Is anyone ready to hear  Mel Gibson’s ex Oksana sing her heart out? Well, get ready, because according to TMZ Oksana Grigorieva, the woman behind the leaked tapes of Gibson calling her every derogatory name under the sun has signed a deal.

When hooking up with Mel Gibson, the actor tried to executive produce her first album but that ultimately failed to produce anything worthwhile, so now Oksana is going to Hollywood, and she even booked herself at a famous Hollywood lounge to perform this Friday and Saturday night. The lounge, referred to as Gardenia has apparently been around for years and has featured some huge performers.

In the on going lawsuit between Grigorieva and Gibson, Oksana was concerned about getting the rights to all of her music from Gibson, and now we know why! She has dreams of becoming a singer. Oksana secured all the rights to her songs and is now trying to make it on her own as a singer. No one knows for sure what genre her music will be, or if she’s even good, but by Saturday there should be some reviews buzzing about.

It seems like the mother of two has her hands full. Just six days ago she was photographed looking pregnant with her third child. Her first child Alexander is the son of popular actor Timothy Dolton, and her second child Lucia is the daughter of Mel Gibson, whom she’s had a turbulent rocky relationship with for months on end now.

Mel Gibson is sitting on the opposite side of the juror booth from where he has become accustomed, taking part in a criminal trial as a prospective juror.

The Hollywood hitmaker was summoned to court this week and according to reports he was acting pretty normal, talking on his cell phone outside the courtroom while reading over a script and occasionally talking business..

A TMZ reporter who happened to run int o Mel says he was also chatting up some of the women in the hallway and even took pictures with his potential fellow jurors.

Gibson was dressed down in a dark sport coat, button-up shirt and jeans along with a baseball cap.

According to onlookers Mel Gibson was acting just like the rest of the jurors and was receiving no special treatent.

Mel would make a great juror, he’s definitely become intimately familiar with how jury’s operate in the last several years.

Los Angeles, California- Mel Gibson is only the beginning of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy James Mee’s case against the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, but without his hateful, anti-Semitic rant, it is contended, Mee’s career would have gone a lot more smoothly.

It all started in the summer of 2006, when Gibson was pulled over and arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated in Malibu. Mee was one of the arresting officers, and after Gibson threatened Mee several times, he asked the policeman, “are you a Jew?” and stated that Jews were responsible for “all the wars in the world.” The statements were a traffic treasure trove for then-fledgling gossip site TMZ, and Gibson quickly apologized. (A subsequent lengthy investigation cleared Mee of allegations of leaking arrest information to TMZ, which the officer said prevented him from ascending ranks.)

Since that incident, Gibson has been a pariah in Hollywood- it wasn’t the sole nail in the coffin of the Aussie’s career, but the hateful tirade was indelibly etched in the minds of filmgoers and studios. But the news story did not only affect Gibson, if Mee’s case is accurate- and a Los Angeles judge, while expressing some doubt Mee can successfully pursue the claim, believes there is enough evidence for the case to be heard by a jury.

Mee alleges he was chided for including the statements in the incident report, then ostracized at his job and even prevented from obtaining a promotion. Although Mee is still employed, he no longer works the beat seeking out drunk drivers in Malibu. Mee’s attorney Yael Trock commented on the judge’s decision, reminding press:

“Mel Gibson is not the issue here. The issue is that the department mistreated Deputy Mee, who dared to arrest Mel Gibson and treated him like any other person.”

A trial in Mee’s case is set for February 14th.

Mel Gibson was officially divorced in a Los Angeles courtroom on Friday and it’s being reported that his ex-wife Robyn Denise Moore will collect half of his $850 million fortune. He $425 million settlement is the highest amount ever paid in a Hollywood divorce.

Married for 30 years with seven children the couple didn’t have a prenup when they divorced which under California law provides Robyn with 50 percent of the couples full estate.

While Gibson had various successful movies and TV projects over his career it’s the $600 million he earned for producing The Passion of the Christ that provided for a bulk of the divorce settlement.

Already transferred to Robyn are two Malibu homes worth a combined $22.5 million.

In the meantime Robyn will receive half of every residual check Mel Gibson receives for the rest of her life for any movies and other projects he was involved in when they were married.

Mel Gibson and Robyn Denise Moore began divorce proceeding after Mel Gibson began an affair with and fathered a child alongside Oksana Grigorieva. The divorce was filed in a sworn statement by Robyn in July 2010. During the divorce she called Mel Gibson a “wonderful and loving father.”

The couple met in the 1970s when Robyn at the time was a dental assistant.

The couple, who married in Australia in 1980 and have seven children together, separated in 2006 after Gibson’s infamous DUI arrest in Malibu, California, during which he allegedly made anti-semitic remarks that generated headlines around the world.

In April 2009, Robyn Gibson — who is now using her maiden name, Robyn Moore –filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The filing came a month after the media released photos of Gibson apparently hugging Oksana Grigorieva, with whom he bore a child in October of that year.

According to the divorce papers, Moore sought joint physical and legal custody over their son Thomas, as well as spousal support and attorney’s fees. Thomas, now 12 years old, is the only minor among Gibson and Moore’s seven children.

“Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to do so,” the couple said in a joint statement.

While no details of the Gibson divorce settlement were released, the actor was previously estimated to be worth $850 million, and he owns several properties in the wealthy, seaside enclave of Malibu, outside Los Angeles.

With that being said, and because the couple didn’t have a prenuptial agreement, Robyn, 55, will walk away with half of Mel’s fortune in addition to half of every future check Gibson receives for the remainder of his life.

Despite the fact that Mel and Robyn’s divorce may go down as one of the most expensive settlements in Hollywood history, Gibson’s parting with Grigorieva has made more headlines.

They filed for restraining orders against one another in 2010, and a domestic-violence investigation was launched by Los Angeles police in July of that year.

In August of this year — following a bitter custody battle over their daughter, Lucia — Gibson agreed to pay Grigorieva $750,000.

Mel Gibson appears to be getting his act back together, at least that’s what a California judge said on Thursday when the actor’s progress went under review.

Judge Stephanie Sautner (the same judge who has had the pleasure of dealing with Lindsay Lohan) gave Gibson a figurative A+ for the work he has done to overcome his own demons.

According to the judge Gibson completed twice as much counseling that was recommended by the court and remained on track with his 12-step program.

Mel Gibson is currently on informal probation after pleading no contest to misdemeanor battery against Oksana Grigorieva in March 2011.

Is Mel Gibson having another kid? The father of 8 could be the father of Laura Bellizzi’s child. Bellizzi, who is currently four months pregnant, says that Gibson is the father, but the Brave Heart star says that it isn’t true.

A source close to Gibson said that it would be “physically impossible” for Gibson to be responsible for Bellizzi’s pregnancy. Bellizzi’s father also says that the claim is bogus. Bellizzi’s father, said:

“I can guarantee it’s not Mel Gibson. I know my daughter and I know she’s pregnant. She’s not saying anything about Mel Gibson being the father though, that’s not true.”

Apparently, the only person claiming that Bellizzi is pregnant with Mel’s child is an unnamed source close to the reality star.

The source told Star Magazine:

“Laura’s being as secretive as she can be about it. But she’s really showing now, and people are beginning to ask the question: ‘Who’s the daddy?’”

The source claims that Mel and Bellizzi hit it off last Summer and that they have seen each other as recently as June in Hollywood.

“Laura and Mel met through some mutual friends in Malibu, and the chemistry was instant.”

411 reports that Bellizzi appeared on VH1’s “Secrets of Aspen” in 2010.

During last night’s 25th Annual American Cinematheque Award Ceremony, actor Robert Downey Jr. gave attendees a bit of a shock when he asked everyone in attendance to forgive Mel Gibson for his transgressions.

“I asked Mel to present this award for me for a reason,” Downey Jr. said after Gibson presented him with the American Cinematheque award. “When I couldn’t get sober, he told me not to give up hope and encouraged me to find my faith. It didn’t have to be his or anyone else’s as long as it was rooted in forgiveness. And I couldn’t get hired, so he cast me in the lead of a movie that was actually developed for him. He kept a roof over my head and food on the table and most importantly he said if I accepted responsibility for my wrongdoing and embraced that part of my soul that was ugly – hugging the cactus he calls it — he said that if I hugged the cactus long enough, I’d become a man.”

Afterwards, he pleaded for forgiveness for Mel Gibson, saying “So anyway on this special occasion and in light of the recent holidays including Columbus Day, I would ask that you join me, unless you are completely without sin in which case you picked the wrong f—ing industry, in forgiving my friend his trespasses and offering him the same clean slate you have me, allowing him to continue his great and ongoing contribution to our collective art without shame. He’s hugged the cactus long enough.”

Gibson recently came under fire when it was revealed he was working on a film about Judah Maccabee, the famous Jewish hero whose story inspired Hanukkah. Rabbi Marvin Hier of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles considers Gibson’s involvement “preposterous”, saying:

“I think it’s, quite frankly, preposterous,” he said. “Judah Maccabee is one of the greatest heroes in Jewish history. Mel Gibson is an anti-Semite. He has made anti-Semitic remarks in the past. I don’t know what Warner Bros. was thinking.”

After hearing that Mel Gibson is working on a movie about Judah Maccabee, a famous Jewish hero whose victories brought about Hanukkah, it was easy to assume that Gibson was doing it as some form of reconciliation for his anti-Semitic remarks.

If sources close to TMZ are to believed, however, that’s not true. The sources claim that Gibson is not doing it as a form of reconciliation because he doesn’t hate Jewish people to begin with. The sources point to the fact that Gibson’s publicist is Jewish, his lawyers are Jewish, and he has “many” Jewish friends.

So why, then, is Gibson working on the movie? According to the sources, Gibson has been wanting to work on the film for “decades”. He believes that telling the story of Maccabee will bring to light corruption in the modern church and, as a result, force change.

Many still remain critical over Gibson being tied to the movie, however. Rabbi Marvin Hier of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles is one such critic. He told CNN:

“I think it’s, quite frankly, preposterous,” he said. “Judah Maccabee is one of the greatest heroes in Jewish history. Mel Gibson is an anti-Semite. He has made anti-Semitic remarks in the past. I don’t know what Warner Bros. was thinking.”

Representative of Gibson responded to the comments, pointing out that there are no plans for Gibson to be starring in the film in any capacity – only directing.

Oscar winner Mel Gibson appears to be over his anti-Semitism, the actor is said to be working with Warner Bros. to create a jewish hero epic about the life of Judah Maccabee. Judah’s ancient victory is celebrated by Hanukkah. You may recall that in 2006 the actor was arrested on DUI charges and was caught on film screaming anti-Jewish remarks.

Joe Eszterhas will pen the screenplay while Gibson may choose to direct the film or possibly act in the movie after he has approved the screenplay. Gibson, 55, would likely play the part of priest Mattathias, the father of Maccabee.

According to the Gibson camp he has been fascinated with the project for years and at one point he was looking at the movie as a follow-up project for The Passion of the Christ. The follow-up idea would make sense since Passion earned $612 million in worldwide box office, making it the highest grossing R-rated films of all time.

After last summers constant spats with former girlfriend and baby mama Oskana Grigorieva it will be interesting to see if Gibson’s religion based movie will still garner an audience, especially from the Jewish community.

Gibson’s reps say the movie would attempt to resonate with audiences in the same way Braveheart  did by focusing on a strong lead hero who helps his forces develop the courage and skill they needed to rise up against tyranny and defend their lands.

After months of sparring in court, the pair – who split last year after a three-year relationship – reached a preliminary agreement last week regarding their daughter Lucia, the terms of which were announced today by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Peter D. Lichtman

In a deal which grants him joint custody of his daughter, Gibson, 55, has agreed to pay his ex-girlfriend $750,000 – which will be made in three payments, with the final payment occurring in Sept. 2016 if the agreement is not breached.

According to the Judge, the six-figure total agreed upon is equal to the amount in financial support that Gibson is required to pay his first wife, Robyn, for the care of their seven children together.

Grigorieva, 40, and 22-month-old Lucia will be allowed to live in the suburban Los Angeles home until the child’s 18th birthday. At that time, the house will be sold and the proceeds placed in a trust for Lucia.

In addition, the settlement also stipulates that neither party can produce any books, articles, “or additional tapes” about their relationship – a reference to leaked telephone conversations in which an enraged Gibson screamed at Grigorieva.

Following the reading of the settlement, the Braveheart star stood up and said:

“I’d like to say thanks, your honor, for bringing this matter to a reasonable conclusion.”

Earlier this year, Gibson pled no contest to a misdemeanor battery charge relating to a January 2010 argument he had with Grigorieva. The actor was accused of striking Grigorieva and was sentenced to 36 months probation and ordered to attend 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling.

The acrimonious split between Mel Gibson and former partner Oksana Grigorieva has been playing out in court for the better part of a year, but it seems relations between the pair haven’t gotten any smoother in the months they’ve been separated.

The actor and the Eastern European musician never married, but are parents to a two-year-old girl, Lucia. Grigorieva is reportedly working on getting a massive settlement from the formerly A-list actor, claiming among other things that Gibson’s behavior has emotionally traumatized her son Alexander. Of the bust-up in January, Gibson claims that the allegations- which have put a damper on his already sputtering career- have been taken far out of context:

“You have to put it all in the proper context of being in an irrationally, heated discussion at the height of a breakdown, trying to get out of a really unhealthy relationship.

“It’s one terribly, awful moment in time, said to one person, in the span of one day and doesn’t represent what I truly believe or how I’ve treated people my entire life.”

The fight in question occurred in January, and Grigorieva claims that Gibson screamed abuse at her son, terrifying him and driving him under the bed to hide. During the argument, Gibson is said to have struck Grigorieva so hard two teeth were knocked out of her mouth. Grigorieva also claims that her former lover threw Alexander “onto a table,” but Gibson denies the allegations.

In addition to the damages for alleged emotional abuse and trauma, Grigorieva is seeking a large sum for the future care of Lucia. Gibson is currently undergoing intensive court ordered anger management and domestic violence education. Following the split, he also tried to get his career back on track, but audiences have not warmed to him.

Gibson is currently given three overnight stays every two weeks, however he is no longer satisfied with the custody agreement the court handed down between himself and ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

The custody agreement is already rather generous for Mr. Gibson considering tapes of the actor revealed him screaming at Lucia’s mother, while he allegedly threatened to bury Oksana in his rose garden.

No judgement has been given at this time while a new hearing has been scheduled for September. According to reports if Mel is granted what he is requesting Lucia’s time will nearly be split down the middle between mommy and daddy.

Before Mel was given his current visitation rights he had tried to strip Oksana of her parental rights, while asking that she only be given visitation rights, it’s funny how things have worked out since November 2010.

The twins, separated in a painstaking 23-hour procedure at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center back in 2002, have always been close to the Gibsons, and the former couple agreed to make a rare public appearance together to spend their birthday celebrations with them.

“We’re all involved in Josie and Teresa’s lives,” Mel told PEOPLE magazine, referring to the girls by their nicknames. “It’s incredible seeing Josie and Teresa do so well. Listening to Josie speak, you think, ‘Man, this is the happiest kid I’ve ever seen.’ “

While Mel and Robyn arrived separately, PEOPLE magazine reported that the 55-year-old actor, who was snapped blowing a raspberry at Teresa, went over to say hello to his estranged wife and to wiggle the toes of their 5-month-old grandson.

Later on in the event the former couple were honored for their support of the charity, which provides life-changing surgical care for children worldwide.

Of working with the organization, Gibson said:

“It gives you perspective.” He elaborated, “It’s one of my faults, you tend to focus on yourself a lot. Which is not always the healthiest thing for your psyche or anything else. If you take a little time out to think about other people, it’s good. It’s uplifting.”

The guest cameo spot for Hangover 2 that was originally given to Mel Gibson, before being ripped away by cast member demands and handed to Liam Neeson might just be cursed. After movie director Todd Phillips realized the scenes shot with Neeson didn’t work he asked the actor to come back in and re-shoot, a request Neeson couldn’t agree with.

Neeson at the time of the re-shoot request had already begun shooting on Clash Of The Titans 2 and his schedule doesn’t allow for time to shoot other films. Realizing that the actors current cameo would not fit in the film Phillips has been forced to look elsewhere.

So who will be taking over the role? Nick Cassavetes is now set to shoot the reworked scenes, although given the cursed nature of the role we might see three or four more actors pass through the production of what is sure to be the funniest movie of 2011.

TMZ is reporting that Mel Gibson crashed his 2008 Maserati last night in Malibu, but the embattled actor doesn’t appear to have been drinking and driving before the accident.

Loose-lipped “law enforcement sources” leaked the info to the gossip blog, saying Gibson’s car drifted before hitting a rocky spot on Malibu Canyon Road:

“Gibson told officers in the field he did not know how the car drifted out of the lane and into the hillside.” (CHP Officer Leland) Tang said his officers followed up by asking Gibson if he was on a cell phone and he said no.  Tang adds officers also asked Gibson if he had dozed off “but he did not give a firm ‘yes’ or ‘no’.”  Gibson just repeated several times, “I don’t know how the car left the roadway.”

A bit after the original post went up, TMZ took pains to address the “unknown reasons.” Officer Tang (who incidentally sounds like a porn character) followed up saying that the information was not meant to insinuate that Gibson was at fault in any way, that no citations were issued and no charges were being considered in the matter.

The bitter public feud between Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva has gotten even more salacious and repugnant, as the much maligned actor has been caught on tape admitting to physically abusing his former girlfriend- while she was holding their 8-month-old child.

Gibson has been in the news lately for his racist rants aimed at Grigorieva, and a taped message from Gibson to the woman was released where he said:

“You’re an embarrassment to me.

“You look like a f***ing pig in heat, and if you get raped by a pack of n***ers, it will be your fault.”

And added:

“How dare you act like such a b***h when I have been so f***ing nice.

“I am going to come and burn the f***ing house down… but you will blow me first.”

Not surprisingly, the tirades didn’t do much to rehabilitate Gibson’s already tarnished image, and a newly released rant is not going to do the actor any favors. According to RadarOnline, on the recording, Gibson unabashedly admits to striking Grigorieva while she held their infant daughter Lucia:

On tape, a teary Oksana is heard asking Mel, “What kind of a man is that who would hit a woman when she is holding a child in her hands, hitting her twice in the face?

“What kind of a man is that?” the Russian musician repeats.

The Braveheart star responds: “You know what — you f**cking deserved it.”

Gibson’s recent rants are not the only instances of racist, sexist or otherwise-ist behavior the star has exhibited in recent years. He railed against Jews at a 2006 traffic stop for a DUI, and called a female officer “sugartits.”

Mel Gibson has been trying to unload his Connecticut mansion for a couple of years now. His original asking price back in 2007 was $39.7 Million but after a few open houses and no offers, and of course the arse dropping out of the economy, he’s dropped the asking price by about 25% to $29.7 Million.

All kidding aside, this is a breathtaking property.

The 77 acre property was originally called the Old Mill Farm and was designed by noted architect, Charles Lewis Bowman. Construction began back in 1926 and it was built for G.L. Ohrstrom, who loved horses.

The main living space covers nearly 16,000 sq ft. and has 15 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, a tennis court, a private pond, a landscaped oval driveway and a soaring cathedral ceilings.

The grounds, which were created by landscape designer James Doyle, include formal gardens and a maze. There is also a terrace pool, greenhouse, stable, staff houses and log cabin on the property.
