A Palm Spring court has officially charged actor Jeremy London this week with domestic battery after he allegedly beat up his baby mam in Palm Springs last month.

While the charges were inevitable what might surprise some of the actors fans is to learn that he is officially considered homeless in the eyes of the court system.

Making matters worse for Jeremy London is the fact that he had never been arrested regarding the incidence and the courts decision to try him for domestic battery brought with it an arrest warrant which describes the attack he allegedly performed on his estranged wife Melissa Cunningham.

According to the court filing the fight began directly after London put his son in his car to take him out for breakfast, Melissa objected to the request and said the boy didn’t want to go. An argument eventually erupted over the entire situation and London started fighting like a girl, pulling Melissa’s hair before hitting her on the side of the head.

The end of the legal filing states that Jeremy London is a “transient” with no home address to report.

London’s lawyer didn’t respond to the homeless claim but did state:

“The allegation for which this charge against Jeremy London is being filed is false and no such abuse occurred.”

Given his checkered past with the law, including a fake kidnappings and repeated drug use I can’t say it surprises me to learn that Jeremy London is homeless or in the least “transient.”

The Riverside County D.A. office has announced that actor Jeremy London will be officially charged with domestic violence against estranged wife Melissa Cunningham.

The plan to press charges was announced nearly one month after Jeremy London was accused of beating up his baby mama while in Palm Springs, Florida.

After the fight police were on the lookout for London who had been fighting with Melissa over custody of their son. After throwing a fit and allegedly attacking Cunningham the actor went into hiding.

Speaking to TMZ a rep for the District Attorney’s office said they would charge him with a single count of misdemeanor domestic violence.  If convicted London could face up to one year in jail, a sentence that would likely be reduced Lindsay Lohan style because of overcrowding and his lack of an abuse record.

It has been less than a month since Mariah Yeater accused Justin Bieber of impregnating her and now a former friend of the 20-year-old San Diego girl claims to have text messages that prove she has been lying while attempting to extort the pop singer.

Yeater recently dropped her paternity lawsuit against Bieber and now a male friend says he has text messages in which she talks about extorting Bieber while making money through the sale of her story to the media. The former friend also says she sent him text messages begging him to delete her first messages in order to maintain her lies.

The text messages also claim repeatedly that Mariah Yeater said her ex-boyfriend is the father of her baby. Following her request that the messages be deleted she then attempts to buy off her friends loyalty, telling him to delete the messages and “Ill kick u when we get paid.”

Apparently the male friend either didn’t want the cash or received a better offer, according to TMZ Justin Bieber’s attorney Howard Weitzman revealed:

“This information proves Mariah Yeater fabricated the story. Our independent investigation indicates Ms. Yeater never met Justin, she has consistently identified another man as the child’s father, and Ms. Yeater and her co-conspirators hatched this scheme in order to extort money from him and to sell her story to the media … There have been no settlement discussions and there never will be.”

Lindsay Lohan’s attorneys on Wednesday entered a plea of no contest to her misdemeanor grand theft charge stemming from her jewelry theft from a Venice jewelry store in January.

Lohan was not present when a judge handed her 120 days in jail, 3 years probation and 480 hours of community service, the same sentence handed down to her last month.

As is standard practice for the over crowded county Lohan will more than  like not serve time in prison, but  instead be required to serve her time at home with an electronic monitoring device wrapped around her ankle, something Lohan is familiar with.

Lohan must report to the Sheriff’s office by June 17 for booking and more than likely to be fit with the electronic bracelet, however she may report earlier since she is due to start filming her role on the upcoming movie Gotti: Three Generations in September and her “no contest” pleading is said to be in large part due to that role.

Last year the Georgia home of Waka Flocka Flame was raided in December 2010, leading to the arrests of several people, including Waka Flocka who was not home during the time of the raid.

On Tuesday a Henry Country, GA judge ruled that there was not enough evidence to charge Waka on drug charges that had been filed against him for possession of a controlled substance and possession of pot (less than one ounce).

Flocka was also charged with three other counts but all charges were dropped with the drug related offenses.

At this time Waka and his people are remaining quite about the cases dismissal.

Several months ago Star Magazine published a cover shot of Katie Holmes (top right) in which they claimed the actress was having drug addiction issues and now in their latest issue (top left) the magazine has reached out to Holmes, offering an apology for their assertion.

While we would love to give Star Magazine all the credit, it was more than likely the $50 million lawsuit Holmes filed against the publication that led to their recent change of heart.

The lawsuit has recently been dropped and the celebrity tabloid will make a donation to Katie’s favorite charity the Dizzy Feet Foundation that brings dance to under privileged kids.

In a recent issue of Star, we published headlines about Katie Holmes that could be read to suggest that she was addicted to drugs. Star did not intend to suggest that Ms. Holmes was a drug addict or was undergoing treatment for drug addiction. Star apologizes to Ms. Holmes for any misperception and will be making a substantial donation to charity on Ms. Holmes’ behalf for any harm that we may have caused.

At least a charity was able to raise some money from the company’s attempt to jump the gun on a Katie Holmes story.

In 2007 Lindsay Lohan was arrested for driving under the influence, in 2011 she broke her DUI probation when she allegedly stole a $2,500 necklace from a jeweler, yet the one-time promising Disney star doesn’t think any of her problems are her fault, instead blaming her troubles on a widespread “conspiracy.”

According to a Lohan insider, she believes the Los Angeles judicial system is out to make an example of her because of her celebrity status, claiming that District Attorney Danette Meyers is simply out on a witch hunt that happens to be targeting Lohan.

A source close to Lindsay told PopEater’s Rob Shuter:

“She is being treated differently from everyone else because she is famous,” while adding, “We were all in shock when she was forced to return to jail just to make an example out of her. It’s not right. Especially when she is working so hard to live a healthy life. She is innocent and can’t understand what is going on.”

“She didn’t steal any necklace and will be found innocent. It’s obvious this is only happening because she is famous and anyone that thinks celebrities get away with stuff or let off will think again after seeing this.”

In the meantime a 120-day jail sentence, already handed down by Judge Stephanie Sautner is being appealed by Lohan’s defense team, which could mean Lohan will not be able to appear in Gotti: Three Generations a movie role she has already lost once only to fight her way back onto the production. At this time movie producer Marc Fiore is staying tight lipped as to whether or not Lohan will be allowed to play her part in the movie.

Lohan will have a pretrial hearing on May 11 with a trial date set for June 3.

In 2009 Mischa Barton hired a private nursing company for reasons unknown and during that time she racked up nearly $90,000 in medical care, money she is now being forced to repay.

Doctor’s Choice Nursing sued the former O.C. actress when she wouldn’t pony up the $89,930.57 bill she owed to the company, asking a judge for the full amount plus interest, an amount that was granted to the sum of $95,000.

After failing to appear in front of the court DCN won a default judgment against Mischa, with her reps stating:

“This is the first we’ve heard of it.”

That’s quite a large bill to be stuck with paying simply because you couldn’t bother showing up in court to argue your half of the story.

Lindsay Lohan is angry about her recent incarceration. On Friday judge Stephanie Sautner sentenced Lohan to 120 days in prison with 480 hours of community service, stating that her recent jewelry theft was in violation of Lohan’s probation for Driving Under the Influence.

PEOPLE spoke with producer and Lohan friend Nathan Folks who said she is “fine” but “Obviously, she is upset about [being sentenced to four months in jail].”

Lohan was allowed to post bail as her legal team mounts an appeal which experts say is likely to fail, leading Folks to mention:

“She is angry because she has been working so hard on turning her life around,” while stating, “She didn’t do what they said she did. She didn’t steal that necklace.”

Lohan’s trial will begin June 3rd and according to Folks she’ll take whatever sentence is given. Folks did mention that instead of 480 hours of community service, which includes more than 100 that will be spent working in the L.A. County Morgue she would like to attend A.A. or N.A. meetings for those hours.

Kara DioGuardi, formerly of American Idol fame is being sued for a 2010 car accident that left one man with what he calls a horrible neck injury. The strange part? DioGuardi wasn’t even driving the vehicle when it was involved in the accident.

Joel Postorino is going after DioGuardi because she’s listed as a co-owner on the 2005 BMW that smashed into Postorino’s Porche.

Christina Kline was driving the car involved in the accident, a vehicle that DioGuardi co-signed on several years ago to “help her employee out” according to DioGuardi’s reps.

When Kline left the company in November 2009, Kara’s people claim she was asked to remove DioGuardi’s name from the registration but never did.

Postorino is asking for nearly $250,000 in damages in the case which will go in front of a judge this July.

If all goes as planned for Lindsay Lohan today her lawyer, Stephanie Sautner, will have her felony charges reduced to misdemeanors.

Under California Penal Code, Section 17(b), a judge at the end of a preliminary hearing can choose to have “relatively minor” charged reduced to misdemeanors. Since Lohan’s DUI arrest didn’t harm anyone and stealing a $2500 necklace is hardly a ‘hardened’ crime, there’s a good chance charges will be reduced.

In fact Lohan’s lawyer routinely uses the 17(b) penal code to her clients benefit and is likely to do so when Lohan appears in court on Friday.

If the crimes are reduced to a misdemeanor jail time will not be an option in the case against Lohan and she will more than likely end up with probation and a few fines.

In 2007 call girl Irma Nici told In Touch Weekly that David Beckham had sex with her, a claim that Beckham denies. Realizing that the tabloid had run with the story Beckham quickly filed a lawsuit against In Touch. Fast forward 4 years later and the international soccer star is now being ordered to pay more than $200,000 to the tabloid.

While David still claims the story is a sham, US District Judge Manuel Real in February threw out his case, stating that Beckham’s legal team was not able to provide any proof of malice on behalf of In Touch.

The $200,000 payment is being used to cover In Touch’s legal fees for defending themselves.

While money is exchanging hands in the wrong direction, at least according to Beckham, he isn’t giving up the fight, having already filed papers in the United States District Court, Central District Of California.

According to a Beckham rep:

“David is appealing… and is confident justice will prevail.”

UFC Fighter Chuck Liddell appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom this week to ask a judge for full custody of his son. Chuck claims his son told him he didn’t want to live with his mother anymore.

According to reports, Cade Liddell was visiting his dad from Colorado when he appeared depressed and upset that he had to live with his mom, Lori Geyer. Chuck says Cade complained that he had been “living with a severe toothache for 2 to 3 months” and that he didn’t want to go back.

After hearing of his sons pain Chuck immediately took him to the dentist and now claims that his “health and safety are at risk.”

Chuck’s lawyer is also claiming that the boy was subjected to forced labor, specifically snow removal, a claim that probably won’t hold much water in court, after all if that was the case many of us as kids were probably “forced” to do that type of “work.”

A judge in the case has ruled that Colorado courts have jurisdiction in the custody battle and a hearing will occur on Tuesday.

Quaid kids Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace received 1,000 times the recommended dose of the blood thinner last year, which put them in critical condition. The mistake left the fraternal twins vulnerable to uncontrolled bleeding in what was later called a “preventable error” by Cedars-Sinai.

Curiously, the Quaids did not sue Cedars-Sinai directly, instead focusing on manufacturers Baxter Healthcare Corp. The case, which claimed that Heparin packaging was misleading, was dismissed. However, if the hospital is sued by the childrens’ representatives, there could be another big settlement in the works. It looks like things aren’t over yet!

Even though Salma Hayek’s got some serious cash, she could be set back if a current lawsuit ends up not so much in her favor: TMZ reports that a co-manager has filed against her and her brother Sami Hayek after an investment went awry.

The lawsuit was filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, and claims that Sami “has been guilty of … fraud, mismanagement, and/or abuse of authority.” Sami’s attorney countered with the claim that “It was an investment deal that was no good for anyone, and we’ll fight the lawsuit vigorously.”

This sucks for Salma, who owned less than 1% of the company in question.
