The Basketball Wives starlet and her New England Patriots wide receiver fiance have been dating for just under two years. After briefly battling breakup rumors and temporarily putting the wedding on hold in early January, the duo are back on track with Evelyn picking up the weight of the planning duties.

“He could [not] care less. He’s like, ‘I’m going to make sure I’m there,’” repeated Evelyn to ESPN.

Despite the NFL star’s indifference pertaining to all things wedding related, there is one thing Ochocinco demands a say in, according to Lozada.

“What he would like to be in control of is probably the music,” the reality TV star is quoted as saying by Popular Critic. “He’s very in tune with music. I mean, if you looked at his iTunes library, you would be surprised as to what he has in there. I think that’s definitely something that’s important to him”.

Evelyn and Chad continue to defy critics who still believe they won’t make it down the aisle – but from the looks of things by summer’s end Ms. Lozada will be Mrs. Ochocinco and/or Mrs. Johnson.

In the midst of her wedding planning, Evelyn is also gearing up for the Season 4 premiere of Basketball Wives which is slated to hit TV screens on Feb. 20 on VH1.

If you bought a Chad Ochocinco jersey recently, you’re probably not going to like this news one bit. According to a report from TMZ, Ochocinco is planning on changing his last name back to his original one, marking the return of Chad Johnson and the end of the Ochocinco era.

So why is Ochocinco–or Johnson–changing his last name after going through the trouble of having it changed in the first place? Apparently, it has to do with his fiancee. TMZ reports:

Say goodbye to Chad Ochocinco … the Patriots star is telling friends, he plans to change his last name BACK to Johnson in time for his wedding this summer — because he doesn’t want his wife to have a made-up last name.

Ocho’s wedding to his “Basketball Wives” fiancee Evelyn Lozada is set for July in Florida — and sources tell TMZ, the wide receiver plans to legally change his last name back to the one he was born with before he ties the knot.

The former Cincinnati Bengal player had his full name changed to “Chad Javon Ochocinco” in August of 2008. He made the change because his number on the team was to be “85″–”ocho” is 8 and “cinco” is 5, in case your Spanish is rusty.

In case you’re ready to dismiss this as a rumor, Ochocinco confirmed TMZ’s report over on Twitter in response to a tweet. Here’s a screencap:

Chad Johnson, better known as Chad Ocho Cinco, posted photos of his new face tattoos on his twitter account today.

Chad Johnson is the wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals football team and he’s been twittering away like a madman, posting pics of his new face tattoos – but it looks like it was all done to punk his followers. After the Chad Johnson face tattoo meme spread across twitter, the online media and the internet, the footballer revealed that is was just a joke he played on the media because of the way they treat him and that the tats are fake.

Chad Johnson’s fake face tattoos were of the state of Florida on one side, two crosses on the other and the OC between his eyes.
