Randy Travis has filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife Elizabeth Travis in which he claims that she formed a plot to ruin his career and cheat him out of his hard earned cash.

Travis and his ex-wife were together for 30 years and during that time she also served as his business manager, however Randy Travis claims that despite a contract which required her to never reveal details about his personal life she ran around town spreading rumors in an attempt to torpedo his career.

While Randy has not said what those “personal details” are his accusatory tone seems to signal some pretty bad specifics.

Travis also claims that his ex-wife tried to defraud him by inflating her travel reimbursement requests to claim more of his hard earned cash.

Randy Travis filed his lawsuit shortly after Elizabeth Travis filed a lawsuit of her own in which she claims Randy breached their contract when he fired her in 2011. Elizabeth Travis is asking that she be paid her full management fee, however if she loses her case against Travis its likely her contract will be voided.

Randy specifically asks that judge block his ex-wife from any future earnings given her breach of contract.

The judge overseeing the case has yet to rule.

We thought divorce proceedings between celebrities were bad but this is why you should never get into bed with your significant other when it comes to business, because marriage contracts are one thing, business contracts on the other hand effect people you work with on a professional level outside of your marriage.
