George Clooney’s Dating Advice for Co-Stars

George Clooney gives his co-stars dating advice.

The 48-year-old actor, who is dating MTV Italy presenter Elisabetta Canalis, created a set of rules which he believed would help his ‘Up In The Air’ co-star Anna Kendrick, 24, including banning her from romancing older men.

Anna explained, “He had rules for me about dating and stuff. It was really sweet. It’s funny, actually. A friend of his that was his age was dating somebody younger than me. He thought that was fine. I was like, ‘What would you say to me if I were dating somebody your age?’ He said, ‘Oh no, absolutely not.’

“He had this kind of older brother thing with me.”

The actress also revealed her favorite scenes with George were the ones where she got to take out all her former relationship frustrations out on him.

She explained, “I loved yelling at George. I loved telling George off. I loved telling George that he was a 12 year old. I was so looking forward to that scene almost to the extent that I was concerned that it was going to be a kind of indulgent thing. It’s like every ex-boyfriend I have ever had in the form of George Clooney on a boardwalk. It was a lot of fun.”

George Clooney has felt “lonely and incomplete” in relationships.

The 48-year-old actor who has dated a string of beautiful women, including Renee Zellweger, Kelly Preston and Lisa Snowdon – has struggled to find love, and hopes his new romance with Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis will last the distance.

George told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “I’ve had some absolutely great relationships and some not so great relationships.

“I’ve been in some relationships where I’ve felt terribly alone. Just because you’re with someone it doesn’t mean you’re incredibly happy and complete.”

George insists ending relationships is no different when you are famous, although the intense scrutiny on his love-life can make things tough.

He explained, “I’ve had some easy and natural, made-sense break-ups as well as some rough ones. I deal with them the same way we all do: I’m successful with some and not so successful with others.

“I don’t think my experiences are any different than anybody else’s, they’ve just been amplified a little more.”

George also revealed he is content with his appearance, and has no problem with his greying hair and lined face – although in his mind he still looks like he did in his heyday.

He said, “I’m old. I’m kind of comfortable with getting older because it’s better than the other option, which is being dead. So I’ll take getting older.

“It’s an interesting thing to be able to watch yourself grow older on screen. I was watching ‘Up in the Air’ and I thought, ‘Jesus, who’s the old, grey-haired guy?’ And it was me.

“I never wear make-up for movies and now it’s starting to show.”

Ewan McGregor’s Goat Coach

George Clooney wants Ewan McGregor to take acting lessons from a goat.

The Hollywood heartthrob, who stars alongside the Scottish actor in new movie ‘The Men Who Stare at Goats’, joked the animals in the film were more talented than some of the cast.

He said, “I’m now working with goats, we spent a lot of time together. The goat I had to stare out was a great actor – if you told him to do something he would. Now if I only I had got Ewan to take lessons from him we’d be onto a winner!

“But although they were good, I don’t think I want to be working with animals again in the near future!”

However, George insists it was great working with Ewan in the comedy film about the Iraq war, because he is so down to earth.

He added to BANG Showbiz, “I was shocked at how fun and normal Ewan is. We would talk about the motorcycle trips he takes across the world – he’s a really interesting guy. He’s good to work with as he puts his work first and when that’s done you know you can have some fun. He’s just a great guy.”

George Clooney Plans to Adopt Brad Pitt’s Kids

George Clooney has offered to adopt some of Brad Pitt’s kids.

The ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ actor, who has no children, claims he owes his ‘Ocean’s 11’ co-star a favor and is willing help out with his six children.

He joked to BANG Showbiz, “I am planning to adopt. I am going to adopt some of Brad Pitt’s kids. I owe him.”

George previously revealed he has no plans to become a father, but spends time with Brad, his partner Angelina Jolie and their large brood whenever he feels lonely.

He said, “Even one kid running around my villa makes me nervous, so I’m definitely not a candidate for father of the year. If I need to surround myself with children and feel like I have this big extended family, I can always call Brad and Angelina and ask them to stay with me, just to remind myself why I’m so happy.”

George has also revealed he formed such a close bond with his ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ co-star Jason Schwartzman he feels like a parent to him.

When asked if voicing the animated family movie had made him broody, George said, “Broody? That’s a word that Americans don’t understand. Just having Jason here next me was like having a son. And he just got married by the way, so it will soon be like being a grandfather!”

The 48-year-old actor is currently dating Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis.

George Clooney Buys Girlfriend a Diamond Ring

George Clooney has bought his girlfriend a diamond ring.

The 48-year-old actor treated Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis to the Cartier band to show his commitment to their fledgling romance.

In Touch Weekly magazine reports, “It’s not an engagement ring – but it is a sign they’re getting serious.”

George is head over heels in love with Elisabetta, 31, who he started dating in July.

He has already asked her to live with him at his California home, and has bought her a string of romantic gifts to show his love.

Among the items he has treated her to are a Hermes Kelly bag and several pairs of designer high heels. He is even considering splashing out on a sports car for her.

A source said, “Every day is like Christmas at George’s house for Elisabetta. He’s even looking at a Maserati car. He’s had a great life for a long time, but she seems to make him very happy.”

Although it is unknown how the couple met, Elisabetta – who hosts the Italian version of MTV show ‘Total Request Live’ – is understood to have a villa on Lake Como, where George also has a home.

Matt Damon likes George Clooney because he has a great house.

The ‘Informant’ actor befriended George when they starred in ‘Ocean’s 11’ in 2001, and has maintained the relationship because George loves splashing cash on his pals.

The 38-year-old star said, “George has this beautiful place in Italy where he brings all of his friends and he’s an amazingly generous person.

“As a friend of George, what you really need to do is try and stay on his list because he’s got an incredible life that he shares with all his friends.”

Despite his desire to stay in George’s good books, Matt is quick to mock the older star’s gambling abilities.

He added to Parade.com, “George is a loser. We were in Vegas and he was like, ‘I have never won anything in my life gambling.’ I said, ‘I know how to play. I’ll show you. Don’t worry about it.’

“Then, he lost 25 straight blackjack hands in a row, which I think is a record. I would never have believed it unless I saw it happen.

“Afterwards, he slipped a cheque under my hotel room door for $2,500 that said, ‘For services rendered,’ but it wasn’t signed, so I couldn’t cash it.”

George Clooney wants to direct Matt Damon in a new movie about the ‘War on Terror’

George Clooney has singled out friend Matt – whom he previously starred alongside in Middle Eastern drama ‘Syriana’ – to star in a political film he is developing about Osama Bin Laden’s former chauffer, entitled ‘Hamdan v Rumsfeld’.

He explained: “It’s about the so called ‘War On Terror’, but set in a courtroom.”

The film will follow the plight of the chauffer, who was captured in Afghanistan and shipped to notorious US detention centre Guantanamo Bay, located in Cuba.

Matt will play his lawyer, who eventually managed to take his case as far as the US Supreme Court.

George may be thinking of offering the role to Matt after he was recently heard complaining that his pal gets all the best parts in Hollywood.

Speaking at the New York premiere of his film ‘The Informant!’, Matt, 38, said: “George just wasn’t right for the part, thank God, so I got to play it.

“He gets enough good roles, he doesn’t need all the good ones, he’s got to leave some for the rest of us!”

George, 48, has roles in three films which are being screened at this week’s Toronto Film Festival: ‘Up in the Air’, ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’ and ‘The Men Who Stare at Goats’.

Matt Damon thought George Clooney was playing a trick on him when he gained weight. The “Informant!” actor – who raises three children with wife Luciana Bozan Barroso – was so unwilling to admit he had put on weight he convinced himself his actor pal had paid someone to alter all his clothes so they didn’t fit.

Matt explained: “I have the opposite of anorexia. I look in the mirror and I think I look great.”

“I put on some weight, not for a film just in my normal life, and suddenly none of my suits fitted.”

“I was like, ‘What’s going on?’ I took another suit out and it didn’t fit either. Honestly, what I thought was that somehow George Clooney had gotten in and paid somebody to slightly hem them.”

“My wife said to me, ‘Could it be that maybe you’ve put on some weight?’ I’m like, ‘That’s absurd! I look fantastic!’”

Matt – who put on 30lbs for his role in new movie “The Informant!” -finally realized he had been gorging on too many calorific treats when he began working out and found his clothes fitted again.

He told MTV News: “The truth was, of course, that I was a fat a*s. I can’t believe it made more sense to me that George Clooney paid somebody to hem my suits than to admit I actually didn’t fit in my suits.”

George Clooney isn’t a fan of sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter and says an intrusive medical would be a more preferable option than creating his own page.

He is quoted by website E! Online as saying: “I’d rather have a rectal examination on live TV by a fellow with cold hands than have a Facebook page!”

Jason Reitman – who directed George in new movie ‘Up in the Air’ – also agrees with the ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’ star as he believes social networking sites are far too intrusive.

He said: “As an actor, you give up your life to a certain extent, but you shouldn’t have to give it up that much. I’m not talking about a red carpet. On a red carpet, you’re there to get your photo taken. But the extent to which actors have to hide their lives, and how much they give up in their lives is too much. It’s inappropriate. It’s wrong.”

The unidentified male stood up in the press conference and said: “I am gay, George, and I think I am in love with you… Please take me.”

He then proceeded to strip to his underwear, leaving his tie in place, and added: “May I kiss you, please. Just one kiss?”

Taking it all in his stride, George calmly replied: “It’s hard when you take a big chance and it doesn’t really work.

“It’s always embarrassing when you take one real big swing for the fences and it just falls flat. It was a good try, though. You know, the tie looks good, and it’s just long enough.”

In the film, George plays Lynn Cassady, a man who claims the CIA has a secret, psychic unit who are working to end war.

Fielding questions about his private life during the conference, George – who is dating Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis – also joked he was planning a same-sex wedding.

Referring to ‘The Men Who Stare at Goats’ director Grant Heslov, George said: “Grant and I are actually announcing our wedding while we are here. I don’t quite know how to answer that question, but I can read your mind again and I know what you’re thinking.”

George Clooney has donated the money to Lisa Snowdon’s double charity parachute jump attempt, pushing her way past her original target of raising $8,000 for two children’s charities.

A source said: “George was so impressed with Lisa’s guts and determination that he wanted to help.

“Lisa had no idea how generous he would be until she logged onto her website and saw how much he put down.”

Model-and-TV host Lisa had an on/off relationship with George between 2004 and 2006, but they have remained friends ever since.

Lisa admits she is nervous about doing the two separate jumps for Shooting Star Children’s Hospice and Help a London Child, on her fundraising page.

She wrote: “I’m a little bit nervous, especially about doing this twice (I don’t even know if I’ll enjoy the first one!) but knowing how much this will benefit both of these charities will really help me.”

Although the pair are on friendly terms, it seems unlikely George, 48, and Lisa, 38, will rekindle their romance. He is currently dating Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis.

George Clooney is about to wage war against 2 Italian magazines and a Paparazzi photographer after someone climbed over a wall at his compound and photographed a 13 year old girl topless who was changing her clothes in a guest bedroom on his property.

The topless photos of the topless 13 year old girl ended up being published in 2 different magazines. Photos were also taken of Clooney and his girlfriend in the yard of his estate.

Clooney is suing over the photos, telling TMZ:

“We’re suing two magazines AND a photographer. I don’t know about the law in the United States but in Italy it’s illegal for photographers to climb over my wall and to take long lens pictures of a 13-year-old girl in her bedroom. I draw the line of privacy at that.”

Outrageous! We’re with Clooney on this one. They’ve gone too far.

George Clooney is romancing an Italian actress

George Clooney has enjoyed several dates with 30-year-old Elisabetta Canalis, who hosts the Italian version of MTV show ‘Total Request Live’.

On July 22, the couple were seen on a double date at the Hotel Majestic Rome.

They were also seen in the romantic Italian city on July 26, when they spent time snuggling up to each other and whispering in each other’s ears.

Elisabetta is believed to live in a villa on Lake Como, where George also owns a property.

The ‘Burn After Reading’ actor is due to start shooting new movie ‘A Very Private Gentleman’ in Italy in August, prompting speculation his new romance could become more serious.

George’s representative has not confirmed the claims, insisting he has “no idea” about the actor’s romantic life.

Last month, it was claimed George was on the verge of setting up home with 23-year-old cocktail waitress Lucy Wolvert.

A source said at the time: “They’ve started out casual, but things are moving fast and she’s told friends they’re planning to spend a large part of the summer together.”

Last year, George ended his year-long relationship to another cocktail waitress, Sarah Larson.

George Clooney has reportedly been approached to play Dr. Phil in a biopic based on Dr. Phil’s life.

According to reports, Dr. Phil himself approached Clooney to play the role, however Clooney wasn’t that keen. “George didn’t seem too overly excited, but did say he’d willing to read a script once it’s compleated and they’ll go from there” said a source.

The boipic, titled “Tell It Like It Is” hasn’t gone into formal development yet.

The answer is yes, if you believe the response given by Pink on Ellen. Asked if she was dating, Pink said yes, George Clooney, then offered a photograph of the pair as proof (above).

The chances of it being real though are somewhat less: it looks and sounds like a joke when you view the clip. We’re betting on the joke side, although some sites are suggesting it’s real. Well believe it when we see some more evidence.

What started out as a rumor is true: Bernie Mac has passed away from complications with a severe case of pneumonia, with his rep confirming the sad news:

“Actor/ comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital. No other details are available at this time. We ask that his family’s privacy continues to be respected.”

In a touching tribute to the hilarious family man, actors-slash-comedians spoke out regarding Bernie’s early, untimely, and frankly pretty surprising death (considering that his rep had just told us yesterday that he was “make a full recovery.”

Boob Job Leads to Break Up? Makes Sense.

According to the weirdest gossip circling the celeb world today, George Clooney and Sarah Larson may have split because he didn’t like her new, surgically-improved assets (her boobs). In Touch Weekly’s insider stated that:

“George really didn’t want her to get the boob job. She asked George if she could do her recovery at his house and he agreed. [Then] they had a huge fight and he left the house. Sarah read in the media that they’d broken up and freaked out because George hadn’t told her anything. He had to explain himself because she’d found out with the rest of the world.”

Nice work, George, getting your PR rep to do the dirty work! You’d think a player like that would know how to handle break-ups, but apparently he’s gotten soft with fame.

The insider went on to speculate that “[Sarah] likes her new body so much that she would consider posing for Playboy. Now that she’s famous, she’d never go back to cocktailing.”

While I’m inclined to belief a lot of the “insiders” out there, they did just call Sarah “famous.” Maybe I should be a little more skeptical of our source, because famous she ain’t. I am sure of one thing: Sarah’s going to be getting a string of suitors with that new bod, and a career will probably be the last thing on her mind!

George Clooney has bumped super-hot girlfriend Sarah Larson to wallow in the single life yet again. Isn’t that good news for girls with a crush on someone who’s old enough to be their dad? *Shivering*

An insider for In Touch Weekly somehow managed to make George seem like the good guy while simulaltaneously making Sarah sound utterly perfect herself. What a brown nose; they’re probably for real then.

“George is relieved to be single again,” they commented. “He thinks Sarah is sweet and that is why it was so hard to break up with her. The truth is that they had little in common and he just doesn’t want to be tied down.”

Playing the field at this age? Oh, for shame. Sarah seemed like a wonderful catch, but given George’s luck, I’m sure he already has plans for his next conquest.
