The Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries divorce is going to descend into Chaos.  TMZ is reporting that Kris Humphries intends to make a stand against the reality star by putting not only her and her family on trial but the whole reality TV industry.

Sources tell TMZ that Humphries intends on making his case before the judge that Kardashian was never interested in staying married to him.  She just wanted to marry him and use the publicity to increase her brand awareness and bring higher ratings to her show.

Funny enough, Humphries intends to put the whole trial onto the internet and TV.  Humphries has asked the judge for permission to allow TMZ to fil the whole trial.

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.  Humphries countered by filing for an annulment on the basis of fraud.  Legal experts are saying that Humphries is going to have a huge problem with his case.  The first major problem is that he proposed to Kim.  The second is that while he might be claiming that the reality star wanted to gain from the sham marriage, he wound up being the real beneficiary as he is now way more recognized and marketable as a result of the marriage.

Another major factor in Kim’s favor is the prenup.  Kim went to the hassle of having an extremely long and complicated prenuptual agreement written up and signed.  The prenup states what is to happen between the couple for years and years into the future. A person looking to end a marriage after a few months would not have gone through all the trouble of having the prenup so intricate.

Following an ugly divorce battle that continues to rage on L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services under the guidance of their divorce judge has recommend that Nahla, 3-year-old daughter of Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry receive counseling.

While no allegations have been received against Halle endangering her daughter the couple’s nanny said recently that Gabriel screams at Nahla regularly and even violently yanked the little girl out of the nanny’s arms and pushed the nanny while Nahla was being held after she confronted him for pulling little Nahla out of school for no reason.

The former couple were due in court on Monday where Halle is expected to ask the judge that Gabriel have no contact with Nahla until a criminal child endangerment investigation can be completed against him.

In turn Gabriel is asking that a restraining order be placed against the nanny which would lead to her firing. Gabriel claims that the nanny is working for Halle in an attempt to make up stories and hurt his custody and divorce battle.

While Gabriel Aubry has made the claim against the nanny he was also agreed to enroll in anger management classes to control his temper. It makes me wonder why he would need to enroll in a class if he truly didn’t do anything wrong and is part of some vast Halle Berry and nanny led conspiracy against him.

Apparently we’re not the only one’s who can’t stand Kenny G, the alto playing saxaphonist and his wife of 20 years Balynda “Lyndie” Benson-Gorelick are calling it quits and getting a divorce.

Benson-Gorelick made the first move on Jan. 9 when she headed into an L.A. County Superior Court and filed for divorce while citing the typically used “irreconcilable differences.”

Along with her filing Balynda asked for full physical custody of their only minor child Noah who is 14-years-old. The couple’s other son is no longer a minor.

In the meantime the couple could be headed for a messy divorce as Balynda hired high powered divorce attorney to the stars Gary Fishbein (Gabriel Aubry, Nikki Six) and Kenny G has countered with a high-profile attorney of his own Laura Wasser (Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie and Kim Kardashian). Then again the couple could just be securing the type of attorneys recommend to them by various Hollywood couples.

I can’t blame her, I wouldn’t want to listen to this all day either:

Reps for the couple are not answering questions at this time so speculation over the cause of the divorce remains unknown.

Cal Worthington has been in the car business for more than 57 years, selling more than one million vehicles while earning the title “Greatest Car Salesman in the World” and now he’s participated in one of the least loved car salesman traits of all, the repossession. But this wasn’t your typical vehicle, it turns out Worthington, 91, and wife Anna, 42, are getting divorced and he repo’d her Bentley.

Making matters worst Cal had the Bentley towed from outside of Anna’s moms house and then said she should be driving the same 2004 Chrysler Sebring she was using for transportation before they wed.

Before the senior citizen married his much younger wife he had a prenup drawn up which Worthington claims leaves her with just $4,000 per month for 6 months and then nothing.

Anna on the other hand says her $3.25 million Beverly Hills mansion was a wedding gift from her soon-to-be ex-husband, which in turn entitles her to keep the property, a claim Worthington says is complete BS. In fact Cal Worthington has petitioned a judge to block Anna from entering the mansion.

In the meantime Anna has hired former Kevin Federline divorce lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan. Anna says she needed a high profile lawyer to “insure [Cal] does not leave me on the street without any means to live.”

Perhaps she wouldn’t have needed such a big time lawyer if she never agreed to a prenuptial agreement in the first place, after all who really believes a 42-year-old would want to marry a 91-year-old guy for love.

Sinead O’Connor- the Irish singer who has seemingly never managed to do something not controversial over the course of her career- got married in Vegas a few weeks ago after a very brief courtship.

Prior to committing a fourth time to the institution of marriage, O’Connor had been publicly complaining of sexual frustration as well as eyeing up certain phallic vegetables in her desperation. And by her description, the wedding night in Vegas was a bit of a clusterfracas, with a quest for some dope landing her in a crack den.

When announcing the divorce after sixteen days of marriage, O’Connor wrote:

“there was intense pressure placed upon him by certain people in his life, not to be involved with me. Within 3 hours of the ceremony being over the marriage was kyboshed by the behaviour of certain people in my husband’s life and also by a bit of a wild ride i took us on looking for a bit of a smoke of weed for me wedding night as I don’t drink.”

However, O’Connor wrote in Twitter stone today that the marriage is back on. I mean, who wants to throw away sixteen days over a little matter of honeymooning in a crack den? Nobody. And certainly not Sinead O’Connor. (Did we mention she has an album to promote right now?)

The reconciliation can be reasonably inferred from O’Connor’s tweets, in which she writes:

A subscriber asks if the tweet means the divorce is off, to which O’Connor responds:

News that Perry and Russell Brand were divorcing came last Friday, and while the split seems amicable enough – Brand has said he will “always adore” the 27-year-old pop singer – it could end up with Perry handing over $30 million to Brand. Ouch.

The NY Daily News reports how Perry’s estimated $70 million fortune dwarfs Brand’s not-inconsiderable $17 million net worth. Due to the automatic 50/50 split of any couple’s earnings in Californian divorce law, Perry may find herself severely out of pocket. Does Brand adore her enough to leave her riches alone?

The split of the high profile couple followed rumors of persistent fighting. The pair spent Christmas apart with Perry in Hawaii and Brand, 36, in his native London. Both were photographed not wearing their wedding rings. Since then, not too much has been heard from the stars themselves, though Brand did tell a Daily Star reporter who approached him at the weekend:

“I’m doing good. Everything is going to be better next year.”

A source close to the couple spoke to the Star, claiming the split was down to egotism. Specifically – and this may amaze you – Brand’s. The Star‘s mole said:

“I don’t think Russell liked that Katy was the bigger star. He’d pick her to pieces over the most trivial things. I believe the filing of this divorce was as childish as many of their arguments. It was a case of ‘I’m dumping you before you can dump me’, a total pride thing.”

Why anyone is surprised by this tidbit of information is beyond me but it seems that a growing number of people are implicating social media services like Facebook and Twitter as part of the reason for their divorces.

According to a new study from Divorce Online the numbers are on the increase with Facebook being cited in 33% of “unreasonable behavior petitions” in 2011 which represents a rise of 13% over the service’s previous figures from 2009.

They arrived at this number by surveying a sample of 5,000 divorces where Facebook behavior with the opposite sex played an integral part of the divorce claims.

The top three reasons were:

1 – Inappropriate messages to members of the opposite sex

2 - Separated spouses posting nasty comments about each other

3 – Facebook friends reporting spouse’s behavior

Divorce Online’s spokesman had this to say about the numbers:

“Social networking has become the primary tool for communication and is taking over from text and e-mail in my opinion. If someone wants to have an affair or flirt with the opposite sex then it’s the easiest place to do it. Also, the use of Facebook to make comments about ex-partners to friends has become extremely common with both sides using Facebook to vent their grievances against each other. People need to be careful what they write on their Walls as the courts are seeing these posts being used in financial disputes and children cases as evidence.”

The man, identified only as ‘Antonio C,’ discovered letters from more than six decades ago that revealed his wife, named as ‘Rosa C’ in court papers, had been unfaithful.

The couple are now set to become the oldest divorcees ever, a record nobody would wish to hold. They’ll be taking the title from Brits Bertie and Jessie Wood, both 98, who split in 2009 after 36 years of being together.

Antonio C and Rosa C have been married for even longer than the Woods – 77 years. They met in the 1930s while Antonio served as part of the Italian Carabinieri in Rosa’s native Naples.

However, since finding letters from his wife’s old flame in a chest of drawers just prior to Christmas, Antonio has decided to call time on the marriage, despite much reported pleading from Rosa. Italian news agency UPI blames the split on the couple’s southern blood.

The pair have had five kids, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild together.

As for his wife, Katy Perry is still vacationing in Hawaii where she has been situated since deciding to spend Christmas away from her hubby following their holiday spat.

Speaking of the couple’s argument E! Online reported from a source:

“They had a massive fight… She was like, ‘F–k you. I’m going to do my own thing.’ Russell replied, ‘Fine, f–k you too.”

The couple have been married just a little over a year, wedding in October 2010. At the time of their announced nuptials many critics jumped on the fact that Brand is a known sex addict while Perry’s parents are religious loving preachers.

You may also recall that Katy Perry was spotted sans wedding ring less than one week ago, around the time of the alleged fight.

Since getting hitched Perry and Brand have been adamant about the strength of their marriage, quickly shooting down rumors that their wedded bliss wouldn’t last. Now as of Thursday the couples reps are remaining mum on the entire situation, going oddly silent based on the couple’s quick responses to such rumors in the past.

Mel Gibson was officially divorced in a Los Angeles courtroom on Friday and it’s being reported that his ex-wife Robyn Denise Moore will collect half of his $850 million fortune. He $425 million settlement is the highest amount ever paid in a Hollywood divorce.

Married for 30 years with seven children the couple didn’t have a prenup when they divorced which under California law provides Robyn with 50 percent of the couples full estate.

While Gibson had various successful movies and TV projects over his career it’s the $600 million he earned for producing The Passion of the Christ that provided for a bulk of the divorce settlement.

Already transferred to Robyn are two Malibu homes worth a combined $22.5 million.

In the meantime Robyn will receive half of every residual check Mel Gibson receives for the rest of her life for any movies and other projects he was involved in when they were married.

Mel Gibson and Robyn Denise Moore began divorce proceeding after Mel Gibson began an affair with and fathered a child alongside Oksana Grigorieva. The divorce was filed in a sworn statement by Robyn in July 2010. During the divorce she called Mel Gibson a “wonderful and loving father.”

The couple met in the 1970s when Robyn at the time was a dental assistant.

Irish singer Sinead O’Connor proves that nothing good can come out of a drive thru wedding in Las Vegas.  Sinead, who was married for the fourth time this year, ended her romance after just 16 days she announced on her website.

O’Connor and boyfriend Barry Herridge tied the knot while celebrating the star’s 45th birthday in Las Vegas

In a released statement the singer said “there was intense pressure placed upon him by certain people in his life, not to be involved with me. Sinead O’Connor divorced her third husband Steve Cooney earlier this year..  After their split, O’Connor wrote on her blog that her marriage had been nothing but sexual frustration for her and she was open for business looking for a new lover.

She was previously married to music producer John Reynolds and journalist Nicholas Sommerlad and has four children.

According to TMZ, Maria Shriver is reconsidering her divorce from the Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Sources are saying that Shriver is citing her deep religious beliefs and that Arnold Schwarzenegger was working hard to win her back.  He has supposedly been buying her tons of gifts and has been very sweet to her and has told her repeatedly she wants him back.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife split after revelations that he had fathered a child with one of his domestic servants during the time he was married.

Shriver filed for divorce last year citing “irreconcilable differences”  She is seeking spousal support and attorney’s fees.  Analysts have estimated that the divorce could be one of the most expensive celebrity divorces in history.  Schwarzenegger is estimated to be worth about $500 million dollars.  His wife, under California law is entitles to half of that amount.

Actor Joel Moore has filed for divorce from wife Kineret Karen Ben Yishay Moore. Moore, best known for his role as Norm Spellman in Avatar and Colin Fisher on the Fox hit series Bones was wed on New Year’s Day 2009.

The couple separated in June of this year and TMZ is reporting that it was Joel who officially filed for divorce on Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

According to the filing the divorce was caused by the standard ”irreconcilable differences.”

The couple have no children together and there doesn’t appear to be any outward public animosity on the part of either partner at this time.

With Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian set to reunite in Minnesota for talks about their failed 72-day marriage, Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner has revealed her 31-year-old daughter “just really needed to talk to him!”

Speaking to Extra, Jenner said:

“Kim is a hopeless romantic. So she wants the fairy tale. She wanted to get married and have babies and raise a family and the white picket fence and all that comes with that. She’s a really good person with a huge heart. Whatever decisions Kim is making right now, she’s a very smart girl and she’s gonna do the right thing. All I can do is wrap my arms around her and make sure she’s okay.”

The fact her daughter filed for divorce after such a short marriage surprised Jenner, who described it as “not the ideal situation. It’s not how I expected things to happen, for sure.”

Yet the 56-year-old mom of six also believes it is important for her to remain calm amongst the mess of the split:

“[My children] need me to be strong for them, so that they can show their emotions,” she said. “[Kim] She needs to do what she’s doing, and cry and figure it out.”

This is not the first time Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian have met since the divorce was filed. Jenner confirmed that the couple had met with their wedding pastor for talks over the weekend. A source told US Weekly that Kardashian has “wanted to see [Kris] face to face to put some finality on it. To give them both some closure.”

What Kardashian fails to mention is that she charged $17.9m for the rights to televise and cover her wedding (sold to E! Entertainment and magazines). That works out at just under $10,000 for every hour she was hitched to Humphries, which may explain the generally high levels of cynicism.

Since the Kardashian divorce, E! has released a statement denying rumors it orchestrated the TV wedding. E! Entertainment president Suzanne Kolb also stated that the divorce is unlikely to affect Kardashian professionally:

“I don’t even know if Kim has had a chance to emotionally process this the way that she needs to. I don’t have any indication that this is going to change her career path.”

Still, E! can’t really complain. The wedding scored massive ratings, and the channel is going ahead with its plans to re-run the wedding in prime time Wednesday and Thursday slots this week. Isn’t that grotesquely insensitive? Er, YES. Not according to Kolb, who sounds impressively free of shame:

“We are a topical network and this is a topic at the moment.

Suggestions that Kardashian’s marriage was a hoax are still flying thick and fast from all corners. Robert Thompson, director of the Center for the Study of Popular Television at Syracuse University, opines:

“With a television family such as the Kardashians, I don’t know if the distinction between reality and contrivance means anything anymore. [...] Chevy manufactures cars out of their assembly line. The Kardashians manufacture stories like these. This is what they do. This is their product.”

In a separate interview with an Australian TV channel, Kardashian said she’s yet to decide on what will happen to her 20.5-carat engagement ring, or with the gifts she received from her wedding. A scant two months after tying the knot in a ceremony that is rumored to have cost about $10 million, Kris Humphries says he is “blindsided” by new wife Kim Kardashian’s divorce filing.

Humphries is said to have discovered his wife wanted out the way everyone else did- by reading a TMZ post. But the NBA free agent says that he was “blindsided” by the news and he doesn’t want his marriage to Kim to end. He offered a statement to TMZ:

“I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce… I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”

The statement does run contrary to an earlier post on TMZ today detailing the couple’s reactions to the breakup, where the site indicates that sources close to the couple say “it’s not a nasty break-up … but we’re told the two have come to a realization that it’s not a long-term fit.”

Although Kim has been silent about the divorce on Twitter, keeping banter to her 10 million fans restricted to upcoming appearance, sister Khloe has addressed the backlash on her account. She fumes:

Reading some these comments r so hurtful. Im grateful 4our fans who understand & r being respectful. Hate is disgusting. Love is everything. Thank God for family. We are strong and we will only become closer! I love YOU[.]

TMZ also says that the breakup was ultimately due to Humphries’ desire to live in his home state of Minnesota, while Kardashian wished to stay in Los Angeles for her career and to be near the Kardashian clan.

Inquisitr has reported last October 21st about Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries getting divorced, so this news is just a confirmation that it is indeed happening.

Kardashian is apparently citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. She is represented by the lawyer of celebrities Laura Wasser. She’s the same one who represented such stars as Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, and Robyn Gibson.

There is a prenuptial agreement so everything is safe with Kim. As for Kris, he can always go back to playing basketball. Oh wait, there’s an NBA lockout. What do you suggest can Kris start doing while there’s still that uncertainity with the NBA?

But – and where J.Lo is concerned, it’s a big but – it may not be so final. Star reports that ‘a source close to the couple’ are attempting to patch things up for the sake of their twins, Emme and Max.

This fresh speculation follows an incident over the weekend in which Lopez broke down on stage while performing what she called “the last song [she] wrote about love.” Straight after her emotional outburst, Star writes that Lopez attended an event she was booked for many months ago, only to bump into Anthony at said event.

This, says the site, gave the couple time to talk over their marriage for the first time since they announced their split on July 15th. Since then, the pair have simply not been around one another due to various career commitments.

Star‘s anonymous source states:

“Jennifer does not want to get divorced and it willing to patch things up. But Marc has a lot of changing to do in order to win her back.”

While that statement seems to suggest Marc Anthony was unfaithful, nobody outside of the couple seems to know the truth. Indeed, early rumors suggested it was Lopez’s infidelity that led to the split.

Talk about bad timing, Boston Red Sox pitcher John Lackey filed for divorce in the last month from his wife Krista Lackey as she undergoes treatment for breast cancer.

According to reports Lackey filed for divorce on August 30 and according to a Texas court document he cited that “the marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities.”

The couple were wed in 2008 and a source close to TMZ says Krista underwent a double mastectomy in March while beginning chemotherapy in June.

In the divorce petition it has been revealed that the couple did have a prenuptial agreement and that John has some “separate property” he plans to keep for himself.

Following in the footsteps of Sandra Bullock and Jesse James the couple only used their initials when filing their divorce papers, a move that allowed their breakup to stay under the presses radar for a bit longer than usual.

The filing comes at an odd time as Lackey continues to play through the rest of his rather pitiful MLB season.

At this time no official statements have been made by John or Krista.
