Whenever a celebrity drops weight, keeps it off, and lives in a bikini on Google Images, the only thing that everyone wants to know is this: what’s their secret? LeAnn Rimes graciously shared hers with a Twitter follower who said she wanted to look “as bangin” as the famous country star. Her answer? Margaritas and exercise.

Rachael McMullen, the Rimes fan in question, wrote this on her Twitter:

“Newest Goal…Look as bangin as @leannrimes for bikini season. Putting down the margaritas and hitting the gym twice as hard!!”

Rimes responded very quickly, saying:

“Keep the margaritas and just work it out.”

The country singer advised not to restrict foods before exercise, which she credits for her toned physique. Following that advice, McMullen will soon be going out and about, to and fro, in her own selection of leave-little-to-the-imagination bikinis, just like Rimes whose latest photographs show her strolling to lunch with husband Eddie Cibrian with a fully exposed backside.

The Twitter thread then exploded, and Rimes found herself giving all sorts of practical dieting tips. One fan asked:

“Does jumping rope really work?? What area does it target?? ”

To which Rimes responded:

“Everything! Legs and great cardio.”

The fan enthusiastically replied:

“Great! I’m going to try that! Its my new years resolution to get in shape again and be happy with myself! Any other advice?”

“Just do a little a day! Get your clothes and shoes on and you’ll want to workout.”

“Everyone please follow my girl @NaomiNewirth and her amazing bikinis @ACACIASWIMWEAR, Hot hot hot!”

When Kelly Preston gave birth to her third child last year aged 48, the actress and wife of John Travolta admits she didn’t expect to regain her figure. But regain it she has, and then some, dropping an impressive 39 pounds in less than twelve months. Her secret? Kirstie Alley.

Alley famously dropped 100 pounds and now looks about as good as any 60-year-old out there. The former Cheers actress has since started selling her own weight loss program, called ‘The Organic Liaison.’ And it was precisely this program that inspired Preston to shed her excess weight – Alley’s weight-loss regime relies on organic supplements, and has paid massive dividends for Preston.

Indeed, it took 49-year-old just a few months after son Benjamin Travolta was born in November 2010 to regain her pre-pregnancy weight. She revealed to People magazine:

“I lost 39 lbs., have more energy than I had 20 years ago – and I feel amazing. I’m going to be turning 50 next year – holy s***! Hey, 50 is the new 30. [...] When I got pregnant at 48, I didn’t know if my body would bounce back.”

In fact, Preston was so impressed with Alley’s program that she went out there and landed her bad self a new gig – she’s now the spokesperson for Kirstie’s program. When asked about the program, Preston (with perhaps a dash of overstatement) enthused:

“It’s pretty much the most genius thing ever.”
