Saints Row 4 invites you to meet its sociopathic superhero president.

A new trailer has been released for Saints Row 4 inviting you to “Meet the president,” and shows off just how over the top the gameplay scenarios will get. The sequel to the once gangster based series Saints Row takes the series in a new direction, going for reality-shattering gameplay rather than the serious vibes of its predecessors.

In Saints Row 4, you play as the President of the US one year after the events of Saints Row 3. An alien invasion has begun and you, as Commander-in-Chief, must fight them off with what appears to be super powers and weird and crazy weapons including a dildo bat and a head inflating gun. Steelport rings of the changes from Enter the Dominatrix, and Saints Row 4 pushes it right to the edge of ridiculous.

The trailer begins with the narrator, who sounds a lot like Optimus Prime of Transformers fame, telling us what’s going on as we see a profile of Earth from space. “In a time of national crisis, we need a Commander-in-Chief willing to kick politics … right in the balls.”

We see the President in a purple suit punting a man in the groin and sending him flying from a rooftop into a billboard which says, “Do not run, surrender yourself, friendly fire.” The sign has a target dummy and the man bounces right off the head of it and into the street below, where he is run over by an ambulance for a bit of extra ironic humor.  This is likely to be the insane running theme in Saints Row 4.

We then see the President walking away from what appears to be a government building with Post Office drop boxes out front. Some dubstep music kicks in as we see the words on the screen, “The most powerful president ever.” Then we see him running along with huge sparks at his feet and jumping over a wall with a broken railing.

Kobe Bryant is not scared to talk a little trash to anyone who willing to step onto the court with him … this includes President Obama.

According to Hollyscoop, Kobe Bryant has been making frequent visits to the White House.

Kobe sat down with Ellen DeGeneres for a chat on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday. The topic of trash talking during a pick up game of basketball between Kobe and President Obama came up.

Kobe told Ellen that it was a unique experience having Obama talk smack to him and in-return being able to trash talk America’s commander-in-chief.

“He talks a lot of trash,” Kobe tells Ellen. “Because you know he’s from Chicago. The Bulls through and through. He always talks Bulls this, the Bulls that…I’m like, my goodness. Can I talk trash to the President? Is that allowed?  Is that frowned upon?”

When Ellen asked if Kobe returned the trash talk, in order to protect his pride and dignity, Kobe answered saying, “Of course I did. I couldn’t help it.

President Obama was actually able to hold his own against the Lakers star.

“He’s very, very good,” he says, adding that, sometimes, you’ve got to let the other guy win, especially win that other guy is the leader of the free world.

“The thing that’s interesting is that if he makes a nice move…you kind of catch yourself,” Koby says. “I’m going to steal the ball from him…Then all the sudden I start peaking around looking for the CIA.  You know I should just let him go.”

I would have probably done the same thing if I was in Kobe’s position … there’s no point in having the secret service swarm you for accidentally assaulting the President.

Senator John McCain is slamming President Barack Obama for his claims that the series of national intelligence leaks did not come from within the White House administration.

When asked whether the President knew directly that the leaks were coming from within, McCain responded to CNN, saying:

“I have no idea whether the president knew or did not know. I have never alleged such a thing.  But I have alleged that if you look at the information that’s been leaked, again, that information in the book says that several officials said that they had to remain anonymous who gave this information because they would lose their jobs. Well, why would they possibly lose their jobs if they weren’t leaking information that has to do with national security?  So, I mean, it’s obvious on its face that this information came from individuals who are in the administration. The president may not have done it himself, but the president is certainly responsible as commander-in-chief.”

President Obama denied that the leaks came from the White House and called the claims “offensive” in regards to whether they were purposefully leaked to make him look strong on national security.

Demanding an investigation, Republicans are seeking an independent counsel to review the case and determine the facts.

“If it is — and it certainly is — the most egregious breach of intelligence in anybody’s memory, that certainly requires a special counsel who is completely independent,” McCain said.

California Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein insists that if an investigation is prompted then it must be after the initial probe findings before they discuss an independent counsel to investigate.

“The investigation has to be nonpartisan, it’s got to be vigorous and it’s got to move ahead rapidly,” says Feinstein.

In the latest video to set the internet ablaze, President Barack Obama takes the opportunity to join in on the fun and do his own rendition of Carly Rae Jepsen’s chart topping radio hit “Call Me Maybe”.

It’s pretty hard not to let out at least a small chuckle seeing the POTUS take part in a trend that has stretched the globe in lip syncing this undeniably catchy tune.

Thanks to YouTuber Fidel Saleh, operating under the moniker barackdubs, we get a rather humorous 1 minute and 47 seconds of a very well put together rendition of the song as performed by our Commander in Chief.

This video comes on the heels of many other notable versions of Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe”, originating with Harvard’s baseball team creating a special dance in a 15-passenger van. Their video has reached a respectable 12 million views since it was published on YouTube.

Other notable performances of the teenybopper’s hit include Donald Tump and the Miss USA girls, SMU women’s rowing team, and the “Don’t Call Me Baby” parody sitting at 7 million views.

Overall it seems as though Jepsen’s hit has created more YouTube sensations than any other video that I’ve ever seen, and it sadly has not shown any signs of slowing down in the near future.

However, I do feel that the incumbent President’s version is the most entertaining video of them all as it’s always amusing to see a government official take part in a YouTube sensation, even if it isn’t by choice.
