Miley Cyrus, the former Hannah Montana of Disney fame is all grown up and about to do her first on screen sex scene.  In the movie LOL, Laughing out Loud, Miley stars with Demi Moore in a story about a teenager and her mother.

Miley plays Lola, a rebellious teen.  In the movie she goes on an unexpected trip to Paris where she loses her virginity.  In a scene from the movie (video below) she goes from being in bed with one man, to kissing another and then ending the scene kissing another girl.

Miley has recently been the center of a lot of controversy for her adult behavior.  She seems to be trying to tell the whole world that she is all grown up and not Hannah Montana anymore.

A few months ago Miley was photographed smoking a bong she claimed was filled with the legal hallucinogen Salvia. She has also made may references to being a big time pot smoker.

Just last week she was photographed giving some heated action to a cake she gave to her boyfriend that was shaped like a giant Penis.

All of this behavior has caused the The Culture and Media Institute, which claims to “preserve and help restore America’s culture, character, traditional values, and morals against the assault of the liberal media elite,” has criticized Miley for her “disgusting behavior and has been quoted as saying,

“[Miley has]become the epitome of the anti-role model for young girls.”

I don’t know how much money developer Zynga has made from FarmVille, but it must be a crapload because it’s somehow encouraged Lady Gaga to sign up to a Gaga/FarmVille crossover thing called GagaVille. *checks date* Nope, still not April 1st.

Apparently, this tie-in will see a Gaga-themed farm become available within FarmVille. This will introduce crystals, unicorns, and sheep on motorbikes to the Facebook game. GagaVille launches on May 17th, and users get early access to tracks and can purchase $25 Zynga Game Cards that include a free download of the album and exclusive bonus tracks.

There’ll also be Gaga-inspired items in other Zynga titles such as CityVille, FrontierVille, Mafia Wars, Zynga Poker, Café World, Treasure Isle, YoVille, PetVille, and Vampire Wars.

“I want to celebrate and share ‘Born This Way’ with my little monsters in a special way that’s never been done before,” explained Lady “I’m an artist, not a celebrity” Gaga. “Zynga has created a magical place in FarmVille where my fans can come play, and be the first to listen to the album.”

The somewhat casual and oft-maligned vernacular of the internet has had a bit of an influence on the latest set of updates to the Oxford English Dictionary.

The “premiere dictionary of the English language” has added a slew of words typically associated with texting or chatting on the internet, ones often used in social media contexts like on Facebook or Twitter. “Heart” got a new officially application in the OED, as a verb denoted by the symbol “♥.” (As in, “I ♥ bubble tea.”) LOL was added as being “strongly associated with the language of electronic communications,” and defined as “laughing out loud,” beating earlier incarnations. (The term apparently used to mean “little old lady,” and has caused some confusion in standing in for “lots of love”- as in, “sorry your grandma died in a fiery plane crash, LOL.”)

“Muffin top” also made the cut, as well as “FYI,” a term generally associated with workplaces and dating back about seventy years from the first known use.
