The rehab center employee who accused actress Lindsay Lohan of assaulting her during her stay in rehab (she is expected to be released in January) has been fired for publicly disclosing information about the incident to gossip blogs, Entertainment Weekly is reporting.

Holland told TMZ that Lohan allegedly returned to the clinic intoxicated and refused a breathalyzer test on December 12th. After becoming belligerent, Lohan is said to have engaged in an altercation with Holland so severe that the former Betty Ford staffer is now on Workers’ Comp.

The statement, posted on the Betty Ford website, confirms that employee Dawn Holland has been terminated specifically for commenting to press about the incident in which Lohan allegedly assaulted her. The statement reads:

“In the three decades since our doors opened to patients October 4, 1982, the Betty Ford Center and its employees have respected the privacy of our patients, all our patients. Ninety-six thousand women and men have come to the Center for addiction treatment over the past 28 years. When patients come to the Center for treatment, they come to a safe place where their identity is protected, where anonymity is safeguarded.  Their simple priority when in treatment is to learn how to live a life free of alcohol and other drugs. Confidentiality and trust are key to the treatment and recovery process. Regrettably, on December 21, 2010, one of our employees violated patients’ confidentiality by talking to the media and by disclosing a privileged document. That employee has been terminated by the Betty Ford Center.”

Police are currently investigating the incident.

Lindsay Lohan has been replaced in the Linda Lovelace biopic in which she was slated to star- by Watchmen actress Malin Akerman.

Lohan says she decided to “focus on her recovery,” thus ending her involvement with the project, but sources say director Matthew Wilder decided to cut the troubled actress from Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story because insurance costs proved too prohibitive. Deadline Hollywood leaks:

“My understanding is that Lindsay was dropped as she’s impossible to insure and the producers loved Malin,” an insider emails.

Wilder confirmed Lohan’s removal from the project last week and called keeping her in the film “impossible,” but her rep insists that the decision was a mutual one to facilitate Lohan’s focus on her recovery. The actress remains in a court-ordered rehab program. Her recent request to return home for a visit in July was denied, and she is not expected to leave the facility until her release date of January 3rd.

Well, our long national nightmare is over.

Lindsay Lohan has been freed from her stint in a California women’s prison after 13 long days of incarceration. There were hysterical fits, there were protests and it was alleged the troubled starlet didn’t even have a pillow to sleep on, but Lohan still had to serve thirteen WHOLE days of her original 90 day sentence before being whisked away to a rehab center in the wee hours of the morning by a convoy of police vehicles.

Lohan, under the supervision of the L.A. County Probation Department, was popped from the joint at 1:35am Pacific, and checked in to the UCLA Medical Center at 1:54am. There was even a cunning ruse to trick paparazzi!

In an elaborate plot to diffuse media interest, two black Cadillac Escalades drove from Lynwood to the high-end residential facility Morningside Recovery in Orange County, where Lohan had been slated to check-in.

As for her rehab destination, Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s spokesman Steve Whitmore would only say:

“She has been sent directly to her next destination, which is a treatment center… this concludes her custody,” Whitmore told waiting media, outside the jail.

Judge Martha Revel changed the location of Lohan’s rehab this past weekend amid concerns the actress could acquire drugs in the facility at which she was originally expected to arrive.

Linsday Lohan, who was recently dropped from a film for being “unbankable” seems to be in violation of probation and is likely headed to jail in May, TMZ is reporting.

The gossip site says that Lohan was ordered by the court to attend alcohol education sessions once a week after a DUI. However, attendance violations would not be reported until Lohan missed three weeks of classes, and the actress would often attend on day 21. So while the truancy wasn’t reported to the court, Lohan would still be ostensibly in violation of Judge Marsha Revel’s order.

TMZ asked Lohan’s laywer for comment:

We asked Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, for comment and received the following email:  “We have received no negative written report from the program and contend Ms. Lohan is therefore in compliance.”  Good lawyering for sure, because — as we just told you — the program may not have a problem with Lindsay, but the judge is going to have a big problem.

The sole exception to the order would lie in Lohan attending inpatient rehab, which she famously has refused to do despite her father’s public pleas.

Lindsay Lohan is over in the UK supposedly to do some sort of photo shoot, but instead has been partying excessively and stalking pining for her ex, Samantha Ronson. But a reporter from The Mirror says Lohan is a complete mess emotionally.

On Saturday night, The Mirror reporter says he ran into Lindsay at a club, sitting at the next table over and her behavior was that of a soon to be mental patient.

I’m used to celebrities getting wasted, making fools of themselves and larking around.

But what I witnessed at London’s Cuckoo nightclub this week was beyond anything I’ve ever seen before.

Step forward fallen movie star Lindsay Lohan who was on the table next to me at the Swallow Street venue.

I watched open-mouthed as Linds sat with her straggly hair all over her face looking strangely detached from the world and mumbled: “I feel so, like, caged. Totally caged.”

Unfortunately, the creepy behaviour continued as Lindsay and her posse visited the bathrooms.

My spy tells me: “She just wouldn’t stop saying she felt caged. She was just not all there and it really was like watching a broken girl in the middle of a complete breakdown.”

“She spent much of the night furiously texting Sam Ronson – and wasn’t best pleased about the texts she was getting.”

“Everyone with her was actually very concerned about her. She seemed like a girl on the brink of self- destruction.”

And there was even more cause for concern when Linds returned from the loo.

My jaw once again dropped as Lindsay – who had a vodka in hand throughout the night – squirmed around as if trying to hide in a ball on the floor.

Maybe this bizarre behaviour has something to do with on/off girlfriend Sam as she’s believed to be the real reason behind Lindsay’s visit to the UK.

Even after two years of going in and out of rehab, it seems like Linds has a long way to go before she’s back on track!

Lindsay Lohan needs help and more help than friends or family can give her. She needs to break out of that routine she’s in and get herself cleaned up or she’s going to end up in some serious trouble.

While Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were at Disneyland, the drama sh*tstorm continued. After Michael Lohan ran off to tell Pop Tarts that Samantha Ronson is a “dark, hideous and a disgusting representation of humanity,” rumors have circulated that Lindsay’s back to her pre-Cirque days.

Star has revealed that an insider (I wonder who that could be?) claims that “Lindsay’s been drinking, doing cocaine and causing all-around mayhem for the past few months. She quit going to Alcoholics Anonymous and has absolutely never taken recovery seriously. She’s gotten progressively worse, and everyone in her life is really scared.”

How could she have such alleged problems with a good, supportive family behind her? Oh wait.
