Pregnant Kate Middleton can finally feel her baby moving, a sentiment she proudly announced to more than 1,000 cheering fans on Tuesday.

Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, stepped out in foggy Grimsby wearing a brown coat by Hobbs, which more than aptly hid her royal baby bump, reports The Daily Beast. Kate was greeted by dignitaries at the National Heritage Fishing Center, but took some time to interact with her fans. The bustling crowd gathered there cried out to the 31-year-old mother-to-be “We want Kate!”

Middleton obliged, offering the crowd a wave.

Fans gathered weren’t shy about asking Kate Middleton about her condition. One asked her if she could feel her baby moving yet, and Kate responded “Yes, it is. Very much so.”

“She’s beautiful, much better than in the pictures,” said 74-year-old Dorothy Garland, who waited for roughly three hours to catch a glimpse of the Duchess. “She looks so well.”

Once she was inside the Fishing Center, Middleton ran into a woman who was shopping at the same time as the Duchess last week on London’s Oxford Street.

“I said to her, ‘We met in TopShop last Wednesday,’ and she said yes,” Linda Mitchell, wife of a local Member of Parliament, told People. “I asked her if she bought anything, and she said, ‘A few bits.’ I told her I was going to say ‘hello’ but that would have been difficult. She said it would have been wonderful.”

After her visit to the Fishing Center, Kate made her very first visit to the Prince’s Trust, the children’s charity that was set up by her father-in-law Prince Charles to help disadvantaged youth find gainful employment, training and continuing education.

Obsession with Kate Middleton’s pregnancy is at an all-time high right now. Middleton presented awards at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year ceremony, which was broadcasted all over Britain. The AP reports that she wore a dark green outfit and seemed comfortable, healthy, and strong, with no visible signs of the acute morning sickness that caused the Duchess to be hospitalized.

Daily Mail reports that she was only on-hand at the ceremony for roughly 45 minutes, but that she wanted to be present to honor the nation’s athletes.

“While the Duchess does not feel ready to attend a four hour engagement, she is keen to show her support to the UK’s sportsmen and women at this prestigious event which caps a momentous year for British sport,” said a Royal source.

Middleton hasn’t made a public appearance since leaving King Edward VII Hospital in London on December 6.

At the show’s conclusion, Middleton presented the lifetime achievement award to Sebastian Coe, the newly elected chairman of the British Olympic Association, and a two-time Olympic middle-distance champion. She also presented the sports personality of the year award to Tour de France and Olympic champion Bradley Wiggins.

Royal officials have confirmed that Middleton is in her first 12 weeks of pregnancy. It will be the first child for Middleton and husband, Prince William.

Middleton’s appearance is also the first since the apparent suicide of King Edward VII Hospital nurse Jacintha Saldanha, who was the victim of a prank call by two Australian radio DJs. She said that she was deeply saddened by the nurse’s death.

Middleton’s latest morning sickness has caused her husband, Prince William, to cancel an event scheduled for Sunday to be by her side, reports Radar Online.

The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which causes acute morning sickness symptoms. A spokesman for St. James Palace confirmed the Prince canceled his appearance at the British Military Tournament to spend time with Kate at Kensington Palace. The spokesman added, “It is well known that Hyperemesis Gravidarum often recurs.”

Kate Middleton’ acute morning sickness is likely causing her to experience dehydration, vitamin and mineral deficit, and also the loss of more than five percent of her original body weight. HG is normally diagnosed roughly nine weeks into the pregnancy and usually goes away by week 16 or 20.

For some pregnancies, however, the acute morning sickness can last the entire pregnancy. E! Online notes that Prince William attended the Winter Whites Gala, where he joked about his wife’s health to former Centrepoint chairman Michael O’Higgins. The Prince stated:

“I don’t know why they call it morning sickness — they should call it all day and night sickness. It’s a long old process but she is getting there. She feels like it is going to go on forever.”

Middleton was hospitalized earlier this week with acute morning sickness, leaving the Royal Court no choice but to confirm her pregnancy to the world. She was released on Thursday and told reporters that she’s feeling “much better.”

“Trying for a baby has been their priority,” a royal confidant revealed prior to the official announcement. “They’re both excited to be focusing on a new chapter in their lives.”

“She is sleeping at the moment and she has had an uneventful night … Sleep is good for her. She’s been given some fluids to rehydrate her because she was quite dehydrated when she came in. But she’s stable at the moment.”

After saying Middleton would be “freshened up” and ready for a visit in the morning, the nurse added:

“She hasn’t had any retching with me since I’ve been on duty and she has been sleeping on and off. I think it’s difficult sleeping in a strange bed as well.”

John Lofthouse, the hospital’s chief executive, addressed the privacy breach regarding the pregnant royal in a statement and said:

“This was a foolish prank call that we all deplore. We take patient confidentiality extremely seriously and we are now reviewing our telephone protocols.”

According to ABC, it was only the bout with hyperemesis gravidum affecting Kate Middleton that prompted the sudden and unceremonious announcement of the impending arrival — to Royal Family flak as well as the worldwide news media. The site explains that when a hospital visit became inevitable, the couple knew that the pregnancy secret could no longer remain a secret.

Kate and William, who had been visiting the Duchess of Cambridge’s parents at the time she was taken ill, raced to the hospital — which was 50 miles from her parents’ home — and reportedly broke the news that the pregnancy had caused her to require immediate medical attention.

Royal watcher Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, explained:

“Well they didn’t want to let it out because she’s still probably about the 10- week mark but they knew that once Kate was seen going into the hospital … that it was going to be out of their hands and then the media would have control of the announcement.”

Sources say that Kate Middleton is not yet at the 12-week mark in her pregnancy, and many speculate that the illness may be an indicator that the young royal is expecting twins.

The rumor mill cranked up even before she was married.  There was talk of a shotgun Royal wedding.  There have been so many reports of a Kate Middleton Pregnancy that they barely make news anymore…until now.  Recent pictures of the Dutchess of York are looking more and more like she sporting a baby bump.

Duchess Catherine and Prince William were in Scotland at the Order of the Thistle in Edinburgh on Thursday.  The Order of the Thistle is a major British ceremony held yearly.  Both Kate and William hold Scottish title, the Earl and Countess of Strathearn. Kate even carried a scarf made of Strathearn tartan to further join the party.

Style-wise, Catherine looked glowing in a custom Emilia Wickstead yellow coat-dress — her third choice from the designer, following that pink garden party dress that she repeated twice, and the green St. Patrick’s Day coat dress. But it wasn’t her clothes that are making news, it was that her Tartan scarf was placed directly in front of her belly in almost all of the photos.  All the photos show a Kate with a fuller face than normal and the beginning of a bump under her dress.

It may be time for the Royals to break out that zillion dollar bottle of champagne they save for these types of occasions. Well not for Kate at least but the rest can celebrate.  And if she isn’t pregnant and we just insulted her weight, we offer a royal size apology. Is Kate Middleton pregnant? The royal baby rumors have been swirling for weeks and it looks like we may finally have confirmation. According to In Touch Magazine, Kate Middleton is definitely pregnant.

It’s been nearly 7 months since the royal wedding between Middleton and Prince William, and according to an inside royal source, the pressure has been on for Middleton to have a baby.

The royal source told In Touch:

“Since before they even got married, it’s been made clear to William and Kate that having children should be their number-one priority.”

The magazine is reporting that Middleton is currently 6-weeks pregnant.

In Touch doesn’t reveal the name of the source, but they say that it was the same person who correctly revealed other royal secrets, like the location of the royal honeymoon the queen’s wedding gift to Kate.

According to the source, Kate and William are building three nurseries. One in Nottingham Cottage, where Kate and William have been staying, one at their home in Wales and one at Kensington Palace. The source also claims to know possible baby names. The source said:

“They want something traditional. Edward, Philip and Michael are likely choices for a boy, or Alice or Rose for a girl.”

England recently changed its royal lineage rules so that the first born child of the prince doesn’t have to be a boy to inherit the throne. Prince William, apparently, is hoping for a girl.
