Britney’s website is back up and running! We’ve been promised “videos, stories, music, photos and lots of other cool stuff,” but I’m satisfied with this rockin’ bunch of freaky fan art from CircusVip.com. I love fans! They make Britney look much hotter than she does real life, and she could probably use a couple of the more obsessive ones on her PR team, to be honest.

Of course the Brit Machine wouldn’t dream of it, especially since there aren’t individual credits for the fans who slaved away to make Britney look better. Fans should start watermarking their stuff to avoid a full-on official “Circus” cover rip-off! After all, the album isn’t out until December 2nd of this year, and “the [...] cover has not been released.” Uh-oh.

So not cool.

Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” video hit 20/20 on Friday, which was mostly interesting because (to me) it was a bit of a let-down. Where’s all the sexy? Even naked writhing failed to resurrect the Old Britney. I prefer “Womanizer” in audio form, sans hair flicking, and I’m not embarrassed to admit it.

Allow me to clarify: I set the bar really high. The video had great production, costumes weren’t horrible, and things were generally polished and packaged up nicely. But when you hear “Womanizer” rhyming with um, “Womanizer” too many times in a row, it starts to get to you. The song’s just not awesome, and the video amplifies its gradual slide.

In other words: teen guys, eat your hearts out; real Britney fans, brace yourselves. Watch the video at BritneySpears.com to get all the wig-wearing and man-loving.

Britney’s “Womanizer” video preview is out, and we can see the whole thing on a 20/20 premiere this Friday. At first I was really happy for Brit, because she’s starting to look like she did way back before babies, but then I just felt bad that her “erotic” moves were going to be plastered all over 20/20 for the first showing. That doesn’t seem sexy enough for someone who’s going to be “making out with a city worker” while wearing black leather pants.

“Womanizer” sounds a teeny bit better to me than the first time I heard it. Anyone else agree?
