Tickets to Michael Jackson’s Funeral/ Memorial service are set to be offered shortly according to multiple reports.

The Michael Jackson Memorial Service is scheduled at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Tuesday, with possibly two sessions at 10am and 12 noon each.

What we don’t know though at this stage is the cost, if any for the tickets. One unconfirmed report claims tickets will go on sale at $25 each, while other reports suggest that tickets will be offered for free. AP quotes a spokesman at the Center saying that they will be offered for free, but distribution of the tickets hasn’t been finalized. The problem there is that ticket systems are set up to involve a transaction, so offering them for nothing may cause issues.
