Fresh off his “earned not given” win of the 2012 NBA Championship, Lebron James was apparently still floating on cloud nine when a wedding couple approached him asking for a photo right before their wedding in Coconut Grove, according to The Huffington Post.

Avid Miami Heat fans,  Shaun and Jamie Kolnick along with the rest of their wedding party were uncontrollably excited when they heard that Lebron James was currently in the Miami-area Ritz-Carlton that they were getting married in at the moment. They had hoped that they might spot the NBA star, but they weren’t sure if they’d get the chance.

“It was funny, because the bride’s brother was just dying, he was beside himself with excitement,” said wedding planner Jen Schwartz.

“And at some point, she (the bride) looked at him and said, ‘Okay, you’re more excited that LeBron James is here than you are for my wedding!’”

Little did they know that as they were preparing for pre-ceremony pictures that Lebron would be wrapping up his interview with Sports Illustrated at the same time and be walking right by their party, giving them the opportunity to ask for a photo. James was more than happy to oblige.

“He said, ‘Yeah, yeah, no problem,’” bride Jamie Kolnick said.

“The crazy part for me was that we had the wedding photographer taking our picture, plus 50-60 people taking pictures right next to our photographer!”

When asked if she minded that there were random people snapping cell phone pictures and uploading them to Facebook, Kolnick didn’t seem to mind.

“I was like, ‘Who cares? It’s a photo with LeBron!’ It was really unexpected and exciting,” said Kolnick.

“Shaun was like, ‘That’s enough! We don’t need to get married anymore.’”
