Ted Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber, will not be attending his 50th class reunion at Harvard University, where he received his Bachelor’s degree. He was, however, able to update his status to let his classmates know where he is and what he is doing.

Although I’m sure most of his classmates already know where he is, he still listed his address as the United States Penitentiary-Max in Florence, Colorado, according to The Daily Mail.

His fellow Harvard alum, Alex Taussig, a venture capitalist at the Boston-based Highland Capital, tweeted a photo of the entry, along with the comment:

“Ted Kaczynski’s alumni update for his 50 year Harvard reunion. Morbidly amusing.”

While it may be surprising to see that the Unabomber went to Harvard, he was actually a child prodigy, according to ABC News. Kaczynski was accepted to Harvard at the age of 16 and earned his Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Michigan. He also taught as a professor at U.C.-Berkeley when he was only 25, reports ABC News.

This slide of his from promising child prodigy to serial killer is quite possibly the most extreme of any fellow alum, although the school has seen its own share of alums jailed for anything from the collapse of Enron (a.k.a. Jeffrey Skilling, who is serving 24 years) to embezzlement, insider trading, identity theft, and murder, according to ABC News.

Along with his address, the Unabomber also listed his awards as:

“Eight life sentences, issued by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, 1998.”

The Daily Mail reports that his publication, “Technological Slavery,” includes the manifesto he published that ultimately led to his arrest.

Ted Kaczynski was arrested, charged, and sentenced in 1998 for the murders of three people, and also for injuring 23 others with a series of 16 mail bombs between 1978 and 1995.
