George Clooney is an Oscar winner, a two-time Sexiest Man Alive winner and one of Hollywood’s biggest A-List actors but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t sometimes feel insecure with his masculinity.

Clooney was recently talk at the New York Times‘ Times Talks Q&A at the SilverScreen Theater in West Hollywood when he revealed:

“I don’t run great in flip-flops,” and ”It was a little frustrating because I did it the first time in those shoes and I thought it would be funny and I was sort of screwing around.”

Clooney was referring to a scene he was filming for his new movie The Descendants when he added:

“Then [director] Alexander [Payne] seemed to like it and I realized I would have to do it a lot more,” he continued. “And I also realized it would sort of end all masculinity for me for the rest of my life!”

So there you have it, from the mouth of the director/actor himself, he lost his masculinity for the “rest” of his life. Although I have a sneaking suspicion he’ll find that masculinity with the next 10 super models he’ll surely date.

Clooney also revealed that 20-year-old breakout star Shailene Woodley had to keep him under control:

“There’s really only one kid actor [in the film], Amara [Miller], Shailene was the adult on set. I’ve got the fart machine and she was like, ‘Really? Put that away, we gotta work.’”

TMZ reports that rumors about a relationship between Canalis and Steve-O have been swirling for months. But the duo all but confirmed the rumors yesterday when they were spotted going to a hair salon together.

So yes, it’s not definite proof. But TMZ did manage to capture a picture of the two kissing. So it’s probably safe to say that Elisabetta Canalis and Steve-O are officially dating.

Jane Lynch and Jamie Lee Curtis will be joining the cast of the play ’8′ according to The Hollywood Reporter. They’ll be accompanied by Martin Sheen and a who’s-who of Hollywood’s most impressive young actors.

George Clooney is already set to star in the Dustin Lance Black play, which tells the story of the historic court challenge to California’s Proposition 8. The play will be performed for one night only, according to organizers. Tickets, one would imagine, will be like chicken teeth. Also appearing will be George Takei, Matt Bomer, Campbell Brown, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Cleve Jones, Christine Lahti, Matthew Morrison, Rory O’Malley and Yeardley Smith.

Proceeds from the play will be going exclusively to the American Foundation for Equal Rights, and AFER board president Chad Griffin had this to say:

“This play will continue to show Americans – one by one – that prejudice and fear cannot stand up to truth and justice. Try as they might, the anti-marriage proponents of Proposition 8 cannot hide their discriminatory arguments from the American people. Until every citizen can equally enjoy the freedom to marry, AFER will continue to fight in the courts of law and the court of public opinion – and we will win.”

Clooney, the main draw of the play after his Golden Globes success, will play plaintiffs’ lead co-counsel David Boies, while Sheen will fill the boots of co-counsel and Theodore B. Olson. Lynch will play the villain of the piece, opponent of marriage equality Maggie Gallagher, co-founder and former chairman of the National Organization for Marriage.

The play is scheduled to be performed on March 3 at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles – with a capacity for only 1,300 audience members, this is going to be a particularly hot ticket.

It was a busy few days for George Clooney after he not only bagged two awards at different awards shows but actually showed up to receive both prizes.

Clooney took a private jet to the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Saturday where he accepted an award on Saturday, he then headed to the National Board of Review gala in Manhattan where he grabbed a “best-actor” prize on Tuesday night.

George Clooney knew about the honor since the awards were both announced ahead of time and guests say that made the reception relaxed, although as Clooney put it:

“I’m still going to act surprised.”

By the actors side was currently girlfriend of the moment Stacy Keibler.

Also grabbing a price for Clooney’s movie Descendants was co-star Shailene Woodley who grabbed the best supporting actress.

The NBR also gave out awards for best-picture (Martin Scorsese’s Hugo) while The Help won best ensemble film.

Talking about awards season George Clooney told FOX411′s Pop Tarts column:

“There’s a lot of baby kissing [in an awards campaign)] as you can imagine,” He then combined Hollywood awards to campaigning on the Presidential trail, “I think [making it more political] is a really good idea. I would like to see some of the best actresses out there debating, like Viola (Davis) and Meryl (Streep) going at each other. That would be fun.”

George Clooney’s next movie will tell the story of the men and women who helped to rescue art stolen by Adolf Hitler.

The Monuments Men, a 2009 book by Robert Edsel, recounts how a group of art experts landed at Normandy during the Second World War and subsequently helped to save priceless art looted by the Nazis. Clooney confirmed to reporters at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Saturday that he would direct and star in Monuments Men, and that his film partner Grant Heslov would again be on production duties. Clooney said:

“It’s an amazing story, and Grant and I are already thinking about how great the casting can be. And there’s also a great love story. [...] Hitler was an art fanatic, and he stashed masterpieces everywhere. He hid 27 Rembrants in a coffin.”

The 11 experts who conducted the art-saving mission were all civilians, untrained in combat, who faced live fire in the war. Two of the group would die while on the mission. Between them, there was a rich artistic background, and their number included the founder of the New York City Ballet, Lincoln Kirstein.

The love story in the film (apparently also true to real-life events) involves Rose Valland, a member of the French Resistance who also tracked down looted art during the war.

Clooney, who previously directed acclaimed political drama The Ides of March, told press members at the Palm Springs festival that Monuments Men was his top priority. It’s certainly a different angle for a World War II flick – is it one that would interest you?

Kathy Griffin fans are getting a late Christmas present, while her detractors and targets are checking their stockings one last time before relegating them to storage, only to find a lump of coal. The Emmy-Award winning comedian has just been granted a one-hour weekly talk show, creatively titled Kathy, to air on Bravo.

So what will the show be about, and when can we expect to Tivo it?

At today’s Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena, Bravo introduced Kathy, calling it a “piercing take on the week’s news,” everything from the biggest headlines to the lowliest celebrity gossip. The show will also “feature stand-up routines, celebrity interviews and taped segments.”

So it’s The Daily Show, but without a funny host and on an unfunny channel, and it’s coming to a living-room near you this spring.

What else is on the lineup for Bravo this year? George Clooney will be on Inside the Actor’s Studio January 31st, and the cast and crew of Glee will headline the program later this year.

Aside from Kathy, several reality-themed shows are filling Bravo’s programming slots, Shahs of Sunset, Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis, Million Dollar Listing New York, Love Broker, Around the World in 80 Plates, and Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding. Most of the new shows are spin-offs from old programming featuring familiar faces or premises, while Shahs of Sunset is a new documentary about Persian-American youth, courtesy of Ryan Seacrest Productions.

George Clooney’s had a productive 2011. The 50-year-old actor starred in, directed, produced, and co-wrote political drama The Ides of March, and has a new film, The Descendants, opening on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Yet to his credit, the actor-director-producer-writer-tea boy (probably) still has time to sit down and watch the work of others. Speaking to The Envelope, Clooney talked about the performances and films he’s loved this year, revealing:

“Jean Dujardin [in The Artist]. Because it’s not just the style of the film, it’s that his performance was so elegant and fun. He just jumps off the screen, and he’s so good, and I thought that was a spectacular performance.”

The Artist, a black-and-white silent film set in 1920s and ’30s Hollywood, is gaining plaudits by the bushelful right now from the critics, but audiences will have to wait until November 25th before it hits theaters.

Clooney also had some kind words for his friend and Oceans Thirteen co-star Brad Pitt (who will be no doubt relieved to know I agree with Clooney – Pitt’s a sorely underestimated actor):

“You know what [else] I just saw that I really liked — I thought I’d like it anyway because they’re all friends of mine — but I really liked ‘Moneyball.’ You know I’m still a baseball nut. It’s really good. Brad [Pitt] is one of those actors that I think is always sort of underestimated … and the truth is he’s really good in that movie.”

In an interview in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, George Clooney reveals that he seriously considered suicide after sustaining a spinal injury during the filming of Syriana.

When filming a scene involving Clooney’s character being strapped to a chair and tortured, Clooney sustained a spinal injury that ultimately required several surgeries to fix. But while his recovery process was going on, Clooney says that the pain was so unbearable that he considered suicide.

“I was at a point where I thought, ‘I can’t exist like this. I can’t actually live,’” he said in the interview. “I was lying in a hospital bed with an IV in my arm, unable to move, having these headaches where it feels like you’re having a stroke, and for a short three-week period, I started to think, ‘I may have to do something drastic about this.’

“You start to think in terms of, you don’t want to leave a mess, so go in the garage, go in the car, start the engine. It seems like the nicest way to do it, but I never thought I’d get there. See, I was in a place where I was trying to figure out how to survive.”

Since then, Clooney has underwent several surgeries to help him with the pain, but he says he still suffers from severe headaches from time to time.

Italian TV personality and former George Clooney girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis recently revealed that her relationship with George Clooney bordered on a father-daughter type relationship.

Canalis revealed details about her relationship with the A-List actor in the upcoming book Questo Amore(This Love) by Italian journalist Bruno Vespa.

In the book Canalis, 33, praised Clooney, 50, for being “the person who valued my feminine side the most” and “also one of the best people I have met from a charitable point of view.”

Revealing the “father” aspect of their relationship she said of Clooney “he has been a special for me, and very important, just as a father would be” while elaborating ”between us there was more of a father-daughter relationship. I was unable to clarify this up ’til now.”

In the book Canalis also says it wasn’t Clooney’s aversion to marriage that caused their relationship to end:

“George and I never spoke of marriage nor of having kids,” she says. “I don’t put limits to the possibility of having them, but neither George nor I had ever envisaged having kids together. The end of the relationship was not caused by a marriage issue, but instead by our personal needs.”

Clooney is now dating Stacy Keibler and in the meantime he’s still getting two thumbs up from Elisabetta Canalis, not bad for a serial dater who could have been portrayed in a different light.

The perma-bachelor has said numerous times he doesn’t plan on settling down, and has the rotating roster of ladies to prove it. His current gal pal, Stacy Keibler, actually also appeared on Dancing With the Stars, and the pair have been rumored to be hot and heavy for the past few weeks. But that wasn’t officially official until they made a public appearance together on the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival.

The couple’s first outing together wasn’t a big, flashy deal though- one observer says Keibler and Clooney were subdued as they mingled:

“There wasn’t a ton of PDA because they were both doing their own thing, but she did come back to him every once in awhile.”

Another witness got the impression Keibler was a good match for Clooney’s dudebro lifestyle:

“They have good chemistry, and she can hold her own with the boys… They both can equally be the life of the party.”

Other attendees report the couple “looked really happy and left together, as well,” but the pair did not pose for any pictures while at the Toronto Film Festival. Clooney was in attendance to support his new film, The Descendants, also starring Judy Greer and Matthew Lillard.

Clooney, who is mostly known for tomcatting around Europe and starring in the casino-heist themed series of films beginning with Ocean’s Eleven, says he has no interest in a political bid despite his outspoken political beliefs. The actor, a self-identified “liberal” who said a few years back that he did not know when the term became a “bad word,” isn’t shy when it comes to expressing his opinions on politics- he just doesn’t want President Obama’s job.

According to “multiple sources,” former Dancing With The Stars contestant and WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler and Hollywood’s most fervent confirmed bachelor George Clooney are seeing each other- just weeks after Clooney’s last relationship ended.

The salt and pepper haired hunk and ex Elisabetta Canalis confirmed their breakup at the end of June, via a joint press release simply reading:

“We are not together anymore. It’s very difficult and very personal, and we hope everyone can respect our privacy.”

An unnamed source close to the couple told Us Weekly:

“It’s more than just a fling… They’re basically exclusive at this point. They like each other’s sense of humor. Obviously they’re both physically attracted to one another.”

The source says that Clooney and Keibler have known one another for about five years, and that they reconnected through mutual friends. Another source told the gossip mag that it’s expected Clooney and Keibler will keep their relationship low profile for now- the anonymous friend said:

“I don’t see her hitting any the red carpets with him.”

George Clooney is about to wage war against 2 Italian magazines and a Paparazzi photographer after someone climbed over a wall at his compound and photographed a 13 year old girl topless who was changing her clothes in a guest bedroom on his property.

The topless photos of the topless 13 year old girl ended up being published in 2 different magazines. Photos were also taken of Clooney and his girlfriend in the yard of his estate.

Clooney is suing over the photos, telling TMZ:

“We’re suing two magazines AND a photographer. I don’t know about the law in the United States but in Italy it’s illegal for photographers to climb over my wall and to take long lens pictures of a 13-year-old girl in her bedroom. I draw the line of privacy at that.”

Outrageous! We’re with Clooney on this one. They’ve gone too far.

The chances of it being real though are somewhat less: it looks and sounds like a joke when you view the clip. We’re betting on the joke side, although some sites are suggesting it’s real. Well believe it when we see some more evidence.

What started out as a rumor is true: Bernie Mac has passed away from complications with a severe case of pneumonia, with his rep confirming the sad news:

“Actor/ comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital. No other details are available at this time. We ask that his family’s privacy continues to be respected.”

In a touching tribute to the hilarious family man, actors-slash-comedians spoke out regarding Bernie’s early, untimely, and frankly pretty surprising death (considering that his rep had just told us yesterday that he was “make a full recovery.”

According to the weirdest gossip circling the celeb world today, George Clooney and Sarah Larson may have split because he didn’t like her new, surgically-improved assets (her boobs). In Touch Weekly‘s insider stated that:

“George really didn’t want her to get the boob job. She asked George if she could do her recovery at his house and he agreed. [Then] they had a huge fight and he left the house. Sarah read in the media that they’d broken up and freaked out because George hadn’t told her anything. He had to explain himself because she’d found out with the rest of the world.”

Nice work, George, getting your PR rep to do the dirty work! You’d think a player like that would know how to handle break-ups, but apparently he’s gotten soft with fame.

The insider went on to speculate that “[Sarah] likes her new body so much that she would consider posing for Playboy. Now that she’s famous, she’d never go back to cocktailing.”

While I’m inclined to belief a lot of the “insiders” out there, they did just call Sarah “famous.” Maybe I should be a little more skeptical of our source, because famous she ain’t. I am sure of one thing: Sarah’s going to be getting a string of suitors with that new bod, and a career will probably be the last thing on her mind!

An insider for In Touch Weekly somehow managed to make George seem like the good guy while simulaltaneously making Sarah sound utterly perfect herself. What a brown nose; they’re probably for real then.
