Katt Williams hadn’t been on a comedy stage in two years when he took to the stage at The Improve in Ontario, Canada and apparently his rusty delivery which lacked his normal hyper pace upset audience members to the point where he was forced to leave the stage.

It was first reported that Katt Williams became belligerent towards his audience when they weren’t laughing at his jokes and he was eventually asked to leave the stage rather than continue his rampage against show attendees.

Maronzio Vance, the comedian who replaced Williams on the stage after he left and police were eventually called says that the scene didn’t unfold as reports first stated.

According to Vance:

 ”He was mellow, he was chill. He hadn’t been on stage in two years.”

He went on to say that while Katt was upset he didn’t get to finish his show, he didn’t act in a manner that warranted the police, although he does admit that Williams should have left the venue when police were on their way.

Apparently performing comedy isn’t like riding a bike, at least not this past Saturday night when Katt apparently forgot how to do it.

He currently resides in Los Angeles, California where he works both in front of and behind the camera.

Following his arrest over the weekend on burglary charges, officials have now released the Katt Williams 911 call and the plot has most definitely thickened.

The 17 year old caller on the Katt Williams 911 call claimed that Katt Williams was holding him against his will at a home in Coweta County. The boy tells the dispatcher that he has a car waiting to take him to the airport, but Williams “wouldn’t let our ride take us there” and “threatened to beat me up.” The boy also says that he wasn’t sure if Williams had a weapon or not.

Williams was released from custody on a $40,000 bond and is facing charges of burglary and criminal trespassing. It is believed that he isn’t facing charges over the allegations raised on the call.

An attorney for Williams is claiming that the arrest “was a misunderstanding” and that Williams was a guest at the home.

New York police found rumors of Katt Williams death to be greatly exaggerated when they decided to investigate a car that had no license plate recently.

On searching the car they found two semiautomatics, a loaded clip, and a 9mm pistol. Williams walked outside and admited the cars with no license plates were his, and police promptly hauled him to jail and charged him with 6 weapons offenses.

Williams has form for this arrested for weapons offenses in 2006. Williams’ lawyer says that there is no way police can prove the guns are his.

MTV reported that Williams told the audience at his Carnegie Hall gig: I’m not moving at my usual pace. I just got out of jail 35 minutes ago.” But he didn’t miss a beat, assuring them that he hurried to the show for them and not for the cash. “I wasn’t thinking about the money — maybe because they paid me in advance,” he joked. More likely that he needed to cover the bail.

A hot rumor today has comedian, rapper, and actor Katt Williams being killed in a plane crash.

The rumor seems to have started with a viral text message saying Williams died at 4 am on November 1, 2008, and forwarded on from there.

At the time of writing, there has been no official confirmation or denial of the rumor, and his Wikipedia entry includes the line “Although no official word has been released, it seems to have been a hoax or a publicity stunt.”

Given the number of people on Yahoo Answers that are claiming to have received the text message, it sounds like a 4chan or similar stunt at this stage. We’ll update the post if we hear anything.
