Yannique Barker, or Stack$ and Brooke Hogan Fling Getting Serious

Looks like Yannique Barker, or Stack$, may have rapped his way into the heart of bad girl Brooke Hogan and the pair may be getting Serious.

Stack$ is the nickname given to Yannique Barker by fellow rapper Brisco. Yannique and Brook Hogan were seen out for a stroll on a Florida beach recently where the pair are filming the video for Brooke’s new single. The pair were frolicking around together like lovebirds.

Barker, 24, is no stranger to Brooke either. He’s been featured on My Number off Brooke’s debut album, Undiscovered so the pair have been around each other for a while.

But don’t let the Stack$ tattooed up bad boy rapper image fool you. His father is the founder of a hugely successful aerospace company and Yannique himself attended Landon in Bethesda, MD, a prestigious all-boys prep school.

Other than the obvious size difference between the two, Yannique Barker and Brooke Hogan could be right for each other, as long as he’s the one wearing the high heels.

I’m wondering how someone who can go n-u-t-s can also pass judgment so easily on other people, but then again, that’s the nature of the beast, isn’t it? Brooke recently took to her imaginary MySpace soapbox to call out Paris Hilton on her not-so-informed decisions:

“Only 54 percent of eligible American voters cast their ballots!!!!!! Half of them are only voting cause it’s ‘cool’ to vote for so and so…they aren’t even up to date on information. I’m personally not up to date on the facts, so I don’t wanna make a stupid choice for our country. I WANT to vote but only when I know exactly whats going on. More ppl should think like that. Paris Hilton said ‘yaaaaay go vote cause it’s cool and hott!!!!’ ….SHE WASN’T EVEN REGISTERED.”

I can imagine that Brooke has enough enemies as it is. It’s not like she’s even admitting to being a registered, aware voter herself, so perhaps she could’ve waited until that time to start firing off at other people?

Oddly enough, Brooke tells us in the next paragraph that she believes strongly in “Never gossip[ing], never feel[ing] negatively toward ANYONE.” Big, fat WTF?!: she’s the plague of my D-List.

Plus, she made me defend Paris Hilton.

Brooke Hogan has created the crowning achievement of a super-terrible MySpace blog post, this time complete with photos and everything. I don’t think that posing in fake mugshots is particularly classy, but I think that Nick is already teeming with embarassment:

Brooke Takes It Back

After making accusations that her father, Terry Bollea, had abused her mother Linda both physically and verbally, Brooke Hogan is taking it all back.

She might have originally sided with her mom after the split, but now Brooke has admitted that she had regretted making allegations that “vilified” Terry. Affidavit or not, she’s claiming that it was a “big mistake,” adding:

“Using kids as pawns in a divorce is awful. Every day my mother resorts to this kind of behavior makes it that much harder for us to ever have a relationship again.”

I had thought their mother-daughter relationship was feeling the strain after the first load of dirty laundry got aired in public. . .

Was Brooke Backpeddling?

Brooke Hogan tried to defend the odd lotion-rubbing photos taken of her and her dad taken this April, and as you can probably imagine, things still didn’t go over well after her explanation. (Sh*t was creepy.) Brooke said to US Weekly that “I know I’m a grown woman, but it’s like he’s touching an old car,” and added that “He used to change my diaper!”

It still sounds Papa-Joe-Simpson-esque to us, considering that Daddy Hogan made it clear that he is very protective of his daughter.

After seeing the photos for yourself, did Brooke’s explanation ameliorate the situation at all? I think it would have been better if she had studied up to get the best excuse out there.

Brooke Hogan Gets in Car Accident, Makes a Mess of Things

Brooke Hogan’s pr rep probably had to move swiftly to yank her statement off the internet that referenced her car accident on Sunday, because, um… it’s just plain embarrassing? Another way to describe it would be totally insensitive. It turns out that the accident wasn’t her fault, but Brooke felt the need to publicly thank her jailed brother and his passenger (who suffered brain damage) because she claims that what happened to them saved her life:

What happened to my brother and our friend John was horrible and very hard for both of our families. But I truly believe my brother and John saved My life and my best friends life…. I don’t know if you heard, but my friend and I got into a really bad car accident today ourselves… As I turned on my car I clicked my seatbelt. As we pulled out onto the road, I looked over and realized my friend didn’t have her seatbelt on. I reminded her to put it on and the minute she clicked it, a car crashed into us. It was a horrible car accident, one that most would be severely hurt in, but we had our seatbelts on and they kept us in tight. I have to thank my brother and my best friend John for teaching me an important lesson that saved our lives. [...]

Wow, that makes me feel really uncomfortable. There’s more, too. This isn’t the first time that Brooke has released a crazy rant on her MySpace and pulled it soon after. Good learning curve, hmmm?
