Ever hear of a four eared cat? Well, you have now, and unless this is some sort of photoshop prank that duped mainstream news sites like Sky News, Yoda the four eared cat is real.

Ted and Valerie Rock rescued the cat two years ago from a bar in Chicago, Illinois, where a bunch of curious drinkers were passing him around from table to table. “Yoda” was part of a large litter and the Rock family were more than happy to take him in.

The Rocks now have to keep the rare four-eared cat indoors for fear of him being stolen. Yoda’s extra set of ears are not functional – he can’t hear with them – since they’re only extra flaps of skin.
