Britney Vows Never To Return To Australia. In Other News, Millions of Aussies Now Believe In God

After rightfully being called out by irate fans who weren’t happy at paying hundreds of dollars to see Britney Spears lip sync, Britney has vowed never to return to Australia.

The Britney Australia drama (is drama the right word, given her entire life is a drama) started a couple of weeks back when the occasionally mental mother of two appeared at the Burswood Dome in Perth in “the round,” a format where fans are seated around a central stage vs being in front of the stage looking down on a central point.

Fans noted that Britney rarely turned around during her performance, and to make matters worse the big screens at the event never showed images of her on the stage. I’ve been to the Burswood Dome numerous times, and it’s a reasonably large venue (say approx 20,000 people in that setup.) It would be difficult to see Britney from the cheap seats at the best of times, let alone if she had her back to her for most of the “concert.”

Britney’s tour though hasn’t improved from there, with numerous reports in the Australian media of fans leaving her events early, and of tickets flooding eBay at way below the ticketed price as news spread that she just wasn’t worth seeing. According to some reports, Britney has also been booed and jeered while leaving her hotels…showing that Australians are never shy in expressing correct and fair opinions.

The Chicago Sun Times now claims that Britney Spears has told her team, and anyone else who will listen — she will never again perform for an Aussie audience. According to an insider, she “is very happy to be getting out of that country.”

Let me say as an Australian in my finest imitation of a Britney southern accent “don’t ya ever come back now, ya’ here.” Trailer trash should stay in trailers, and not be allowed past customs at the airport

Britney Spears suffers third Twitter hacking this morning

Sheepish Britney handlers posted a quick FYI for fans who might have been offended by a series of puzzling tweets posted on the singer’s Twitter account over the past day while Britney’s been on tour in Australia.

The offending tweets may have been scary to her fan base, regarding Satanism and the New World Order:

i hope that the new world order will arrive as soon as possible- Britney

I give myself to Lucifer every day for it to arrive as quickly as possible. Glory to Satan!

Whoever is responsible for Brit’s tweets quickly posted a retraction:

Britney’s twitter account was just hacked. The situation has been resolved and we apologize for any offense the hacker’s messages caused.

This is the third time poor Brit has been the target of Twitter terrorists, with a death hoax previously promoted on her Twitter account. And though normalcy has been returned to Britney’s account, #DontHackBritney remains a trending topic on Twitter. No comment from Chris Crocker on the incident.

Britney Spears Releases “Singles Collection”

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – Britney Spears arrived belly-baring and baby-faced singing “…Baby One More Time” over ten years ago. Yes, we’re that old. Now, the international pop star celebrates her decade of pop hits with an all-new package, “The Singles Collection,” which arrives in stores this week.

“The Singles Collection” is her second hits compilation, following 2004’s “Greatest Hits: My Prerogative,” which included all her hits up to “Toxic.” “The Singles Collection” includes all that plus her “Blackout” and “Circus” hits like “Gimme More,” “Piece of Me,” “Womanizer,” and “Circus.”

“The Singles Collection” also includes her latest single, “3,” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Spears’ ode to ménage à trois is currently heating up the charts all over the world. It’s also the only new entry on this collection.

But the “Circus” star’s record company is sure to hope the new disc is stuffed in the stockings of Spears fans everywhere. But what won’t fit in any stockings is the upcoming box set, for the real fans. Set to release by the end of the month, the “Singles Collection” box set includes individual singles of all of Britney’s releases, including b-sides, remixes, a special booklet, and a DVD with all of her videos. Now there’s a piece of Britney you can take home.

John Mayer Defends Britney Spears Lip-Synch

John Mayer has defended Britney Spears for lip synching in Australia.

The ‘Gravity’ singer, who is also in Australia promoting his latest album, blasted fans who had called for a refund after the ‘Womanizer’ star’s show in Perth after she sparked outrage by not singing live for her whole performance.

John wrote on his twitter blog, “If you’re shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you.”

Britney, 27, was said to have hid in her hotel room on Saturday, November 7, following her performance on Friday night November 6.

A representative for the star said, “Britney is aware of all this and she’s extremely upset by it.”

In response to the show fans protested about the high ticket prices and “impersonal” nature of the show.

Concertgoer Wendy Di Renzo, 36, said, “It was so impersonal. She did not interact with her audience. There were no big TV screens projecting the action, so if you didn’t know Britney, you might have even doubted it was her.”

Complaints against the ‘Gimme More’ singer also included that she never referred to Perth by name, instead giving a generic welcome to fans, saying, “What’s up Australia?”

Another fan, who left the show early, said, “I want my money back or I want her to sing properly. The ticket cost me $200 and she lip-synched the whole thing.”

Politicians in three Australian states – Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales – have now called for new laws to force music promoters to disclose whether a concert will be live or lip-synched beforehand.

Britney will next perform in Melbourne on November 11.

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick Rekindle Romance

Britney Spears has rekindled her romance with Jason Trawick.

The ‘Womanizer’ singer and agent Jason, who split in August after five months together, were spotted kissing and cuddling at a California mall earlier this month.

A source told National Enquirer magazine, “They’ve been spending a lot of time together. Britney missed Jason so much when they were apart. They barely spoke. Now he’s planning to join her on her Australian tour next month.”

Britney’s father Jamie, who was made co-conservator of her personal and professional affairs following her breakdown last year, was instrumental in reuniting the love birds.

He found it hard seeing his 27-year-old daughter so heartbroken, and so asked Jason to consider giving the romance another try.

Another source added, “Jamie was really worried about Britney. She had all this free time on her hands during her tour break, and she was lonely. When Jason heard this, he came running. He really cares about Britney and doesn’t want to see her hurt.”

However, Jason still doesn’t feel ready to settle down and has told Britney he wants to date other people.

A source said, “He let her know he doesn’t want to be super-serious. Yes they’re dating, but it’s not exclusive. Britney’s not happy about that, but she’ll take what she can get.”

Britney Spears Buys Parakeets

Britney Spears has bought two parakeets.

The ‘Womanizer’ singer who finished the North American leg of her tour last weekend, bought the yellow birds during a shopping trip in California this week.

A source said, “Britney had just picked up some dog food when she spotted the parakeets and decided to buy a pair. She settled on yellow parakeets and bought a big, white cage and several toys for the birds.”

Britney purchased the winged creatures at the California Pet Center in Calabasas, and impressed staff by questioning how to care for them properly.

Workers didn’t initially realize it was the 27-year-old singer – who has sons Sean Preston, four, and three-year-old Jayden James with ex-husband Kevin Federline – who was inquiring about the pets.

Store worker Brieanna Kirby told gossip website X17online, “She came in just to buy the birds. She walked in, picked out a cage and set it down on my desk and then took off her glasses and I realized who she was. She was really, really, really nice, asking lots of questions about the upkeep of the birds and how much time and effort it takes to take care of them.

“She talked about the bird needing to be compatible with her family and she wanted a bird that would be easy to handle for her boys – one that wouldn’t bite a finger off. And she liked all the colors.”

Britney Spears New Song is about Threesome

Britney Spears new song is about having a threesome.

The ‘Womanizer’ singer who is known for wearing revealing, skin-flashing outfits on stage has penned a track called ‘3’ which suggests she likes being intimate with two lovers at the same time.

On the track, Britney sings, “Three is a charm / Two is not the same / I don’t see the harm / So are you game?”

The chorus continues, “One, two, three / Not only you and me / Got one eighty degrees / And I’m caught in between.

“Countin’ one, two, three / Peter, Paul and Mary / Getting’ down with 3P / Everybody loves ***.”

The racy song is due to appear on Britney’s upcoming LP ‘The Singles Collection’.

This is not the first time Britney’s career has taken a provocative twist.

The 27-year-old star – who as a teenager said she wouldn’t have sex before marriage – is currently on the road with her steamiest world tour to date.

‘The Circus Starring Britney Spears’ which received rave reviews, features skimpy costumes, seductive dance moves, whips, latex and blindfolds.

Britney Spears Splurgers $3,000 on Candy

Britney Spears spent $3,000 on candy in one afternoon.

The ‘Womanizer’ singer splashed out the staggering sum at the Sugar Factory, which is located inside Las Vegas’ Mirage hotel, which she visited with sons, Sean Preston, four, and three-year-old Jayden James, and boyfriend Jason Trawick on Sunday, September 27.

A source said, “She spent about $3,000 and walked out of the store with 10 bags. She got a bunch of candy and shirts for her kids and got a bunch of the couture lollipops to give to her back-up dancers.”

Among the items Britney, who was in Las Vegas for the final US show of her ‘Circus’ world tour, bought were a box of Sugar Factory milk chocolate and 25 $25 lollipops.

After paying for the items the store sent another $2,500-worth of candy to Britney’s room at the Mirage.

Britney pulled out all the stops for her final American show.

Barry Manilow and pop star Lance Bass were in the audience, and Britney spiced up the routine to ‘Breathe On Me’ by singling out Lance for a sizzling lap dance.

She also performed at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino on Saturday, September 26, as former Spice Girls star Mel B and ‘Hannah Montana’ actress Miley Cyrus looked on.

Lindsay Lohan has always wanted to be Britney Spears

Lindsay Lohan knew from a young age that she wanted to emulate the pop star’s worldwide success and be the talk of gossip columns and magazines.

She said: “Everyone goes through tough times and the second that I decided I wanted to be in front of the camera… I think I always kind of aspired to be like Britney Spears. I wanted to be in the tabloids when I was in middle school.

“It’s kind of something you sign up for in the beginning and if you really want it, you know what comes with it.”

Lindsay – who has had three stints in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction and been charged with driving under the influence (DUI) – insists she is proud of what she has achieved and has grown in confidence with age.

The blonde star – who is dating DJ Samantha Ronson – added to Access Hollywood: “There are things I would like to take back and I always say that, but there aren’t many things that I regret doing, because I wouldn’t have learned from them, and I wouldn’t be where I am today.

“I think it’s taken me a long time to learn how to love myself before I could love someone else too. Whether it be a best friend or family or someone that I’m in a relationship with.”

Britney Spears stalker found guilty of “misdemeanour peeking”

Miranda Tozier-Robbins was cleared of trespassing yesterday (August 20) after she was arrested in April dressed in military fatigues looking into a ground floor window of the singer’s $10 million home, in Calabasas, California.

However, she was convicted of the lesser charge.

Miranda insisted she has “no obsession with Britney” and was only at her property to practice documentary filmmaking in a paparazzi style. She was caught with filming equipment in her backpack, and police were called after she refused to leave.

Before the court case, when asked for a statement Miranda said: “Everything happens for a reason. There’s your statement.”

She also stated she did not regret what she had done.

Former ‘American Idol’ contestant Miranda – who, under the terms of a previous restraining order, has to stay at least 100 yards away from Britney, her children and her residence – was handed three years’ probation and 240 hours of community service for her crime.

Britney Spears on Letterman

Britney Spears made her first appearance on Letterman since 2006 Tuesday night (August 18) as part of the promotional tour for her Circus concert series.

Brtiney, dressed to impress on Letterman in a skimpy two piece black bikini, read off “Top 10 Ways the Country Would Be Different if Britney Spears Were President.” Highlights included “I’d be the first president to wear eye shadow since Nixon,” and “Three words: Vice President Diddy.”

The kicker was in the final item though, when Britney noted that “Finally the media would pay attention to me.”

Britney last appeared on Letterman after the birth of her second child with then husband Kevin Federline. The Britney Spears on Letterman video as follows:

Kevin Federline’s new size: he’s packed on the pounds

Britney Spears’ ex Kevin Federline was never popular, but now his new size is getting him even more attention.

Kevin Federline appeared at Ryan Sheckler X Games Celebrity Classic carrying a new size that was…well…large. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but that hasn’t stopped tongues wagging.

Federline’s ex Shar Jackson defended him, saying that “It’s daddy weight! When you are a full time parent, sometimes you can’t focus on you. If gaining a few pounds is your only problem, life’s not too bad!”

Let me say as someone who has been up and down in weight, I don’t think Kevin Federline’s new size is all that bad. Yes, he’s clearly packed on the pounds, but likewise he’s also the full time carer for Britney’s children. If he can’t work out and take care of himself, that’s not worthy of condemnation, but an observation that he is spending most of his time looking after his kids, and there’s nothing wrong with that at all.

Britney Spears’ conservatorship could be set to end

Britney Spears’ father Jamie Spears – who was made co-conservator of her personal and professional affairs following her public breakdown last year – wants a judge to review the conditions of the agreement when Britney’s ‘Circus’ world tour concludes in November.

Gossip website TMZ reports: “Jamie can’t ask the judge to end it – just to review it. The judge then decides if Britney should regain control of her life.”

Jamie thinks Britney – who currently has shared custody of her two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Sean Preston, three, and two-year-old Jayden James – is now strong enough to look after herself.

Meanwhile, Kevin – who starred in 2005 reality TV show ‘Britney and Kevin: Chaotic’, which followed the couple’s relationship – is keen to star in a new programme with his girlfriend Victoria Prince and his sons.

A source said: “Victoria will be a big part of the series. They are not engaged, but she lives with him full-time in his place in Encino.

“Victoria and Britney first met before Britney’s tour at Kevin’s home. They had a meeting face-to-face, when Victoria was home alone with the kids. It was awkward, but Britney was nice.”

Britney Spears has piled on weight following a break in her world tour and is now under pressure to lose it.

A source said: “She was in tears saying they’re calling her fat again. She showed up to a meeting with a latte in her hand and everyone jumped on her. Britney’s supposed to be eating a diet of fish, chicken and vegetables. When she swaps the healthy stuff for junk, her dad gets worried.”

Britney’s father, Jamie Spears – who became co-conservator of his daughter’s personal and professional life following her breakdown last year – put the ‘Toxic’ hitmaker on a strict exercise and diet regime as he knows how important it is for her to look good. However, Britney – who has two sons, Sean, three, and two-year-old Jayden – is struggling to stick to the health plan and regularly indulges in calorific treats.

The source added to Britain’s Star magazine: “She does not think about the calories in the food, just that she likes it. She loves greasy food and creamy sweets and hates fruit and vegetables. She still eats a lot of fast food – mainly late at night.”

“It started as a kid when she hid her habits from her parents. She loves cookies and keeps candy in her travel bags. She hides it or people will be on her case. Her trainers tell her they know she’s cheating, but she tells them, ‘Mind your own business.’ ”

Britney Spears is converting to Judaism

Britney Spears is converting to Judaism. The ‘Womanizer’ singer is reportedly so keen to marry her agent Jason Trawick she is willing to ditch her Christian faith and become a Jew.

The 27-year-old star has been photographed wearing a Star of David necklace during her world tour and has even recruited a rabbi to help her study the faith.

An insider said: “Britney wants to try the religion Jason was brought up with.” It’s not the first time Britney has changed faith. She dabbled in Kabbalah – which is a mystical off-shoot of Judaism – in 2005 after Madonna suggested it.

Meanwhile, Britney’s ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib has been ordered to stand trial for felony assault with a deadly weapon, battery and hit-and-run after he allegedly tried to run over a court official in February. The Los Angeles man had been trying to serve the paparazzo with legal papers when he was hit by Adnan’s vehicle. Adnan will be arraigned on July 23. If he is convicted, he faces up to seven years in prison.

Britney Spears is winding up her ‘Circus’ concert series in London and had some time yesterday to get out and about and do a little shopping, braless.

In the photo above, Britney Spears is seen leaving a Knightsbridge (London) restaurant to begin walking across the street to do some shopping at the Gap.

Now, it’s been a while since I hung out in the ladies lingerie section of a clothing store, but I do know that the Gap has a good selection of bras, and Brit could certainly use one, judging by those raging nip-ons.

Confirmed: Britney Spears is Engaged to her agent, Jason Tranwick

An “Insider” in the Britney Spears camp has broken the news that Brit has been engaged to be married to her agent, Jason Tranwick for some time now. This fits in well with numerous reports and photos of the pair across the gossip blogs, all indicating that the two were a couple, based on their spending so much intimate time together.

We don’t know a whole lot about Tranwick yet, except that he’s Britney’s manager and also manages other artists, but that will be changing now that he’s romantically connected to one of the most talked about stars in the world.

We will say this: He seems to be quite the catch for Spears – at least he has a job.

An “Insider” told Star Magazine:

“He didn’t exactly get down on one knee, but Brit didn’t care. She said yes, and they opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Jason held Britney for a long time and kissed her cheeks. They talked about their future for hours and didn’t go to sleep until after 3 a.m.! They just wanted to be alone together.”

Britney Spears may have finally found a man who doesn’t mind the odd bit of craziness: her agent Jason Trawick.

Rumors about the pair have been circulating for months, but more recently they’ve been spotted together more frequently.

“In my eyes, Britney and Jason are definitely together,” a member of the paparazzi recently claimed. “I’ve never seen any other celebrity spend as much time with their agent as Brit does – vacation in Costa Rica, dinner, the Bahamas, running out to get Starbucks on a Saturday afternoon – I mean, it’s not just business as usual.”

Jason Trawick works as a talent agent for William Morris, where he represents the Duff sisters as well as Britney. Trawick is credited by insiders as being a key figure behind Britney’s comeback.

Britney Spears suffers a security malfunction

Just because our day wouldn’t be complete without another Britney Spears malfunction, we have a new one for you: security malfunction.

Concertgoer Kyle King jumped on stage will Britney was miming her single Womanizer in Connecticut Saturday night. King managed to place himself in front of Britney, until a number of dancers, and venue security (who had just been woken by the commotion) grabbed him and dragged him off stage.

King was arrested for breaching the peace and was released Sunday morning on a $250 bond. Naturally the whole thing was caught on video; as we’ve come to know, Britney fans rarely watch the show, and instead seem to prefer recording her concerts on their mobile phones.

There’s one thing we all know about Britney Spears: she lip syncs on stage during concerts. This isn’t to suggest something that is false or defamatory: music critics and fans alike who have seen her shows all confirm Britney lip syncs. This isn’t to say that it’s necessarily a bad thing: for starters, it would be fairly hard to hold a tune with all that running around on stage.

But what if Britney did sing live? There’s only one way to find out.
