British singer Leona Lewis was attacked at a book signing for her memoir Dreams earlier today in London.

According to reports Lewis was signing books and posing for pictures at the Waterstone’s bookstore in Piccadilly when a man stepped up and punched her in the head in an unprovoked attack. He was restrained by security guards until police arrived at the scene and arrested him.

“Leona was the victim of an unprovoked attack this afternoon at her book signing” Lewis’ reps said in a statement. “The police were called immediately and medical attention has been sought. Leona is understandably shaken and apologizes to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings.”

The unnamed 29-year-old man is being held in custody on suspicion of assault. It is not known why he attacked Lewis, and witnesses said that he said nothing before or after attacking her.

Was Chris Brown messing around with another woman, leading to the fight that put Rihanna in hospital?

That question remains unanswered, but three women linked to Brown have all denied involvement.

Paris Hilton told Radar Online “That’s ridiculous and an outright lie…I was not ‘all over him’ as some magazine reported. I said, ‘hello’ and that was it. I love Rihanna and that never happened.”

A rep for Leona Lewis also denied any involvement “Leona was at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy party with her family and boyfriend and had nothing whatsoever to do with any argument that may have ensued between Chris and Rihanna. Any allegations that the pair had flirted are completely false.”

Last but not least, Keisha Chante’s Manager also denying her involvement, saying that “This is another unsubstantiated, untrue report; she was nowhere near the incident in any way. She was nowhere near Rihanna or Chris Brown. She had nothing to do with any of that.”

Chante’s manager says that Chante has been “getting frantic” after receiving phone calls from people about the reported rumours. She says that Chante barely knows Brown and rumours involving the two have been floating around for a while.

“She’s not even dating Chris! I think they met a few years back, probably three or four years ago in Canada…But that’s it. It’s crazy – there’s been a continuous kind of reporting of them linked together, and this has been the worst of it all. But, no – she had absolutely nothing to do with them or any of that.”

Several reports over the last 24 hours have attributed the cause of the fight where Chris Brown beat Rihanna to another woman. New reports now say that the other woman is Paris Hilton!

According to a report from OK Magazine, Chris Brown chatted up Paris Hilton while Rihanna performed at an event January 6.

“He and Paris went outside together,” a witness says, “Paris was all over him.”

“Rihanna caught wind of it and spent the rest of the night glued to him.”

There have also been reports of Brown receiving a call from a mystery woman, or what some sites are calling “a booty call,” in the car prior to the fight beginning. One name linked to the call in Leona Lewis, although this hasn’t been confirmed.
