Did you just dig through your attic and realize you still have that old Sega Mega Drive gaming system sitting around? You probably don’t intend to play it much anymore, but you could still get some use out of it as an iPhone charging/dock station.

Charlie Sorrel at Wired took his old Sega Mega Drive and removed the systems wires and controllers in order to turn the system into an iPhone dock.

Charlie then took some gaffer tape and strung a USB cable through a hole in order to make the phone work.

Sure it doesn’t add a whole lot of functionality to your iPhone, but it sure does look geek chic.
