Marston Hefner, Hugh Hefner’s son, was arrested last night after allegedly attacking 2011 Playmate of the year Claire Sinclair.

Kansas City reports that Sinclair and Marston have been dating for over a year and lived together in a house in Pasadena, California. Marston was arrested after one of Sinclair’s family members called the police claiming that the young Hefner had abused Claire. Marston admitted that he and Claire had been arguing but denied that he had hit her.

Police may be a little skeptical about Maston’s denial, however, since Claire had bruises and red marks on her body.

According to TMZ, Claire Sinclair told police that Marston had punched her and kicked her in the stomach. Sinclair called her family for help who then called the police.

Marston was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence. He has already posted his $20,000 bail.

Claire Sinclair was named the Playmate of the Year in 2011. The 20-year-old has been dating Marston Hefner since August 2010.

Ex Party Girl Lindsay Lohan reportedly was made several highly lucrative offers to host New Year’s Eve shows on several networks.  In a sign of the changing times, Lindsay supposedly turned them all down in order to help rehab her party hard image.

TMZ reported that the troubles star is making great progress with the judge who is overseeing her probation.  She has been showing up on time to community service, staying clean and sober and keeping a low profile.  She desperately wants to keep the judge happy so she decided to stay home on New Year’s Eve.

The gossip site also reported that Lindsay Lohan is giving up a six figure payday to avoid the New Year’s Eve circuit.  She has stated publicly that she is going to spend the evening home with friends and possibly go out to dinner before midnight.

In December the judge praised Lindsay for her great progress and publicly encouraged her to keep up the good work.  Lindsay is on probation for a 2007 DUI and in a seperate case she is on parole for stealing a necklace.

It seems as if the former Disney star is really turning a page on her troubled past.  Six months ago people were writing her celebrity obituary, and now it seems as if she is on the road back to superstardom.   It seems as if the Playboy shoot, in which Lohan did a full nude shoot in the likeness of Marilyn Monroe, really signalled a turn up from bottom.  Hugh Hefner really does hold salvation for some Hollywood starlets.

She is due to appear in court Jan. 17 for a probation progress report.

Though Hugh Hefner and ex-fiancé Crystal Harris called off their engagement just days before their wedding in June, there is still one thing holding the two together: a charming Cavalier King Charles spaniel, creatively named “Charlie”.

If you’re on the wrong side of 30, you know Hef as the founder and long-time publisher of the magazine Playboy. If you’re in your late-teens or early-twenties, you know Hef from his show Girls Next Door. Either way, everyone knows the man for his night-life and endless supply of blonde bombshells, of which Harris is only the latest in what will surely be an enduring line, since Hef is apparently immune to consequences.

The “amicable” split has been uncomfortably passive-aggressive, beginning with reports of a mutual break-up followed by comments from Harris criticizing Hef for “two-second” stamina, and then in September, news of Harris’s intention of auctioning off her 3.39 engagement rock (worth more than your college education, and mine).

Hefner, Playboy mogul and libertine, originally said that Harris could keep the dog — according to her, anyway. Hefner says they’re still working it out, but believes that it’s only fair that he receive full custody, saying:

“I told her if she wants to keep the ring and the Bentley, then maybe I can keep the puppy. I [hope] we will work it out.”

In an attempt to garner some sympathy, Hefner continued by saying that Charlie isn’t “$100,000 worth”, hinting at his generous buy-off of Harris.

Yesterday we reported that interest in the Lindsay Lohan featured Playboy appeared to be waning but a recent study has found that the Lohan featured edition is flying off bookshelves in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York.

CNN had staffers call each location to determine availability with many stores revealing that they wouldn’t have more copies available until Monday morning.

The cover and photo spread was a gamble for Playboy and founder Hugh Hefner after she was paid a sum reported to be in the vicinity of $700,000 to $1 million.

In a message posted on Hefner’s Twitter account on Sunday he tweeted:

“The Lindsay Lohan January-February Double Issue is breaking sales records.”

Another spokesman for Playboy also echoed sentiments that the issue is “selling very well.”

Lohan accepted the photo shoot after her acting career quickly fizzled following various run-ins with the law over the last four years, run-ins that included DUI’s and theft of expensive jewelry. Many insiders believe she needed the money to keep the lifestyle she’s accustomed to.

The Playboy photo shoot wasn’t without it’s own issues, namely the fact that Hugh after seeing the first photo spread called Lohan back into his officers to re-shoot the entire spread, a shoot they say channels Marilyn Monroe.  If you’re familiar with Lohan’s work you already known that she has rather unsuccessfully tried to channel the likes of Marilyn in the past.

It seems as if rumors that the latest Playboy Celebrity Cover proved to be unfounded.  There seems to be very little interest in Lindsay Lohan‘s “Assets”.  In fact, very few customers seem to have much interest, especially since the photos were leaked online last week, and were widely criticized as flat.  The photo shoot has been described as an  intensely air-brushed version of the photo shoot done of Marilyn Monroe, which appeared in Playboy in 1953.

Fox News sent a team on the streets from New York to Philadelphia trying to find out how much interest there was in the issue, and they reported the same answer at every stop.

“No one has bought it”

It seems as if the $1 million dollars that Hugh Hefner paid for the shoot might have just been a waste of time and money.  Speaking exclusively to E! online, Hugh Hefner originally stated he didn’t even have any interest in photographing the troubled actress.

“It really came as a surprise to me,” Hefner told E! “I kind of had mixed emotions about it initially, and then it turned into something bigger than life. “I wasn’t quite sure where she was at in her life, obviously. It depends on whether it’s Tuesday or Thursday.”

Speaking to Perez Hilton, there seemed to be one celebrity who was really interested in purchasing the magazine and that was rap sensation 50 Cent.  He told Perez he had not seen the spread online, but was really interested in seeing what Lindsay’s cooch looked like.  He also waxed philosophically about why it is that when a woman strips for $1 she is called a stripper but when a celebreity does it for $1 Million it is called “art”

Hugh Hefner, champion of women’s rights to be blonde, tanned and nude at his behest, has spoken out about his role in Lindsay Lohan’s much buzzed about nude Playboy pictorial.

85-year-old Hefner admitted some reservations about Lohan’s mental state in agreeing to the pics, but in essence, who cares? Lindsay Lohan’s vadge! Hefner says the troubled star was not super keen on baring all for the nudie mag that is now struggling for relevancy in the age of internet porn, but that he supplied a verbal roofie to the former child star in convincing her to get her kit off to sell some of the once-popular rag that made Anna Nicole Smith and Pamela Anderson stars. Hef says Dina Lohan appeared and objected, finally, to one of Lindsay’s not necessarily great ideas, but that he managed to talk her into it:

“I think it was essentially mama [Dina] and the folks around her that kept pushing for less nudity… And I said, ‘We’re doing a nude pictorial here. We’re going to do it in a very classy way and we’re going to do it in a way in which it will not be forgotten.’”

If that all sounds a bit uncomfortable and awkward to you, don’t think Hefner didn’t consider that Lohan may not be the best decision maker before talking her into taking naked pics she can never take back while her career tanks:

A photo of Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy cover surfaced on Wednesday, well ahead of the company’s January/February issue release.

The cover was leaked after an early copy was sent out and features Lindsay Lohan with her female parts strategically covered by a red bunny logo shaped chair.

The Playboy issue will officially hit newsstands until later in the month and the official cover photo is expected to arrive on Dec. 15. During the official cover photo reveal Lohan will sit down with Ellen DeGeneres (Dec. 15) to discuss her Playboy photo shoot, Lohan’s rep has revealed that the Ellen interview will be her only public discussion about the Playboy job.

Speaking about the cover and photo spread Lohan’s rep said it was  ”absolutely fantastic and very tasteful,”  while Hugh Hefner has recently called the photo shoot “very classy” which is hard to believe since Lindsay Lohan was involved.

Lohan has hoped for the last several months that her photo shoot and attempt to stay out of trouble will help generate interest in her career which has waned since her DUI arrest and following necklace-theft.

Playboy has a lot riding on the cover and inside spread, after shooting a first run with Lohan in November she was called back for a re-shoot after Playboy founder Hugh Hefner determined that the first shoot didn’t meet his expectations. Lohan is not expected to appear fully nude in the shoot.

Playboy says Lohan was channeling Marilyn Monroe for the shoot, I personally don’t see it.

We get that Hugh Hefner is 85-years-old and lives a hard partying lifestyle (or at least lives around a hard partying lifestyle, but honestly the number of internet rumors about his demise are out of control, so much so that one day he’s going to pass away and we’ll all think it’s a hoax. Hef had to take to the internet on Tuesday to announced that he’s still alive and kicking.

Hef tweeted:

“The rumors of my death are, as Mark Twain observed in a similar situation, greatly exaggerated. I’m very much alive and kicking.”

Former Hugh Hefner fiance Crystal Harris was spotted on Saturday attempting to pawn her $90,000 engagement rignt at a San Diego jewelry store.

According to TMZ snoops, Harris was inside Prospect Jewelers in Ja Jolla, Ca where she asked for an appraisal on the ring.

When the stores owner asked Harris for documentation on the ring she called the Playboy Mansion where she was told documentation could be sent to the store, but not immediately so she left the location.

When someone told Crystal they were sorry to hear about her breakup with Hef she replied “Are you kidding? It was all for publicity.”

Now we just have to wait for another crappy album to drop from a talentless publicity hungry Playboy bunny.

25-year-old Crystal Harris ditched her much older fiance, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner over squabbles about money and her fledgling music career.

A source close to Crystal told TMZ that she was sick and tired of receiving just “a couple hundred dollars” per week and that she wanted to earn her own way by launching a music career.

Even with the couple’s wedding just days away the snoop says Harris was more focused on her music career than marrying the man she was supposedly in love with.

According to those close to the wedding, Crystal felt that she “couldn’t be married to Hef and have a successful music career.”

According to insiders, Hef has no intention of protecting his $43 million fortune (estimated). The McGraw relationship was reported by In Touch Weekly last month with the magazine claiming that an illicit romance was brewing between the age appropriate couple.

Jordan McGraw is a sound specialist who Crystal says is simply helping her “break into the music industry,” because Hefner and his close ties to hundreds of music industry folks couldn’t possibly do a better job….

When word got around that elderly lech Hugh Hefner had gotten engaged to one of his harem members, pretty much everyone thought about Holly Madison and the couple’s breakup after he essentially wouldn’t marry her.

The couple split in late 2008. Earlier that year at a Playboy luncheon, Hefner said:

“I love Holly very much and I think we’re going to be together the rest of my life, but marriage isn’t part of my puzzle. It’s not a personal thing; I just haven’t had much luck with marriages.”

While it seemed clear the engagement would be a bit of a slap in the face for Madison, one might expect she’d quietly offer her best wishes anyway. She didn’t though, not exactly, addressing the issue with surprising grace and sans congratulatory platitudes:

“I’m very surprised… I have a lot of different feelings on it. I don’t just feel one way. I kind of didn’t want to put a generic statement out there like ‘Congratulations!’ because I felt everyone would see through that.”

Madison even went to her former home with Hefner to express her mixed feelings:

Holly met with Hefner and Crystal yesterday at the Playboy Mansion. “I wanted to see him and Crystal and tell everybody face-to-face how I felt,” she said.

Madison says she’s been dating a guitar player since September and that he will appear on her reality show.

Hugh Hefner’s now almost quaint naked lady mag has seen a tremendous drop in circulation, from 3.5 million in 2006 t0 1.5 million currently. The loss of readers to internet boobs is almost certainly the cause, so Hef has a new plan to attract and retain new Playboy fans: this month’s centerfold, Hope Dworaczyk, in 3-D.

And it wouldn’t be a new Playboy initiative without some Hugh Hefner creepiness thrown in. Hef says:

“This particular picture is one example of how books and magazines are different (than computer images),” Hefner added. “You can hold it in your hands, save them, and as Dad used to, put them under the mattress.”

If you’ve made the switch from analog to digital titties, does a 3D centerfold attract you at all? Hope Dworaczyk seems to think the idea has its perks:

“It’s kind of like it says on the rearview mirror,” Dworaczyk joked. “Things may appear larger.”

Right, with my hollow apology out of the way, here’s one of the first TV adverts for Guitar Hero 5, starring a whole line-up of Playboy Playmates alongside a leering Hugh Hefner. Activision has dead guys in the game, and a nearly-dead guy shilling it.

I’m sure some of you will recall that the last Guitar Hero release, Guitar Hero World Tour, had an extremely similar commercial to this, only with Heidi Klum dancing solo in her underwear and socks. Considering last year’s video caught a lot of flak from Master of Logic Bill O’Reilly, I’m wondering what he’ll have to say about this:

According to the newest Hugh Hefner tell-all book, he’s very sexual! And experimental! Shock us, why don’t you. An excerpt from Steven Watts’ new book Mr. Playboy: Hugh Hefner and the American Dream, tells more on Hefner’s family foursome:

“[The foursome...] happen[ed with his brother, Keith, and his wife, Rae, one evening," Watts writes. "[But] while Millie ultimately backed out of having sex with Keith, Hugh slept with his sister-in-law.”

Not shocking, but points for grossness have been noted. If you are in any way intrigued, Hugh supposedly dabbled in a little homosexuality and starred in a porno film to boot.
