, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga to win MTV’s first Artist of the Year award.

Perry had a huge year in 2011. The singer’s album Teenage Dream had five number one singles. She also appeared in the movie, “The Smurfs,“ hosted “Saturday Night Live,” and won MTV’s Music Video of the Year award for her “Firework” video.

Katy Perry said:

“I wasn’t really allowed to watch MTV growing up, so this feels really validating…  I’ve had a fantastic year, a great tour and a great run, and you guys have been so a part of it and such a big reason why. So thank you so much. I really appreciate it.”

Amy Doyle, MTV’s chief of music programming, said that the Artist of the Year award was chosen by seven MTV panelists. Doyle said:

“You just really felt her presence in pop culture throughout the year.”

Here’s Katy Perry’s “Firework,” which won the Music Video of the Year Award.

After winning the award for best video, Perry said:

“Oh my goodness! Thank you so much. This has been a night of firsts. This is my second Moonman. I’m very proud of the song it stands for, which is ‘Firework.’ I feel like I am doing something right when I sing that song. So thanks to everyone who helped to create it.”

CBS reports that Perry’s success at the MTV awards could lead to a couple of Grammys. Perry was just nominated for two Grammy awards. She’ll be hoping to take home the award for best record of the year and best pop solo performance for “Firework.”

It has been months since Abercrombie publicly offered Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino $1 million to stop wearing their clothing on the hit MTV show Jersey Shore and now the reality TV star has filed suit against the clothing manufacturer.

In his lawsuit Sorrentino says the company used advertising techniques to capitalize on his known celebrity to create publicity for the clothing retailer, techniques he says infringe on his trademarked name.

The Situation also isn’t happy that the company also started selling shirts that read “The Fituations” and “GTL … You Know The Deal.”

Sorrentino is suing Abercrombie & Fitch for $4 million in damages and the lawsuit was filed in a Florida court on Tuesday naming Sorrentino and his company MPS Entertainment as the plaintiffs. Abercrombie executives are not responding to the lawsuit at this time.

Whether or not he’ll continue to wear clothing from Abercrombie is still to be seen.

It was a big night for Lady Gaga after she picked up four awards during the MTV Europe Music Awards including a nod for best song (“Born This Way”).

After winning one of her awards she told the audience:

“Thank you for believing in my vision; the success of Born This Way has changed my life.”

Among the singers other awards were nods in the best female performer, best video and best fan supported categories.

Gaga also took to the stage to perform her song “Marry The Night” in which she wore a satellite-themed costume while performing on top of a giant moon sculpture.

Also in attendance was Justin Bieber who performed Under the Mistletoe as a show opener and then sat in the audience to support the shows host and current girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Also receiving some of the nights top awards was Bruno Mars (best push and best new categories), Katy Perry (best live act) and Linkin Park (best rock act).

In a surprising win BigBang won the best worldwide category over current songstress of the moment Adele who’s songs have dominated airwaves in many places around the world.

The biggest performance of the night? Queen took to the stage to perform a medley of their various hits.

Get ready Jersey Shore fans your favorite GTL peeps are returning to MTV on January 5th for the season 5 premiere of Jersey Shore.

Unlike seasons past the show will actually share it’s namesake with the location where it was shot, that’s right the hit MTV reality TV series was actually filmed this time around in Seaside Heights, NJ  rather than the far off lands of Florence, Italy.

Returning once again will be Snookie, Pauly D, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and the rest of the Jersey Shore gang.

For fans still catching up from a missed season the Jersey Shore Uncensored: Season Four DVD will be released on Dec. 27.

Jersey Shore Season 5 will air on Jan. 5 at 10 PM ET/PT on MTV.

Will you be tuning in for another season of debauchery and perhaps for the chance to watch Snooki get punched in the face again, that’s a personal favorite reality TV hope of mine.

The animated series, which aired on MTV from 1993-1997, proved to be a huge success as 3.3 million people tuned in for the show’s revival.

In MTV’s target demo, the 12-34 age group, the show scored a 2.6 rating, according to statistics provided by Zap2it.com. The stats went on to show that the premiere performed incredibly well with males, who comprised over two-thirds of the audience, coming in only second behind only megahit Jersey Shore in terms of ratings in the Male 12-34 group.

The revival still features the same two dense teenagers, who have failed to age or mature over the 13 years since they last appeared on TV, covering the latest pop culture phenomena including 16 And Pregnant, Jersey Shore and ABC’s The Bachelor.

“They’re the same boneheads sitting on the same couch, commenting on things through a really simple prism,” MTV president Van Toffler told Rolling Stone in the magazine’s March issue.

It will be difficult for Adele to top her Video Music Awards performance for the hit “Someone Like You,” but reps for the singer have released a teaser for the song’s proper video.

The official music video is expected out later this week, and a press release ahead of its premiere (tommorrow night on MTV and Vevo at 7:56pm EDT) describes the clip as “minimal and graceful.” Jake Nava, who has worked with Kanye West and Beyonce in the past, directed the clip, and he describes the feel of the video:

“The location evokes style and romance,” Nava explains, “and shooting early in the morning allows you to focus on Adele in this lonely and emotional space.”

The clip was shot on location in Paris in the early morning hours, and the released bit shows Adele in black and white wandering the city, singing. The hit comes off Adele’s 21, the biggest selling album of 2011 with more than 10 million units of the record sold worldwide. Since its February 22nd release, Adele’s 21 has remained in the top three of Billboards Top Albums, holding its high rankings for 30 weeks.

Of the song, Adele herself describes the heartbreak that went into writing it. The song chronicles her feelings upon learning the man she believed she’d marry- who had only broken up with her a few months earlier- was engaged to marry another woman. She says:

“I wrote that song on the end of my bed. I had a cold. I was waiting for my bath to run. I’d found out that he’d got engaged.

“We were so intense I thought we would get married. But that was something he never wanted …So when I found out he does want that with someone else, it was just the horrible-est feeling ever. But after I wrote it, I felt more at peace. It set me free … I didn’t think it would resonate … with the world! I’m never gonna write a song like that again. I think that’s the song I’ll be known for.”

Although the official “Someone Like You” video will likely be fabulous, it will be difficult to top this live performance:

495 Productions the company behind MTV’s hit show Jersey Shore will not receive a $420,000 tax credit set aside as part of the state’s economic development initiative.  News of the axed tax cut was made on Monday by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie who called such a tax break “wasteful spending.”

The move is seen as a victory for Italian Americans who have been protesting the show since it began. That demographic reached out to the Governor along with a New Jersey assemblyman to ask Christie for a block to the subsidy.

After blocking the tax initiative Christie said he does not want to “police’ the content of specific projects, while adding that Jersey Shore doesn’t benefit the state like a long term project can. According to Christie:

“I am duty-bound to ensure that taxpayers are not footing a $420,000 bill for a project which does nothing more than perpetuate misconceptions about the state and its citizens.”

There has been no response from 495 Productions, MTV or anyone else associated with the reality TV show. Given the tremendous exposure Jersey Shore has received I highly doubt $420,000 is going to put too much of a damper on the shows financiers.

To commemorate what could have been the 28th birthday of Amy Winehouse, the track and video of “Body and Soul” will be released in its entirety on September 14, Wednesday.

“Body and Soul” was recorded by Amy Winehouse and Tony Bennett on March 23, 2011 at Abbey Road Studios in London. It was the final recording of Winehouse before her death on July 23.

In a statement that pays tribute to the talent of Winehouse, Bennett said:

“We had a beautiful time recording in the studio and I knew that Amy was very happy with how she performed that day. I thought she was absolutely brilliant and this recording truly captures the essence of her unique artistry. She was a rare talent.”

On Wednesday, MTV Networks will premiere the video at 6:00am ET. MTV, VH!, MTV Hits and MTV U will play the video every hour throughout the morning. MTV.com and radio stations across the country will also be playing the track as part of the launch.

The recording session was filmed by Oscar-winning cinematographer Dion Beebe (“Chicago,” “Memoirs Of A Geisha”) as part of a major documentary film on Bennett in the works. “Body and Soul” is one of 17 tracks to be included on Tony Bennett’s forthcoming CD, DUETS II, due out in the US on September 20.  

Released in honor of Bennett’s 85th birthday, which he celebrated on August 3rd of this year, the album features a celebrated roster of artists who all recorded with Bennett live in the studio including Lady Gaga, Michael Buble, Queen Latifah, Carrie Underwood and John Mayer.

Proceeds of the “Body and Soul” single and video will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Online social media company CheaterVille has teamed up with MTV and the Jersey Shore for its global anti-cheating campaign.

CheaterVille provides information about alleged cheaters. Jersey Shore, though annoying, is undoubtedly the most watched series in MTV history and should serve as a perfect partner especially now that cheating is prevalent. MTV even gave the site a prime advertising placement on the Jersey Shore landing page and has featured a video of its cast members speaking as to why cheating is wrong. Seriously.

Since joining the CheaterVille a few months ago, the reality show stars Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Angelina Pivarnick have both endorsed the website.

CheaterVille’s founder and former United States Marine, James McGibney stated:

Did you hear the news? If you were on Twitter last night there’s a good chance that you did. Jay-Z and Beyonce are pregnant. Beyonce made the announcement about her pregnancy last night during MTV’s Video Music Awards and set off a Twitter frenzy that set a new record for tweets per second.

According to Twitter’s official global PR feed, @TwitterComms, last night at 10:35 p.m, there were 8,868 tweets being sent per second.

TwitterComms tweeted:

“Last night at 10:35pm ET, Beyonce’s big MTV #VMA moment gave Twitter a record bump: 8,868 Tweets per second.”

That’s a higher TPS rate than when Osama Bin Laden was killed.

News about Beyonce’s pregnancy broke a few hours earlier when the singer was walking the red carpet.

MTV tweeted:

“OMG Beyonce just made a huge announcement on the #vma carpet! #baby!!!!!”

But the huge spike in traffic didn’t occur until a few hours later when the singer took the stage to perform “Love on Top.”

Before singing, Beyonce said as she rubbed her five-month baby bump:

“I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside me.”

According to the AFP, Beyonce’s pregnancy news beat the previous tweets per second record by more than 1000 tweets. Here’s a list of some of the biggest spikes in Twitter traffic over the last few years.

• 7,196 tweets were sent per seond during the Women’s World Cup final between Japan and the United States in July.
• 7,166 tweets per second were sent when Brazil lost to Paraguay in the Copa America.
• 6,939 tweets per second when Tokyo rang in the New Year.
• 5,530 tweets per second were sent after the March 11th earthquake that rocked Japan.
• More than 5,000 tweets per second were sent after Osama Bin Laden’s death.

MTV was hoping to use social media in a big way last night, and well, they succeeded. MTV used a Twitter tracker throughout the broadcast to show celebrity tweets and what topics were hot at the moment.

MTV explained:

“Fans who want to get in on the VMA action can head to our MTV Twitter Tracker, where the section labeled ‘buzz’ will display photos of the celebs getting the most mentions. The photos will shrink and grow depending on popularity from moment to moment, so you’ll always know who’s blowing up.”

Needless to say, Beyonce’s pregnancy ruled the night. Beyonce, 29, and Jay-Z, 41, have been married for three years. This is their first child together.

Singer Adele stole the show at the 2011 MTV VMAs with her performance of Someone Like You the huge hit that helped launch her mainstream musical career along with Rolling in the Deep from her sophomore album 21.

Standing center stage in a simple black dress the British songstress accompanied by just a piano backing belted out her hit song, earning a standing ovation from a room full of her peers.

Speaking to MTV News Lady Gaga called Adele:

“She’s a breath of fresh air and she’s so exciting and her music is adding another dimension to radio that’s so important. She’s [also] a truly lovely person — which, to me, is always my favorite.”

With the best selling record of the year (Rolling in the Deep) and a career that appears poised for greatness her clean infectious voice stood out as other acts relied on gimmicks and auto tuning (thanks Lil Wayne) to get the audience up on their feet.

Soulful, sultry and right to the point, everything Adele did during her performance shouted out that music can connect without all the theatrics and special effects singer fall back on during the digital age of music creation.

Bringing the house down with vocals isn’t easy to do but Adele managed and here’s the video for proof:

With the Video Music Awards preparing to air executives at MTV weren’t about to have their biggest stars missing from the event so they sent a private jet to New Jersey where it picked up Jersey Shore stars Snooki, Vinny, Denna and Sammi, whisking them away to Los Angeles for the event.

The reality TV stars flew out of New Jersey on Saturday night, narrowly missing Hurricane Irene which closed down local airports.

As for the rest of the cast, Pauly D was in Oklahoma DJing while Jwoww was hosting a Las Vegas party at PURE.

The photo shown above arrived with a tweet from cast member Vinny who wrote:

“Had to take the PJ to the #VMAs to beat the storm.East coast you will be fine just chill in and laugh while it passes.”

I’m not sure what’s more scary, the hurricane or Vinny sitting behind the controls of a multi-million dollar piece of equipment that flies.

While the cast of Jersey Shore will be in attendance, there’s one singer who will likely be missing the show, Adam Levine of Maroon 5. Levine attacked the video music awards show over the weekend, claiming that MTV shouldn’t host a show when they no longer care about music.

It’s just too bad Snooki and her cohorts made it out of New Jersey, the show would have been a tiny bit better if we could have one MTV event without them.
