Secondhand embarrassment hasn’t come fast enough than with the viewing of Rachel Bilson rapping in a Funny or Die video.

Rachel Bilson rapping? It’s just as bad as it sounds. The actress shouts in an undicipherable accent in response to the criticism her show Hart of Dixie’s character is unbelievable as a doctor, “Haters get two words: Doogie Howser.”  Then she goes on to list all the designer names her character wears in exchange for rapper bling.

The Hart of Dixie star isn’t the first to make fun of herself through a rap or two. The difference is the stars before her  could surprisingly rap pretty well. It was disarmingly charming to see Natalie Portman rap about drinking and getting high at Harvard in the 2006 digital skit for SNL. Even watching Anne Hathaway rip into a song a la ‘Lil Wayne was pretty entertaining.

She continues by taking a dig into former The O.C. co-star Mischa Barton, who’s show, The Beautiful Life, was cancelled by the same network that’s home to Bilson’s show, The CW.

“Summer Roberts back up on the track again/ Peaced out of ‘The O.C.’, Ben and Brody, deuces!/ Did a couple movies, drank a couple juices!/ Still they comin’ at me, like ‘Where ya been?’/ You should be askin’ Mischa Barton!”

Wondering who wrote this hit of a song? Well, it was none other than the other talented Hart of Dixie co-stars Scott Porter and Wilson Bethel.

Courtney Stodden makes a lot of people uncomfortable. Add in a handsy George Costanza and you have a truly uncomfortable video. Jason Alexander joins teen bride Courtney Stodden and her 51-year-old husband Doug Hutchinson on their Funny or Die video.

But the video is less funny and more cringe-inducing.

Alexander plays Donny Clay, the hose of The Donny Clay Show. Donny, america’s fourth leading “lifecoach,” self help guru, and motivational master, tries to help Courtney and Doug to “fortify their relationship.”

Clay introduces the couple as “17-year-old media sensation Courtney Stodden and her father Doug Hutchinson.”

Clay puts the couple through a series of relationship exercises which are actually just veiled attempts to fondle Stodden.

When Hutchinson has finally had enough with Clay’s groping hands, Donny turns around and slaps him upside the head.

At the end of every episode of the “Price is Right,” Bob Barker turned to his audience and said “remember to spay or neuter your pets.” Katherine Heigl has a sexier, funnier, more cringe inducing way of getting her point across.

Heigl says:

“I’m movie star and Maxim 100 member Katherine Heigl. I work with the Jason Debus Heigl foundation and a lot of people come up to me and say, ‘Katherine, you promote neutering so much, you must really love animals…’ But the real reason I want you to neuter your pets… I hate balls.”

Heigl and the Jason Debus Heigl foundation just launched IHateBalls.com and filmed a great PSA with Funny or Die to encourage people to neuter their pets. Heigl also posed topless on the cover of US Magazine to promote her new site.

So why does Katherine Heigl hate balls?

“5 million reasons. That’s the number of pets killed every year in shelters. Join our campaign to rid the world of crotch plums!”

The “storm is coming” ad from the anti-gay National Organization for Marriage (NOM) gained widespread controversy when it was released, and rightly so.

In the ad, NOM makes claims based on existing discrimination laws and falsely applies them to gay marriage in an attempt to scare viewers over what might happen if gay marriage became legal. You’d think watching it that the end of the world was nigh, and bizarrely NOM claims that gay marriage is a threat to freedom.

The ad was ripe for a takeoff, and now we have two. Users on Reddit got together to dub the ad, changing gay marriage to inter-racial marriage to prove that discrimination against gay couples is really no different than past bans on inter-racial marriage. Funny or Die went for a more humorous take, with a range of actors poking fun of the storm message.

The two versions following. The Funny or Die take has its moments, but the Reddit version really cuts through; it’s so good that it was given a “Homo Hero” award from Lesbian and Gay Foundation in the UK.
