Transformers: Dark Of The Moon Premiering At Moscow International Film Festival

Transformers: Dark of the Moon will debut in 3D next month at the Moscow International Film Festival.

Michael Bay will be in attendance for the show which will take place at the Pushkinsky Cinema Theatre in Moscow on June 23.

Also expected to join the premiere are film stars Shia LaBeouf, Patrick Dempsey, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Malkovich, and Megan Fox replacement Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

The special premiere also marks the first time in festival history that an American film with an American cast has opened the festival. It also marks the first world premiere for a film at the Russian event.

The movie will debut in America in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D on June 29.

Mariah Carey Will Be Back on the Big Screen

Mariah Carey did not take her Razzie Award for her Glitter performance to heart– she’s going to be back in December in Tennessee. To refresh your memory, this was the film that prompted Mariah to buy out all the economy class tickets on a plane in order to travel. Have her diva ways improved? Probably not, but let’s hope that her acting skills have. Star reports:

Vivendi Entertainment has acquired domestic distribution rights for Mariah’s road trip drama Tennessee, which premiered last spring at the Tribeca Film Festival. The drama is about two money-challenged brothers who take to the road to resolve their economic and health challenges. Along the way they meet a waitress — played by the one and only Mariah — whose dreams of a singing career have been dashed by a bad marriage.

Are you ready for this one? I might dare to see it, since it’s been seven years since Mariah’s Razzie, and I feel like she deserves another chance. Then again, I also love trainwrecks, so I’ll be happy either way.

Are you the kind of moviegoer who likes going home feeling good? The Feel Good Film Festival is a must-event for you then. Taking place at the historic Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles, the first of this annual event will commence with screenings of short and feature length films with happy endings, makes audiences laugh, or one that captures the beauty of the world (whatever that is). In short, audiences will feel better than when they first started watching the films.

Rain Wilson (The Rocker, Juno, Dwight of The Office) will set the tone as Opening Night Host of this film festival where winning films are expected to be entertaining, optimistic, humorous, or heartwarming.

Examples of feel good films are: Finding Nemo, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Bowfinger, Bend it Like Beckham, Rudy, It’s a Wonderful Life. How about you, what’s your feel good movie?
