Is Jennifer Aniston Pregnant? (Short Answer: Nobody Actually Knows)

Is Jennifer Aniston pregnant with boyfriend Justin Theroux’s child? She could be! She could not be! Certain tabloids seem to think she might be, though admittedly it’s all sounding rather … speculative so far. Basically, it’s pinch-of-salt time, folks.

Look magazine started the latest round of is-she-isn’t-she gossiping. The mag pointed out that Aniston, 42, has been missing from numerous red carpet events recently, including the Golden Globes from last weekend. This, argues Look, is because Aniston is actually six months pregnant! Err.

The fact Aniston was not nominated or presenting anything at the Globes may also have adequately explained her absence, but that might seem a little close to logic for some publications. Or just not entertaining enough to put in print. Take your pick.

Us Weekly is also joining in on the guesswork, though did at least have the decency to quote a ‘source’ close to Aniston. What say you, ‘source close to Aniston’?

“[Jennifer and Justin] have talked at length about getting married and starting a family. She is anxious for the next phase of her life and feels like this is the time. They both want it to happen soon.”

So Jennifer Aniston might be pregnant, or she might not. Admittedly the evidence isn’t overwhelming either way, but the gossip media does like to keep peddling this ‘Jennifer-Aniston-is-the-ultimate-unfulfilled-woman-but-oh-wouldn’t-a-baby-of-her-own-solve-it-all’ narrative.

How about you, readers, is there something fishy about Aniston’s low public profile recently? Is she preggers, or is this more a case of people drawing conclusions too quickly?

January Jones Is Pregnant With First Child

Mad Men star January Jones revealed on Thursday that she’s expecting her first child.

Jones’ rep confirmed the news to PEOPLE and said the 33-year-old actress “is happy to announce that she is expecting her first child this fall.”

A source close to the actress added to that statement revealing:

“She’s really looking forward to this new chapter in her life as a single mom.”

The father has not been named however January’s last known relationship was with Saturday Night Live actor Jason Sudeikis, a relationship that ended in January, I mean the month so no pun intended. Sudeikis just announced that he will be hosting the MTV Movie Awards.

Mariah Carey Spends $100,000 To Pimp Out Nursery

Money is no object for Mariah Carey and she proved that this week,announcing to Life & Style magazine that she spent $100,000 on her soon-to-be-born twins nursery.

So what does $100,000 buy a mom-to-be? For one item you can choose to purchase a $30,000 crib.

According to Carey:

“I wanted to create a beautiful, tranquil, cozy environment for the babies.” She also said, “Everything matches, but pieces are individualized to celebrate the twins as separate entities.”

The nursery, built in the couples Bel-Air, California home is just one home they frequent, the other being in New York, however Cannon said of their California home:

“I prefer the East Coast schooling over the West Coast,” adding “But there are other things that come into play, like work.”

The couple also built a nursery in their New York City apartment which will be showcased in Life & Style Magazine.

Jamie Lynn Report: Now She’s Not Pregnant

Hmmm. . . Enquirer or TMZ? TMZ or Enquirer? The former, TMZ, broke the counter-news today that Jamie Lynn Spears is not pregnant, and they credit “an unimpeachable source.”

With the Enquirer already having broke Jamie Lynn’s first pregnancy to the world, I’m skeptical. This source might want to buy her some time. The damage has been done, regardless, and I’ll be scanning the headlines to check for developments.

TMZ adds that “Someone tell Lynne Spears and get her down from the ledge.” Don’t worry! If she hasn’t done it already, she won’t.
