Is Omarosa a gold digger? The family of Michael Clarke Duncan apparently has its suspicions.

Duncan, the Green Mile actor, apparently left most of his money to Omarosa Manigault, his fiancee, when he rewrote his will in April 2012 and evidently made her the primary beneficiary. Duncan passed away at age 54 in September 2012 at a Los Angeles hospital. He had suffered a massive heart attack in July.

Duncan’s sister Judy has now hired a lawyer to investigate whether Omarosa exercised what the law calls undue influence to convince him to change the beneficiaries of his estate. In other words, Duncan apparently suspects the reality TV star may have taken advantage of her brother when he allegedly lacked full decisionmaking capacity.

TMZ reported the following: “Judy believes MCD was not of sound mind when he made the changes … because as early as December 2011, the actor was not himself, slurring words and stumbling around. Judy says her suspicions about Omarosa intensified when MCD was hospitalized following his heart attack … telling us Omarosa was fixated on MCD’s money when he was on life support.”

Judy Duncan also claims that the reality television show star has sold off some of Duncan’s personal property without the family’s permission. Omarosa, who is an ordained minister, has denied having any control over Duncan’s estate or his finances.

In a separate legal matter, Omarosa herself is pursuing a lawsuit against La Toya Jackson for allegedly defaming her on The Celebrity Apprentice in connection with Jackson’s comments about the circumstances surrounding Duncan’s death.

Omarosa herself was fired from the show that aired a week ago Sunday night after a boardroom confrontation with Dennis Rodman and Lil’ Jon. In giving Omarosa the axe, Donald Trump declared that he “adored” her and admitted that she was a prime mover in making the original Apprentice (i.e., the non-celebrity version) a big success and helping make Trump a TV star.

Reality show star Omarosa, who was out of town at the time boyfriend Michael Clarke Duncan passed away yesterday morning, had plans with the Green Mile star to wed in a few months, it has been reported.

Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction July 13, and girlfriend Omarosa’s presence when the late-night attack hit literally saved his life. For the six intervening weeks, however, Omarosa was forced to spend her time with Duncan in the hospital as he remained there being treated in the wake of the serious medical incident.

And as you probably know, Duncan died suddenly yesterday morning — and even more sadly, Omarosa was out of town when the actor passed. TMZ snapped Omarosa arriving at the airport in tears last night, and one of the paps filming the Apprentice star as she enters a waiting SUV says:

“Omarosa, our condolences … we’re really sorry for your loss … Michael was a great guy.”

The showbiz spies also report that Omarosa and Michael Clarke Duncan were planning a January wedding, and the site says:

“Michael Clarke Duncan and Omarosa Manigault were secretly engaged and the wedding was set for this January, TMZ has learned … Sources connected with the couple tell us, Michael and Omarosa kept the engagement a secret from the media … only telling very close friends and family about the pending nuptials … We’re told the couple had just started planning for the wedding when Michael went into full cardiac arrest July 13 and was hospitalized until his death.”

Omarosa has not made an official statement to media following Michael Clarke Duncan’s sudden death.

Michael Clarke Duncan, star of the hit movie The Green Mile, had a brush with death after a sudden cardiac arrest, but quick thinking by girlfriend Omarosa Stallworth likely saved the actor’s life.

Michael Clarke Duncan is, as of now, in stable condition. And while fans of the reality TV property The Apprentice may be lukewarm on Omarosa, Duncan is probably thanking her right now after the scary, late-night incident.

The couple, who met in Whole Foods and have been an item since 2010, were chilling at home when Michael Clarke Duncan went into cardiac arrest at around two in the morning, late Thursday or early Friday. Luckily, Omarosa knew CPR, and was able to stabilize her boyfriend until help arrived.

Scant details about the incident or Duncan’s current medical state are known, but TMZ reports:

“MCD was transported to a nearby hospital where he was immediately admitted to the ICU… Sources tell us … Duncan’s heart rate is now stable and Omarosa is by his side. Doctors are performing tests to figure out why the actor’s heart stopped in the first place.”

The incident should give Omarosa some public opinion points, as the star and girlfriend of Michael Clarke Duncan has been trying to shake off her reality show past for nearly a decade.

After being named the genre’s number one bad girl years back by E!, Omarosa said:

“These shows are constructed. They don’t happen, nor do they portray actual reality. They are constructed reality… Historically, blacks have been portrayed negatively on reality television. We don’t come across well. You’ve got to start looking and saying, ‘Is that really how all blacks are?’ Because they are trying to say that this is representative of our people.”

Michael Clarke Duncan is currently in intensive care after his cardiac scare.
