Eva Mendes uses her sexuality to get work.

The ‘Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans’ actress, who posed nude for a Calvin Klein perfume advertisement campaign, is happy to bare all for a film role and doesn’t mind being hired for her looks.

She said, “I don’t allow myself to be typecast, but when I have to turn up the heat and turn up the sexuality and I do an amazing Calvin Klein campaign it’s very conscious, that’s no accident. It’s very methodical on my part.

“If I feel it’s appropriate to show some nudity in the scenes then I go for it. As much as I use my sexuality, I have never felt exploited. I feel like it’s on my terms and I have no problem with it.”

The 35-year-old actress insists she wants to continue challenging herself with her work, revealing she still goes to school to boost her acting skills.

She added, “I want crazier, edgier, darker, and grittier. I am still a student, I still go to acting class. he darker, more conflicted, the more flawed the better.”

New York, NY (CNS) – Another Calvin Klein underwear ad featuring the sultry Eva Mendes is raising the ire of New Yorkers. The ad, which shows the Latina beauty in her underwear tugging on a man’s boxer briefs, is said to be too sexy for a billboard space.

The billboard, which is situated in SoHo, has been branded too suggestive and sexy.

A Queens worker told New York Daily News that the ad is “borderline pornography,” while another one said it’s as “sexy as hell.”

This is not the first time a Calvin Klein ad raised the ire of some viewers.

Last year, Mendes’ TV commercial was pulled out from the U.S. airwaves for being too sexy. The 35-year-old actress appeared in nude in the ad, with some shots exposing her nipples.

And just this summer, CK pulled an orgy-themed ad after being inundated by complaints. That billboard featured a teenage girl in a threesome with two men.

Eva Mendes is sick of the lies! The gorgeous actress says that her sexy cross-country road romp story is utter fabrication, along with her bashing of Jennifer Lopez. The journos get credit for some amazing skills in the making-up department: I wonder if any of them worked for UK Cosmo? Just kidding.

Here’s what Eva has to say:

Lie 1
When Eva headed to Cirque this past February to “proactively attend to some personal issues,” according to her rep, word went around that she had a nasty coke habit. Eva’s response:

“Well, that is completely false! Completely, completely, totally, totally false! There’s a couple of things that have been printed — so terrible! And it’s still new to me.”

Lie 2
Eva was rumored to have insulted Jennifer Lopez, saying that she concentrated on her acting while Lopez “manages her career like the head of a big corporation.” MSN Gossip claims:

Eva’s ostensible snipe got a second wind when it was recycled on several blogs in October, but she insists to Allure, “I didn’t say that! That is so awful. And I am not an idiot.”

Lie 3
Lastly, Eva supposedly took a cross-country trip and made a sexy stop in many states, eventually racking up experience in all 50. Eva’s comments:

“I supposedly told a reporter I had taken a crazy road trip when I was younger and had sex in all 50 states,” explains Mendes. “The story went on to say what my favorite states to have sex in were [note: Arizona and Colorado -- you're welcome]. I found it so upsetting. Because I have a certain image out there. And I’m responsible for that image. And I stand by it. No apologies.”

Frank Miller’s anticipated followup to 300, The Spirit, is due our Christmas Day and there’s a new 30 second trailer.

A source has told the National Enquirer that celebrity and Training Days actress Eva Mendes maintains her beautiful looks by hanging upside down.

Its not a bat, its a batty model, sorry actress. Apparently the beauty “regime” of hanging upside down causes the blood to rush to her head, giving her a “youthful, flushed complexion”. It certainly also explains the dazed look she perpetually walks around with.

This “regime” will also no doubt come as a surprise to Revlon Cosmetics, who Eva Mendes is currently a spokesperson for and if you believe the sales pitch is also responsible for that youthful complexion.

Eva Mendes recently slammed Jennifer Lopez in a “Please Don’t Compare Me” speech. Since J. Lo is a total diva, I don’t blame Eva for not wanting to get lumped in the same category:

“It makes me more proud. I’m sure if it was for some kind of independent brand that wasn’t as iconic as Calvin Klein I don’t think I would have done it because that’s too much of a risk. But when its Calvin Klein and it’s (fashion photographer) Steve Meisel shooting you and you get to be a part of this amazing iconic brand and their legacy you just kind of go for it.”

Somehow Eva Mendes manages to make even chewing her toenails look incredibly hot. Italian Vogue pulled a wildly sexy photoshoot out of its European bag of tricks. It hasn’t been well-received by Americans per se, but it’s certainly worth a browse for the weirdness: cream-smearing, breast-squashing, mesh-licking goodness (NSFW Link Here).

A photoshoot this interesting will definitely help her in the ways of publicity for her newest project “Queen of the South,” or at least her support of Linked Against Leukemia. Some good’s got to come out of it, right?
