Megan Fox doesn’t want to be like Angelina Jolie.

The sexy ‘Jennifer’s Body’ actress has frequently been compared to the ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ star since her breakthrough role in 2007’s ‘Transformers’, but despite the brunettes’ similar looks and penchant for wild statements, the younger actress insists they are poles apart .

Megan, 23, said, “People compare me to Angelina Jolie, and she’s so serious and stoic. I’m the opposite.

“I’m not a tigress like Angelina. Of course, people want me to be. But I want to be the contradiction of that.”

Megan, who was caught in a furore after she compared ‘Transformers’ director Michael Bay to Nazi party leader Adolf Hitler, blamed the Angelina comparisons for people taking her too seriously.

She said, “When I do interviews, I say things that I think are hysterical. But because we live in a world of sound bites, you’re not allowed to have a sense of humor.

“Sarcasm doesn’t translate in print at all. And neither does self-deprecating humor.”

Megan also said she had doubts about her own acting skills, unlike Oscar-winner Angelina.

She told the New York Times newspaper, “I don’t know if I’m talented, I don’t know what I can do or can’t do. I had no skills at all. As a child, I had it in my head that I was supposed to be doing this, and then I did it. But I didn’t know what I was doing.”

The ‘Transformers’ beauty has an etching of the legendary sex symbol on her forearm and says looking at it gives her the attitude needed to make it in the movie world.

She said, “I really admire Marilyn Monroe but I would never try to emulate her. I got the tattoo as a warning. It warns me not to let myself be treated so badly by the film industry so that it breaks me down.”

Megan, who is often voted the world’s sexiest woman, also said she experiences sexism on movie sets and is judged just because she is a woman.

She added to Germany’s Bunte magazine: “I don’t feel I’m treated equally. If you are a woman and arrive on the set and you are introverted, because you are shy or self conscious and you don’t embrace everyone who works on the set you are regarded as an arrogant diva or even as a cocky b***h. If men are introverted it’s cool. They are considered to be pensive, valuable method actors. What a double standard!”

Michael Bay Announces 2011 Release Date For Transformers 3. Calls Out Megan Fox

Michael Bay, the director of the Transformer movies announced on his website that the newest installment, Transformers 3, will hit theaters on July 1st 2011, well ahead of the expected 2012 date.

Bay also responded to claims by his leading lady Megan Fox that “working with Michael Bay is not about an acting experience” and that her and costar Shia LaBeouf “almost die when we make a ‘Transformers’ movie… He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do.”

In response to her comments Bay had this to say:

“Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture.” He goes on to say, “Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.”

On a side note, apparently the director of Jennifer’s Body also asked Megan to not act in any convincing type of manner, perhaps she should look for better scripts or just learn how to act.

Megan Fox Bullied for Acting Ambition

Megan Fox was targeted by school bullies because she wanted to be an actress.

The ‘Jennifer’s Body’ star made her ambitions clear when she was growing up, but it didn’t go down well with her female classmates.

The 23-year-old beauty is quoted as saying, “There were some evil girls in my school and I went to Christian high school. I was fifteen and everybody knew that my aspiration in life was to become an actress.

“One girl came to school on Halloween in a black leather catsuit and everyone thought she was cat woman. She answered, ‘No I am Megan Fox.’ She was making fun of me.

“I didn’t say anything to her. I was really shy.”

Megan, who is regularly voted the world’s sexiest woman, has previously said she found it easier to bond with boys than girls when she was growing up.

She said, “I’ve always gotten along better with boys. That rubbed some people the wrong way. I was not, ever for a second, popular. Everyone hated me, and I was a total outcast, my friends were always guys, I have a very aggressive personality, and girls didn’t like me for that. I’ve had only one great girlfriend my whole life.”

The ‘Jennifer’s Body’ actress lives like a “recluse” to avoid reading negative comments because she can’t cope with criticism.

The 23-year-old star said, “There are those who have a Google Alert on themselves and read everything everyone says and then there are those who pretend it isn’t happening.

“I’m one of the latter. I could never pore over what’s said about me. It wouldn’t work. I’d be a complete lunatic, drug-addled and out of my mind. Instead I stay in and ignore it all. I’m actually kind of a recluse.”

Megan has also come to terms with the perception that she is nothing but a pretty face.

Even though she insists she isn’t attractive, the brunette beauty is certain her acting talent will outshine her looks before long.

She explained to Total Film magazine, “I’m totally aware that I’ve never given anyone a reason to praise me for my talents. So to sit here and complain, ‘Why don’t people recognize me as an actress?’ would be outrageous.

“It’s my responsibility to prove to them that they should. I haven’t done that yet, so I’m not going to whine about it.”

She told People magazine, “I think initially it’s sort of overwhelming because little girls are very much exposed to sexuality through the media and the entertainment industry and advertisements. So when you realize that you have the same power that you’ve watched women who’ve come before you have, it is frightening and you don’t know what to do with it.”

“I don’t think you ever get comfortable with it. It’s a strange, an almost supernatural thing.”

However, the 23-year-old beauty – who has an on/off romance with actor Brian Austin Green – has not always been popular with men.

She explained, “I was not ‘the sl*t’ in high school. I was not an outcast but I didn’t have a ton of friends. I got picked on, and I ate lunch in the bathroom because I was afraid of being picked on in the cafeteria. I was a loner, and I think that’s OK.

“I think it’s perfectly acceptable not to run with cliques.”

Megan recently admitted she finds it “awful” how women fight for male attention.

She said, “Girls are awful. But I think girls are awful because of the way society is set up and that we’re forced to constantly be in competition for male attention. I think we’re raised the wrong way with the wrong standards and our fathers raise us wrong. And so we search the rest of our lives for boys to pay attention to validate us.”

Megan Fox has admitted turning to self-harm when she was growing up as she was so unhappy.

Asked if she had ever cut herself, Megan replied: “Yeah. But I don’t want to elaborate. I would never call myself a cutter. Girls go through different phases when they’re growing up. When they’re miserable they do different things, whether it’s an eating disorder or they dabble in cutting.

“If I did talk about it, I’d be taking on a role-model status, and I’d have to choose my words very carefully, and I’d have to make sure I reveal it in a specific way, and I don’t want to do it.”

When quizzed about whether she had ever struggled with an eating disorder, Megan said: “Not that I would talk about.”

The ‘Jennifer’s Body’ star – who is dating actor Brian Austin Green – added she still struggles with feelings of “self-loathing”, and finds it hard to comprehend how successful he has become.

Although she insists her doubts do not negatively impact on her lifestyle too much, she admits they can make her tough to be around.

She told Rolling Stone magazine: “I’m really insecure about everything. I never think I’m worthy of anything. I have a sick feeling of being mocked all the time. I have a lot of self-loathing.

“Self-loathing doesn’t keep me from being happy. But that doesn’t mean I don’t struggle. I am very vulnerable. But I can be aggressive, hurtful, domineering and selfish, too. I’m emotionally unpredictable and all over the place. I’m a control freak.”

Megan Fox has vowed never to make a sex tape

“Everything you say gets judged, everything you do gets judged. Literally all I have left are my private parts and I don’t want to share them with the world. I’d like to keep them private. That’s why they’re called that!”

However, Megan isn’t too prudish to indulge in a steamy lesbian kiss with her ‘Jennifer’s Body’ co-star Amanda Seyfried, and the film’s writer Diablo Cody is dismayed the smooch will ultimately be labelled “gratuitous”.

She said: “All right, if the two protagonists of the film were a guy and a girl and in a particularly tense moment, they shared a kiss, no one would say it was gratuitous.

“But the fact that they’re women means it’s some kind of stunt. But it was intended to be something profound and meaningful to me and to Karyn Kusama, the director.

“Obviously we knew people were going to totally sensationalise it.”

Megan Fox is to play Catwoman in the next Batman film

Megan Fox has reportedly signed on to appear in the sequel to ‘The Dark Knight’ alongside Christian Bale and Sir Michael Caine.

The movie will be directed by Christopher Nolan and is due for release in 2011.

Megan will be following in the footsteps of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry, who have both donned the iconic leather catsuit in past films.

But the casting announcement is likely to anger Angelina Jolie, who was rumoured to be in negotiations for the role.

It’s not the first role Megan – who bears a striking resemblance to the ‘Changeling’ star – has taken from Angelina.

Megan is favourite to play Lara Croft – the role that made Angelina famous – in a new ‘Tomb Raider’ film.

Angelina played the heroine in ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’ and ‘Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life’ and was nominated for a Golden Raspberry award for Worst Actress for her appearance in the original movie.

Megan Fox isn’t interested in becoming the next Bond girl. The 23-year-old beauty was reportedly lined up by producers to play one of the suave British spy’s conquests but she didn’t believe the part would further her career.

A source said: “Megan might be interested in a villainous role if it was a central part of the movie but she is not interested in being just your usual type of Bond girl.

“She did consider an approach but she won’t be doing James Bond while she’s
so busy with other projects. She might consider it again in a few years time.”

Earlier this year, Megan – who recently denied claims she will replace Angelina Jolie in the new ‘Tomb Raider’ movie – was linked to the role of She-Hulk.

The ‘Transformers’ star is favourite to portray the giant green female in the big screen adaptation of the popular comic book series about The Incredible Hulk’s cousin.

A source said: “‘She-Hulk’ comics are popular so it’s only natural that the
character makes the transition to the big screen. “The idea is to make She-Hulk sexier but even more savage than the Hulk, which is why Megan is the big favourite for the lead. She’ll be green of course and will have to hang on to a few more pieces of clothes than the male version when she transforms!”

Megan Fox has the body most envied by women – The ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ actress’ curvy shape topped Heat magazine’s Body Envy 2009 survey.

The 23-year-old brunette beauty beat Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole – who has previously been criticized for being too thin – into second place.

Julian Linley, editor of the magazine, said: “We’ve always known that Megan Fox is a hit with men, but we were surprised at how quickly she has made an impact on women – they consider her to have the most covetable celebrity body.

“It’s really refreshing to see Cheryl Cole beating curvy bikini goddess Kelly Brook to second place, and for the Brits to make the top 10, alongside Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie and Beyonce Knowles.”

Model-turned-presenter Kelly came in third place, with Beyonce and Angelina in fourth and fifth position respectively. Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Lopez, glamour model Katie Price
and Rihanna made up the rest of the top 10.

Readers taking part in the survey said the perfect celebrity body would be made up of Megan’s face, Jennifer Aniston’s arms, Angelina’s breasts, Beyonce’s curves and Kelly’s legs.

So it looks like Megan Fox’s crush on Korean Pop Star, Rain, may not pan out for the Transformers actress like she expected it to.

Fox took a liking to the Asian superstar and actively persued him, even to the extent of formally inviting him on a dinner date via his management company. Imagine how deflated she must have felt when the company got back to her with Rain’s prompt “I’m not interested.”

This will be an ego bruise for Megan Fox, who publicly expressed a fancy for Raine, saying of her persuit: “I’m really on his situation now. I’m trying to fix this up. I’m working hard.”

I guess now she has an idea how “Rose Boy” felt.

Director Michael Bay has taken Megan Fox down a peg over her suggestion that his movies don’t offer acting opportunities.

“Well, that’s Megan Fox for you. She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do. You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, ‘Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it,’” Bay said in an interview this week.

“I 100% disagree with her. Nick Cage wasn’t a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck before I put him in Armageddon. Shia LaBeouf wasn’t a big movie star before he did Transformers — and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, from Bad Boys. Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers. I like to think that I’ve had some luck in building actors’ careers with my films.”
