Last August Miley Cyrus revealed a small tattoo on her finger. Turns out that her former Disney pal Vanessa Hudgens has the same tattoo. Hudgens, who is currently promoting her new movie “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island,” revealed her “Om symbol” tattoo to Access Hollywood.

Hudgens said that she found out about the identical ink at the People’s Choice Awards this year. Hudgens said:

“I got to see Miley that was really nice. We found out that we have the same tattoo… It’s an om [symbol]. She has one right (on her finger.)”

Hudgens said that the symbol helps her spread positive energy and to center herself. Hudgens also said that some people don’t like her tattoo but that she’s proud of her body and her tattoo. Hudgens said:

“My body is my body. I love myself and I think you’ve got to be proud of the body. You have and own it.”

Miley Cyrus is out and Selena Gomez is in on the set of Adam Sandler’s upcoming vampire movie Hotel Transylvania. Selena will play Dracula’s daughter in the animated flick.

In the film Adam Sandler places a version of Dracula who operates a high-end resort outside of the human world. Dracula eventually freaks out when a boy from the human world discovers the park and falls for Dracula’s teen-aged daughter.

Also starring in Hotel Transylvania is Andy Samberg, Cee Lo Green and Kevin James, the movie is set for a September 2012 release date.

It’s a busy year for Gomez who is also slated to start shooting Spring Breakers in Florida, that movie costars James Franco and Vanessa Hudgens.

In the meantime Miley Cyrus hasn’t exactly been sitting still since Disney’s Hannah Montana went off the air, the Disney star has finished filming LOL and So Undercover which are both slated for 2012 releases.

I’m particularly interested in seeing how Cyrus handles So Undercover in which she plays a tough, street-smart private eye is hired by the FBI to go undercover in a college sorority. I simply can’t buy Miley as anyone other then a confused teen with a crush.

Miley Cyrus, the former Hannah Montana of Disney fame is all grown up and about to do her first on screen sex scene.  In the movie LOL, Laughing out Loud, Miley stars with Demi Moore in a story about a teenager and her mother.

Miley plays Lola, a rebellious teen.  In the movie she goes on an unexpected trip to Paris where she loses her virginity.  In a scene from the movie (video below) she goes from being in bed with one man, to kissing another and then ending the scene kissing another girl.

Miley has recently been the center of a lot of controversy for her adult behavior.  She seems to be trying to tell the whole world that she is all grown up and not Hannah Montana anymore.

A few months ago Miley was photographed smoking a bong she claimed was filled with the legal hallucinogen Salvia. She has also made may references to being a big time pot smoker.

Just last week she was photographed giving some heated action to a cake she gave to her boyfriend that was shaped like a giant Penis.

All of this behavior has caused the The Culture and Media Institute, which claims to “preserve and help restore America’s culture, character, traditional values, and morals against the assault of the liberal media elite,” has criticized Miley for her “disgusting behavior and has been quoted as saying,

“[Miley has]become the epitome of the anti-role model for young girls.”

“Cracked my tailbone doing a front flip… onto the couch,” Miss Cyrus shared with fans. “Thats like when I tripped over a pillow and broke my arm. Only me.”

This also comes on the heel of her condemnation by the Culture and Media Institute for the whole penis cake fiasco.

The head of CMI said in a statement about Miley,

“Disgusting behavior like Cyrus’ may be a part of the ‘real world’ of Hollywood, where casual sex is celebrated and frequent divorce is almost a rite of passage. But it is not the real world, because in the real world, sleazy behaviour has consequences.”

Miley was totally defiant in her tweets though having this to say about the CMI,

“In my wildest dreams you always play my hero. In my darkest hours of the night you rescue me, you save my life. If you have love, you don’t need to have anything else. If you don’t have it, it doesn’t matter much what else you have.”

For a singer who is know for dealing with adversity we at least know she does it with a smile.

In addition, MTV columnist Sam Lansky was quoted as saying that

“Miley is a much better role model than we tend to give her credit for,”

Lansky quoted the multitude of causes that Cyrus has thrown her star power behind.  Miley has been at the forefront of the fight for animal rights.  She has also spoken out very strongly to young girls about having positive body images. She has also been heavily involved in the fight for Gay Rights.  She has been involved with various gay rights organizations and even calling out the CEO of Urban Outfitters for his views against gay marriage.

Miley Cyrus isn’t a Disney princess anymore. The 19-year-old singer gave her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth an x-rated cake for his birthday last weekend. Hannah Montana was even kind enough to pose for a few pictures with the penis cake.

Hemsworth, who is 22, also had some adult beverages at his party and according to TMZ, Miley wasn’t shying away from the alcohol. Cyrus hasn’t commented on whether or not she was drinking, but it wouldn’t be surprising. Miley has been cultivating a “sexy bad girl” image recently.

After getting a new tattoo, Cyrus said:

“People have very mixed opinions on me; I’m a great role model, or I’m completely inappropriate for anyone under 13 and I am controversial. I don’t know how I became this… It’s weird. Two complete extremes. I’m not some crazy lady who’s gone off the deep end, because I definitely haven’t… I just always try to be real. Every 18-year-old explores sexuality and experiments and tries things. For me there’s no reason to change that. You have to be true to yourself.”

In Costa Rica recently, Miley Cyrus had a bit of an encounter with a really pushy fan this week while getting ready to board a helicopter with her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

As the 19-year-old turned to walk away one fan yelled out, “Asshole!”

Miley has not been one to shy away from a conflict or to let people walk all over her.  .Miley who was obviously agitated by the incident screamed out “What the f**k? Are you for real?”

The incident was caught on camera and later aired on a local news station.

Miley has since taken to Twitter to defend herself against accusations that she is a bitch.

She tweeted “Been trying not to tweet & just enjoy the holidays but just to clear something up I would NEVER swear to a fan. When someone yells something SO rude making ME look like an “a**hole” infront of fans who I am more than happy 2 take a picture w/ i cant tolerate that kind of rudeness Every1 who was there apologized 4 the womans brusque behavior. Last week Miley Cyrus stepped out onto the red carpet in a gorgeous, and low cut, gown. The 19-year-old singer’s curvy body had some people wondering if the former Disney star had enhanced her bust with breast implants.

If Cyrus did (which she didn’t) it would have been a little hypocritical of the singer.

After insults started flying over the internet about Miley’s weight, the singer took to Twitter to defend the natural beauty of all women.

Cyrus said:

“By calling girls like me fat, this is what you’re doing to other people…. I love MYSELF & if you could say the same you wouldn’t be sitting on your computer trying to hurt others. I don’t wanna be shaped like a girl I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man won’t mind either.”

But did the fat insults get to Miley? Did she have plastic surgery to change her appearance?

Nope. Cyrus tweeted:

“Thank you for the compliment but these babies are all mine. I wish they’d realize you don’t have to be fake to be beautiful!”

Miley Cyrus is a long way away from her days as Disney’s Hannah Montana.  Miley showed up on the runway sporting an extremely low cut gown this week, joining a long list of celebrities who think the best way to show off is to put their”assets” front and center.  Miley is in good company, joing others who have taken the gown plunge in recent weeks.  Lea Michele, Blake Lively and Jennier Anniston have all been spotted on the red carpet in extremely low cut (but extremely high fashion) gowns.

Miley came out in force this weekend to make several high profile appearances after a controversy a few weeks ago in which the Hollywood Hottie was caught on tape extolling the virtues of being a heavy pot smoker, when her friends presented her with a cake that had an image of Bob Marley on it. Cyrus was quoted as saying “”You know you’re a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake,” … “You know you smoke way too much f-cking weed!”.  She had also been filmed several months ago smoking what she had claimed was legal drug Salvia out of a bong.

Regardless of her past controversies, Miley and her low cut style has been turning a lot of heads on the party scene lately.  Fox News is quoted as saying “Miley Cyrus is the latest star to wear a dress cut down to waaaaaaaay down there.”.

Miley Cyrus has appeared on a leaked video in which she proclaims herself a “stoner.” The footage was shot at Cyrus’ 19th birthday party in Los Angeles last week, and ended up in the hands of The Daily.

In the video, Cyrus is presented a cake featuring Bob Marley by close friend Kelly Osbourne. Cyrus instantly quips:

“You know you’re a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake. You know you smoke way too much f—— weed.”

Osbourne, 27, then responds with, “I thought salvia was your problem, Miley?” That was a reference to a 2010 sighting of Cyrus smoking what she claimed to be the semi-legal herb salvia out of a bong.

After the latest video emerged, Osbourne leapt on the good steed Twitter and began defending her friend. She ranted:

“Let me make something very clear. After Miley’s salvia incident we started calling her Bob Miley as a joke! The cake was also a joke! It makes me sick that  Miley’s so-called ‘friends’ would sell her out and lead people to believe she is someone that she is not. You guys, if Miley is not recording/filming/touring she works everyday. How could she possibly do all that if she was a stoner! #think”

Anyway, the butter-wouldn’t-melt-poppet-turned-bad-girl narrative is one beloved by media outlets, but there seems to be nothing unusual about Cyrus’ behavior (if, say, she does smoke a bit of Mary Jane). Realistically, she’s following a path trodden by millions of teenagers heading to adulthood, as she pointed out earlier this year:

“Every 18-year-old explores sexuality and experiments and tries things.”

Exactly. Big deal this ain’t.

Is Miley Cyrus fat? Recent pictures of the star have some critics saying that the singer has lost control of her weight. Miley says that not only are the insults hurtful to herself, they are also damaging to girls around the country.

Miley tweeted a photo of an emaciated girl and said:

“By calling girls like me fat, this is what you’re doing to other people…. I love MYSELF & if you could say the same you wouldn’t be sitting on your computer trying to hurt others.”

Miley added:

“I don’t wanna be shaped like a girl I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man won’t mind either.”

And in case anybody needed proof that full figured girls are sexy, Miley tweeted this photo of Marilyn Monroe.

Cyrus’ celebrity friend Demi Lovato showed her support by tweeting:

@MileyCyrus god I love you. SO DO YOU!!! And whoever called you that has it coming. Miss you more than ever… ps SO proud of you for posting that! #curvesareBEAUTIFUL“

Lovato has had her own weight issues in the past. Lovato checked into rehab last year to deal with an eating disorder. At the time, the star said:

“I became very depressed, and my only way of really coping with it was through my eating disorder.  So I just stopped eating.”

Liam Hemsworth, who is currently dating Miley Cyrus, said that he found Cyrus’ curves sexy. In a recent interview he did to promote his new movie, “The Hunger Games,” Hemsworth said:

 “There is this place in Nashville called Steak and Shake, which is pretty much the best food, ever. That is our secret, sexy place to go. When I look over at her when she’s biting into a steak sandwich and there is some steak sauce dripping down her chin, there is nothing sexier than that.”

It seems like only yesterday Miley Cyrus was a Disney sweetheart, hamming it up as the titular pop star in hiding on the channel’s tween blockbuster Hannah Montana.

Then came the tattoos, and the images that circulated of the tween queen sucking on a bong allegedly full of semi-legal smokable Salvia Divinorum- pics that alienated her from showbiz dad (and dad on the show) Billy Ray Cyrus. As with many young actresses coming off the restrictive Disney reservation, Miley appeared to go from “virgin” to “vixen” rather quickly, albeit without the very public struggles former Disney queens Demi Lovato and Lindsay Lohan faced.

Cyrus spoke candidly and in a controlled way about the perception of her in the public eye in a recent interview, expressing confusion about how she had earned the title:

“People have very mixed opinions on me; I’m a great role model, or I’m completely inappropriate for anyone under 13 and I am controversial. I don’t know how I became this… It’s weird. Two complete extremes. I’m not some crazy lady who’s gone off the deep end, because I definitely haven’t.”

Miley said that while she didn’t go out of her way to court controversy, she also doesn’t go out of her way to avoid it:

Cyrus is set to become an aunt soon via brother Trace and fellow Disney star Brenda Song.

Miley Cyrus is all grown up and looking gorgeous on the cover of Prestige Magazine’s September 2011 issue (out now). The Disney star formerly of Hannah Montana can be spotted wearing Gucci with a hot new haircut and backless top.

Speaking to the magazine the 18-year-old singer says she’s still hooked into her Southern roots, revealing:

“I’m not a big fan of LA, I’ve got to be honest. I like being able to work here, but any chance to go back home [to Tennessee], I love it. People really take life for granted in California. It makes me sad sometimes. So I have to give myself that reality check every once in a while and go back home.”

Miley also reveals to Prestige magazine that she doesn’t miss her work on Hannah Montana but that she misses the fun times and family environment the show offered. She says of missing the show:

 “No [laughs]. I miss the family vibe, but I don’t miss the routine at all. I was so bored doing the same thing every day. It’s a lot easier not being on a show, to live my life a little bit and do some of the others thing that I want to do, I don’t have to be back at a certain time. You’re not worrying about a cast schedule or what the producers are going to think.

Cyrus continues that doing the show was a great time and that she was grateful for the opportunity, however she says she warns her 11-year-old sister who wants to act that she should wait a while and not become pigeonholed into one thing for the rest of her life.

In addition to advancing the new album, Billy Ray and his wife Leticia reportedly preparing to be grandparents for the first time, as news that the Cyrus’ eldest son Trace and his girlfriend Brenda Song were pregnant went public yesterday.

While Cyrus hasn’t officially commented on the pregnancy, we’re betting “Grandpa Billy” will have some good advice for the dad-to-be.

“I pray for my kids that they live their life with purpose, knowing that it’s about giving back and finding out what you can do in this world to hopefully make it a better place,” Cyrus told Parade magazine in the past when asked for parenting wisdom.

Miley also talked about her upcoming Australian tour, her first set of concerts in the country down under since she launched her Disney career more than half a century ago.

Apparently Cyrus has decided that people give her too hard of a time in America so she’s not throwing any concerts in the country….translation, her fan base in shrinking. Miley last week told the AP:

“I just think right now America has gotten to a place where I don’t know if they want me to tour or not,” while adding,  “Right now I just want to go to the places where I am getting the most love and Australia and South America have done that for me. Kind of going to the places where I get the most love. (I) don’t want to go anywhere where I don’t feel completely comfortable with it.”

There you have it folks, Miley Cyrus doesn’t feel comfortable in the U.S., in which case Australia or South America are free to keep her, I just feel sorry for whichever country that ends up being.

It has been more than a year since Miley Cyrus famously quit using Twitter (October 2009) with more than 1.1 million followers and now she’s back, but for reasons you may not have expected.

Cyrus rejoined the social networking website on Monday, Tweeting:

“‘Do not fear…the Sheenius is here!’ I’m not gonna lie. I came back to twitter for 2 reasons. My fans and to follow @charliesheen #winning.”

You won’t find Cyrus on her old @mileycyrus account, instead she has taken over the social media account for her @gypsyhearttour. The account however is being used to showcase her private life, including a recent picture of her dog Lila and info about eating dinner with her family.

One of her first tweets also went out to Jaden Smith in which she tweeted:

“Let’s take over the world together! Starting with Disney Land! PS I’m totes laying around eating chocolate watching Hancock.”

So there you have it, Miley is back on Twitter and once again tweeting about absolutely nothing of interest.

Speaking about Blacks “Friday” video, Cyrus told Australia’s Daily Telegraph:

“It should be harder to be an artist,” while adding, “You shouldn’t just be able to put a song on YouTube and go out on tour.”

On Tour? Perhaps Cyrus was jumping to conclusions a bit.

Cyrus as you may recall isn’t a big fan of internet created chatter and after famously quitting Twitter she now says, “I do not tweet, I do not social network, I try to stay out of it,” while also mentioning, “For me, I complain enough about people knowing too much about my private life, so to go out there and exploit myself would be silly and hypocritical of what I stand for.”

For someone who doesn’t want their feelings to be known by everyone, she sure was divulging a lot about people she doesn’t even know during her interview.

The 17-year-old star is preparing for the end of her Disney TV show ‘Hannah Montana’ but as she wants to continue working in movies and music, can’t see the point in finishing her education yet.

She said, “My sister went to college for two years and then decided she wants to be a musician and now she is a musician.

“I just already know what I want to do and if there is ever a time where I want to go back, I can.

“I learned that from my grandma. She went to college at 67 and graduated at 70 and was a teacher from then. She’s 77 now, so you can go whenever you want.”

Miley recently splashed out on a $3.4 million Los Angeles property that she will move into when she turns 18 in November and can’t wait to have her own space.

She added, “I’ve bought my house and I want to decorate it the way I want and I think I worked really hard to be able to have a place that is purely my environment and exactly the way I envision – kind of like a serene, tranquil place that can just be my space.”
