Why let a game of football get between a man and his food is the question Jet’s quarterback Mark Sanchez pondered when he was caught eating a hot dog during the Raiders v Jets game Sunday.

Privacy isn’t something you can rely on when you’re sitting on the sideline at a big game, and Mark Sanchez eating a hot dog caught the eye on the TV crew on hand during a fourth quarter time out.

The Mark Sanchez eating hot dog video shows Sanchez putting some mustard on the hot dog before eating it. He tries to hide the hot dog, but thanks to the marvels of zoom technology viewers got to see the whole thing close up.

Mark Sanchez has since apologized, claiming that he had not been feeling well before the game and had not eaten much, and because he felt “a little queasy” he needed something to eat.

The hot dog eating made no difference in the end, and Sanchez was probably safe in tucking in: the Jets won 38-0. The Mark Sanchez eating hot dog video as follows:
