Gisele Bundchen Expecting a Baby Boy

Gisele Bundchen is reportedly expecting a boy. The 29-year-old supermodel is due to give birth to her first child with husband Tom Brady, 32, in December and the couple is planning to call the infant Gabriel.

A source told National Enquirer magazine, “One of Gisele’s five sisters is named Gabriela, and she always thought it is a beautiful name.

“Gisele was brought up a Roman Catholic, and Gabriel is an archangel, a messenger from God, in the New Testament.

“She’s also friends with Brazilian singer-songwriter Gabriel Guerra. They met in Rio de Janeiro last year, and he wrote the song ‘Tribute to Gisele’ for her. She liked it so much she put it on her website.”

The couple is reportedly delighted by the news, and Gisele “can’t stop” talking about the new addition to her family.

The source added, “Tom and Gisele didn’t care if they had a boy or a girl, just as long as everything is OK with the child.

“But now that Gisele knows it’s a boy, she’s so excited, she can’t stop telling people.”

Tom – who has a two-year-old son, John, with actress Bridget Moynahan – recently spoke of his excitement of becoming a father, insisting it will be easier than his American football training.

He joked, “It couldn’t be harder than this training camp, so I’ll be prepared.”

Gisele Bundchen is pregnant, reports People magazine.

Gisele and new-husband Tom Brady denied reports they were expecting a child after they were spotted in May leaving an obstetrician’s office. However, “sources” are now telling the gossip mag that Gisele is pregnant and “ecstatic.” The Boston Herald also cattily cited sources confirming the existence of the new Brady-baby, after Tom flat-out denied it just weeks ago.

While unnamed “friends” of the supermodel are confirming the pregnancy, Tom’s mother and Gisele’s rep both told the AP “no comment” when confronted with the rumor. When asked about the future spawning plans in May, Brady told reporters:

“One is enough. I have dogs, that’s all I need.”

If the sources are to be believed and Gisele is knocked up, this would be the first child for the Brazilian supermodel. Brady already famously fathered a child with model Bridget Moynahan, right before taking up with Gisele and kind of leaving Moynahan to deal with the whole baby thing her ownself. Do over!

Now Gisele Bundchen Is Actually Engaged To Tom Brady

After the snafu that was their supposed romantic Christmas engagement, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady have officially gotten engaged, People reports. According to the mag, Gisele was presented with a diamond solitaire on Friday, with a source simply saying that “He asked and she accepted.” If only that could have been embellished for all the romantics out there. . . I think I liked the faux engagement story better (with the red roses, the jet, and family).

The official announcement will be released later on this week, the source hints, and preliminary wedding details are already in the works. “The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home,” they told People.

Imagine all of Gisele’s famous model friends descending on the beach for a long weekend. . . I don’t think people will complain if a paparazzo or two catch a photo.

Tom Brady finally asked Gisele Bundchen to marry him, TMZ reports. Mr. Football Star got down on one knee while on a private jet to pop the question, reportedly bringing out champagne and four dozen white roses to seal the deal. Here’s the extra-sappy romantic detail for you: Gisele’s parents were on the jet, which was headed to Boston on Christmas Eve, to witness the whole thing! I’m sure Gisele got an amazing rock to add to her collection.

Does this sound like a Harlequin moment to anyone else? I bet the tabs will start fabricating rumors on Bridget Moynahan’s intense jealousy post-haste.

Gisele Bundchen– pictured here in her V Magazine glory– took the opportunity to sound off about her stance on the environment and politics:

On Miley Cyrus posing for Vanity Fair and showing some skin: Can you believe this is news? It’s ridiculous. And the politicians aren’t going to create any laws about this [kind of media saturation]. They’re very happy with it. They can go around doing what they want and no one cares because we’re more concerned about some 15-year-old girl holding a sheet in a picture. No one cares about what [the politicians are] screwing up, or how much money is being lost.

What’s she most compassionate about: “The destruction of our planet.”

Wait– isn’t this the same person who’s waiting on her private jet for 2010? Eco-conscious indeed.

I’m not sure if it’s better to go on a platform when you’re wearing semi-buttless chaps, or wait until you’ve got everyone’s full attention. I’m even having some trouble concentrating right now.

Maxim’s Hot 100 Slightly Disappoints

I’m aware that my opinion, as a lady, doesn’t count for much when it comes to something like Maxim’s Hot 100 list. But I do know a few things about it: I should be able to muster up some jealousy about all the “Top 20″ girls if necessary, and there should be a lot of supermodels populating the upper echelon. Marisa Miller of Victoria’s Secret (pictured) got the #1 spot, with Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel, Eva Longoria, and Sarah Michelle Gellar following close behind.

But scanning their recently-published list, I had to wonder. Where’s Gisele Bundchen? She’s always in the public eye, works tirelessly, and is filthy, filthy rich. Did someone have a grudge or is she really “not that hot”?

The other thing I spent a lot more time pondering is how the f*ck could Britney Spears be ranked at number 19? Seriously. She beat out Heidi Klum, Jessica Alba, Zoe Saldana, and Mena Suvari, just to name a few. I don’t have enough time or space to tell you what’s wrong with this, but I know that you’ll be coming up with plenty of reasons, too.

Gisele’s Got Everything in the Bag

Gisele Bundchen made quite the appearance last night at the Costume Institute Gala in New York with Tom Brady at her side, but it’s no secret that she works hard to do her job so well. (And by “job” we obviously mean looking good.) All controversy aside on that particular couple, they were looking smokin’ last night and that deserves a tip of the hat. Especially for a party that had the theme “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” and could therefore get pretty scary when people decide to go it alone, sans stylist.

Maybe Gisele looks so good because she’s hiding a hot little secret involving wedding bells. We can only hope! In Touch Weekly has been riding on the idea for over a week, saying that Tom will be popping the question soon.

Would I love to be a fly on the wall at Bridget Moynahan’s house… Gisele looking this good and there’s a hint of engagement? Ooof.
