Despite solid reports last week that NBC has canceled Lipstick Jungle, it would appear the show may have now be uncanceled.

Unlike My Own Worst Enemy which was canceled at the same time, Lipstick Jungle fans have rallied around the show with online petitions and calls to send lipstick to NBC Execs. Ultimately though its numbers that count, and the news of Lipstick Jungle’s demise may have been a promotion the show needed, with ratings up 50% for last Friday’s episode.

Quoted in the New York Times, Co-chairman of NBC Entertainment Ben Silverman said the network will definitely finish the 13 episodes that it originally ordered — it has four more episodes to go — and may order more if the show “grows more.”
