KISS, a rock band known around the World for their crazy style and over the top performances, are working on a deal with Rovio, the company behind Angry Birds, on their very own version of the game.

Gene Simmons, the outspoken frontman for the band, sat down and talked with Industry Gamers about his partnership with Ortsbo, a technology that allows real-time translation, music, and video games. One thing that was quite surprising is that Gene knows three different languages aside from English and Hebrew which are German, Hungarian, and Japanese, as well as learning Mandarin. Not a bad repertoire to have.

“Gene: Well, we’re talking with Sony games now. We are really trying to take it in areas that haven’t been done before and have stayed out of the marketplace because the ideas simply weren’t exciting enough. So while the gaming world is waiting for the KISS games that are going to explode, we’re busy taking the brand to places where no band has gone before. So Hello Kitty is one of the biggest brands on planet Earth. Now there’s KISS Hello Kitty, which we’ve already launched in 90 countries. We’re talking with Angry Birds, KISS and Angry Birds, which will become a deal. The KISS and the Archie world have now teamed up and the first issues of KISS Archie comic books hits the world this month.”

Gene has been known for licensing out the brand across a wide range of products and industries. And it’s pretty clear that he’s not slowing that down any time soon.

You just do not plant a kiss and get away with it. In fact, if you’re this school administrator in Florida, you would call the sheriff after witnessing a pair of consenting 12-year-olds share a kiss on the playground.

Deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s office were dispatched to Orange River Elementary School two students were debating on who liked a 12-year-old boy more. It was at this point that one of the girls decided to show how much she wanted the boy by walking over him and kissing him.

The assistant principal called the Florida Department of Children and Families. The administrator was instructed to call the police instead.

Sgt. Stephanie Eller, whow as at the scene, commented:

“They called us and said they caught two children kissing on the playground. The reality is it was probably something innocent between two kids on the playground. If it had been a crime at all it would have been a simple battery. At this point, it doesn’t look like we have anyone who was an unwilling participant in this.”

The deputies made a report and just documented the incident. They concluded that no crime had been committed.
Seriously, sometimes we really have to look at kids with all their innocence and stop being paranoid. Okay, maybe the school administrator was just being cautious.

Wait, let me call the sheriff’s office. I just saw a little girl planting a kiss on a little boy. Oh my, he kisses back! This is horrendous.

Barack Obama and Hugo Chaves sitting in a tree… A new campaign by the United Colors of Benetton shows world leaders like President Obama, Mahmoud Abbas, Benjamin Netanyahu, Angela Merkel, and Nicolas Sarkozy locking lips in order to promote the idea of “unhate.”

The Benetton Group hopes that the “unhate” campaign can contribute to a culture of tolerance.

Alessandro Benetton said:

“While global love is still a utopia, albeit a worthy one, the invitation ‘not to hate’, to combat the ‘culture of hatred’, is an ambitious but realistic objective… At this moment in history, so full of major upheavals and equally large hopes, we have decided, through this campaign, to give widespread visibility to an ideal notion of tolerance and invite the citizens of every country to reflect on how hatred arises particularly from fear of ‘the other’ and of what is unfamiliar to us…”

The group plans says that they will have young people post the photo-shopped images of kissing world leaders at symbolic locations around the world, like Tel Aviv, New York, Rome, Milan, Paris.

The group is also releasing a film, UNHATE, by French director Laurent Chanez. The film will center on the “precarious balance and complex interweaving between the drive to hate and the reasons to love.”

If you want to get in on the kissing action, the Unhate website features a kiss wall. You can upload a picture of a kiss (one person) and you’ll be randomly paired up with another kisser.

After 28 years as a couple KISS rocker Gene Simmons finally popped the question to girlfriend Shannon Tweed during the season finale of “Gene Simmons Family Jewels.”

The engagement proposal came after the previous episode finally showed the emotional side of Gene as he broke down in a therapy session with his entire family.

Gene took Tweed to Belize for the proposal where he threw his phone in a pitcher of water to avoid business calls and then took Shannon hiking, flying and on a bunch of other adventures that he would normally not enjoy but knew she would love.

Taking a traditional step Gene even asked Tweed’s mom for permission to marry her daughter, to which she said yes but that she would kill him if he hurt her daughter.

Gene attempted to propose while on a romantic flight over the area but waited until later due to aviation noise, eventually proposing to Tweed by the water, where she paused and then the words “to be continued” appeared across the screen.

While the series left us hanging with no answer from Tweed herself, a ring appears on her finger during the closing confessional which may or may not have been an engagement ring.

Former KISS guitarist Vincent Cusano, better known to his fans as Vinnie Vincent was allegedly in a fight with his wife that left her bleeding while police found four dead dogs at their home.

According to the police report Cusano dragged his wife through a pile of broken glass and he was “covered in blood” and “smelled of alcohol when Rutherford County police arrived on the scene.

The police report claims that 44-year-old Diane had attempted to “escape” from the couple’s Tennessee home when Vinnie “smacked her in the face” following an argument about a female Vincent was speaking with. Vinnie then grabbed her by the hair and “threw her to the ground.” According to Diane he then “dragged her through a pile of glass from a broken plate that had been on the floor since before the argument had started.”

Once at the home police found “four sealed containers containing deceased dogs.” According to Diane the dogs were all killed by one of their more aggressive dogs.

Bond was set on Vincent to the tune of $10,000 and he was charged with aggravated domestic assault.

The lady in the photo above is actually Vincent Cusano, time has NOT been good to him.

He’s Kiss vocalist/bass player, Family Jewels flaunter, serial promoter and happily unmarried to a playboy bunny. He’s Gene Simmons and he’s found another way to get his face in front of you – by encouraging you to pee on him.

Gene Simmons Family Jewels branded urinal cakes have been showing up in public restrooms around New York City recently. The puck sized deoderizers and disinfectants have an advertisment with Gene Simmons face emblazoned on them, giving you something to focus on and aim at while you’re releiving yourself. Personally, I’d be more releived if there were no aged rockstar looking up at me while I’m taking care of business, but that’s just me.

And what’s with him holding up his fingers like that. Is he supposed to be indicating how big (or how small?!?) something is?
