Ferris Bueller is back and he’s selling Hondas. Matthew Broderick reprises his famous role in a 2012 Super Bowl Commercial for the new Honda CR-V.

Broderick revisits some famous scenes from Ferris Bueller but with a few interesting changes.

Instead of Cameron getting lost in a painting at the Chicago Art Institute, Ferris loses himself at the Natural History Museum in the eyes of a walrus. Instead of singing ”Danke Schoen” during a parade, he sings a Chinese song during a New Year’s celebration. And instead of going to a baseball game he watches some horse races.

Ferris does almost get caught by his boss (instead of his principle), he does give his keys to a devious valet, and he does utter some of the movie’s most famous lines.

Ferris says:

“How can I be expected to work on a day like today,” and “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while. You could miss it.”

If you grew up as a teenager in the 1980′s you likely remember one shining gem of a movie from 1986, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, not only did Bueller resonate with fans of that generation, he continued to be a favorite for years to come and now Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) will return for a special Super Bowl appearance.

Chuckachucka2012 on Thursday posted a 10-second teaser of a commercial that is said to be preparing to air during the Super Bowl in which Matthew Broderick throws open the curtains and utters his famous line (slightly altered:

“How can I handle work on a day like today?”

The screen then quickly flashed “2.5.12″ which just happened to be the same day as the Super Bowl.

At this time there isn’t much to go on but the video’s caption does point to more info arriving on Monday where it reads:

“We hate to be such a tease, but on a day like today, we just have to. Stick it out until the Super Bowl, or take a ‘day off’ on Monday and catch the big reveal.”

Now if Matthew Broderick would just deliver us a grown up version of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off I would be in grown up heaven.

On The View Tuesday morning, Barbara Walters announced that Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, Matthew Broderick, are the proud parents of twin girls.

The surrogate mother the couple chose to have the babies gave birth to twin girls earlier Tuesday at the East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Broderick and Parker were at the hospital for the birth which went without complications.

The couple announced in April that they were expecting twins.

The surrogate mother has recently been the focus of several paparazzi and tabloids and has suffered harassment on several occasions, with the most recent being a plot by two local police officers to get pictures of the inside of the woman’s house.

Sarah Jessica Parker is said to be leaving Matthew Broderick after a failed attempt to save their marriage after Broderick was caught cheating on her last year.

An insider tells Star magazine, “Sarah Jessica is determined to get her own place and bring down the curtains on her marriage.

“They’re essentially living separate lives.

“The truth is, Sarah and Matthew still do love and care about each other, they just aren’t in love, and they don’t want to waste any more time trying to repair something that’s irreparable.”

Is Matthew Broderick a cheating cad? Was Sarah Jessica Parker trying to get hotter after she got wise to his antics with someone half his age? Well, that’s what Star is leading me to believe, since they published their sensational account of Matthew’s tryst’s with a “stunning redhead,” according to a “source.”

After meeting in a bar, Matthew began text messaging the 25-year-old youth counselor, says the woman’s pal. Soon after, the insider claims, they began seeing each other and things got passionate quickly when they met at the Manhattan townhouse of a showbiz friend.
