In not so surprising news, Eva Longoria has decided that she’s had enough of ex-husband and basketball player, Tony Parker in her life.

According to sources at TMZ  This Wednesday Longoria consulted famous tattoo removal guy Dr. Tattoff for a full removal of a “NINE” tattoo she has on her neck. The number “NINE” is Tony Parker’s number on the San Antonio Spurs.

The actress has previously tried to remove the tattoo in the past, but had trouble.

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker were married in a lavish wedding on July 11th, 2007 in Paris and were married until 2010. Amidst rumors that Tony Parker cheated on Longoria, the actress filed for divorce on November 17th, 2010 citing “irreconcilable differences”.

Recently the actress spoke out about her sudden weight loss following her divorce in Health Magazine. “I remember after my divorce, I was so thin and everyone kept saying how great I looked and it was probably the most unhealthy place I’ve ever been.” Longoria continued, “It takes a village to build me for the red carpet. It’s an illusion created by stylists, hair, makeup. I don’t put as much effort into it as my team does.”

Recently Eva Longoria has found love with auto mechanic and Penelope Cruz’s little brother, Eduardo Cruz.

The Daily Mail reports that Longoria, 36, and Cruz, 25, held hands and snuggled up as they enjoyed time with close friends and took in the sights Miami has to offer.

Later in the day the couple – who went public with their relationship in February, after they were spotted hanging out together – joined Scottie Pippen and wife Larsa for dinner at Casa Tua in Miami Beach and were again seen hand-in-hand as they made their way to the restaurant.

Relationships aside, Eva has been busy hard at work on her new movie, The Truth – an action thriller which tells the story of an ex-CIA operative who is now working as a political talk show host. Andy Garcia and Forest Whitaker are also joining Longoria on screen for the flick which is set to hit theaters sometime in 2012.

In addition to working on the upcoming film, Longoria is also scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the Lozano Long Conference, “Central Americans and the Latino/a Landscape: New Configurations of Latino/a America,” which kicks off February 23.

“I am so excited to speak at this event! Hope my fellow Texans can make it!” Eva, who’ll be addressing some of the challenges in the changing character of the Latino population, tweeted.

Longoria, who divorced San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker in 2010, was rumored to be dating Matt after New York Post’s Page Six – dedicated to all things gossip – speculated that the 36-year-old beauty “may have her eye on a new baller”.

According to the paper’s source, Barnes and Longoria were “very flirty” while dining with friends at Il Mulino, Greenwich Village on Thursday night, October 27.

“There was definitely a spark between Eva and Matt.” The Post quoted their spy as saying. “They weren’t seated next to each other, but you could tell there was something between them. There was a little hand-holding over the table and a lot of eye contact.”

Although the Page Six item included a statement from Longoria’s rep that the pair were just “friends,” Longoria didn’t appreciate Page Six’s speculation.

“First Jessica Simpson, now this,” she wrote on her WhoSay page — obviously referring to the constant rumors about Simpson’s pregnancy. “Once again, press gets it wrong, Matt barnes and I are not dating!”

Further squashing the Post’s misleading story, Eva added:

“We are doing a charity event together for Padres and Athletes vs Cancer,” she continued. “Why is the truth never the headline? why did I bother to comment when they put your statement at end of articles? #stillannoying”

As per the reports, Eva Longoria is currently dating Eduardo Cruz, a singer and the younger brother of Hollywood actress Penelope Cruz. The couple was first spotted together on a yacht in Miami in February this year.

Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria is under hot water by film distributor Maya Entertainment. In the actresses new movie Without Men she engages in lesbian scenes and Spain’s distributor has pulled those scenes from the movie.

Maya Entertainment sent a notice to a local festival director about the cut scenes and shortly afterwards the festival director cancelled the films showing.

Without Men follows the story of a Latin American village of women who attempt to rebuild their town after all of the towns men are recruited by communist guerrillas. The movie which also stars Christian Slater was released on DVD in June throughout the United States.

Speaking to the Associated Press Xavier Daniel, director of the Barcelona International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival said:

“We are very angry that a distributor can modify the content of a film. The audience will not understand the film, because all the lesbian scenes are cut out … It is unbelievable in the year 2011.”

At this time Maya Entertainment has not explained their homophobia based reasoning for cutting the scenes.

Do you find it ridiculous as Xavier states that a film company in 2011 is so homophobic that they would actually cut apart a movie because of lesbian scenes?

There has been plenty of talk about the highest paid actor on television (formerly Charlie Sheen and currently Ashton Kutcher) but what about the highest paid actress? Forbes has just released its list of “Hollywood’s Highest-Paid TV Actresses” and Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and 30 Rock star Tina Fey are on the top of the list.

Tina Fey and Eva Longoria both pulled in $13 million between May 2010 and May 2011. In comparison, it would take Charlie Sheen about 10 episodes to make that much. His successor, Mr. Kutcher, is currently making about $700,000 per episode.

So Fey and Longoria may be underpaid compared to their male counterparts, but both actresses are still doing pretty well for themselves.

Fey is both the producer, head writer, and lead actor of 30 Rock. The NBC show hasn’t been bringing in massive ratings, but Fey’s loyal following has helped DVDs fly off the shelves. Forbes reports that 30 Rock is also now in syndication on both Fox and Comedy Central. Fey also just sold the millionth copy of her book Bossy Pants. 

Longoria and the Desperate Housewives cast (all four housewives are on Forbes’ list) have made millions from the show, but Longoria also pulls in a pretty penny from lucrative endorsement deals with L’Oreal and LG.

Soap come drama come occasional bitch fest Desperate Housewives will be back next year, and every year until 2013, which a spy tells us is the year the guarantee on Eva Longoria’s plastic surgery runs out.

The show has rated well this year despite tired cast and poor story line, but perhaps overplayed escapism is hot this recession, how else could you explain another 5 years of overpaid acting.

Desperate Housewives first hit ABC in 2004 and stars Teri Hatcher as Susan Mayer, Felicity Huffman as Lynette Scavo, Marcia Cross as Bree Hodge, Eva Longoria Parker as Gabrielle Solis, Nicollette Sheridan as Edie Britt and, from season four onwards, Dana Delany as Katherine Mayfair. Not long after news broke that Microsoft had dumped Jerry Seinfield from the current $300 million Windows campaign, the New York Times reported that the second stage of the campaign would highlight everyday Windows users, such as Eva Longoria, Deepak Chopra and Pharrell Williams, sharing with the world how they love and use Microsoft products.

The new phase of the campaign will include a head on challenge to Apple’s Mac vs PC campaign, complete with a John Hodgman clone (pic top left) saying that he’s a PC and a stereotype, before the everyday people share their stories. Other everyday people to feature in the campaign include scientists, fashion designers and shark hunters, the sort of people average folk can relate to.

As I’ve said previously, I’ll hold back on my judgment until I see the ad, and it can’t be any worse that the first phase. At least this time there’s a message…sort of Marketing 101 for first year marketing students who don’t take crack.

I was actually glad to see snaps of Eva Longoria looking like, I don’t know, everyone else. . . a little cellulite just makes her more relatable. Eva’s someone who comes off as staggeringly perfect despite the fact that she’s been known to complain about her weight, but voila! Now I like her so much more. Plus, when I think about her “working out” last year, the minor lumps and bumps make more sense. (Still, totally normal. Who doesn’t slack from time to time?)

Now we just need to rule out whether or not she’s pregnant. She does have a bit of a bump in Portofino. . .
