Britney’s Appearance at Madonna Concert Is a Flop

Total boo on Britney’s concert appearance with Madonna: we had built up some reasonable expectations (or maybe not), and then she had to make an appearance wearing shiny black palazzo pants and not even show a well-toned leg. Another stylist needs to be fired in Hollywood, as does the person who thought Brit should just bounce around and lip synch awkwardly.

If screeching fans are any indication, this was way better in person. Still, who would’ve thought that Britney could have slumped to this level, performance-wise, and stay there during her “comeback”?

It kind of hurts to watch.

Britney Wants To Be Watched

Britney’s been updating her site with some super-riveting stuff, y’all! Don’t you want to work out with Britney? Granted, she does look hot in the new video featured on her site, but she doesn’t do anything cool like creative syncopated moves with her trainer or something with punches and kicks.

Britney fans are eating it up, of course. My favorite message was posted on her video post, saying “Dear Britney and the crew! I have a great idea: WHY NOT CREATE A VIDEO WITH BRITNEY EXERCISES? I THINK IT WOULD SELL LIKE CRAZY! AND I WOULD ALSO BUY IT! .”

You have to be the obsessive-level Britney fan to think that this is cool.

Britney Spears Looks Hotter, Thanks to Her Fans. Can She Credit Them Better?

Britney’s website is back up and running! We’ve been promised “videos, stories, music, photos and lots of other cool stuff,” but I’m satisfied with this rockin’ bunch of freaky fan art from CircusVip.com. I love fans! They make Britney look much hotter than she does real life, and she could probably use a couple of the more obsessive ones on her PR team, to be honest.

Of course the Brit Machine wouldn’t dream of it, especially since there aren’t individual credits for the fans who slaved away to make Britney look better. Fans should start watermarking their stuff to avoid a full-on official “Circus” cover rip-off! After all, the album isn’t out until December 2nd of this year, and “the [...] cover has not been released.” Uh-oh.

So not cool.

Britney’s Got a Lot on Her Plate

Today’s a big day in Britney Spears’ world, y’all! Britney will launch her new website today, BritneySpears.com, and we can’t forget about the 20/20 “Womanizer” video premiere tonight. I’m a teensy bit excited to see it, mostly because everyone keeps saying how sexy it is.

Brit has another upcoming project in the works as well: a new documentary about her life. She’s currently filming the 90-minute doc entitled “For The Record,” and she recently opened up about her reasons for making it:

“So much has gone on over the last couple of years and there’s a lot that people don’t know about me that I want them to know [...] I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn’t being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I’ve been through and where I’m headed.”

This is actually going to be interesting, but I hope it’s not sugar-coated. Let’s face it, most of us have a good idea about what has been going on with Britney. She’s going to have to be brutally honest.

We’ll see if she can handle it come November 30th on MTV!

Britney Gets “Erotic,” Releases Finished Womanizer Single

After a leaked unfinished version of “Womanizer” hit last week, Britney’s new single has been cleaned up and released. Is it going to be a hit? I can’t wait to see how it fares because (to me, Brit fans, sorry) it sounds generic. And not exactly like her, because her voice has been taken over by the magical digital reworking machine.

For the guys who could care less what it sounds like, supposedly there is “erotic” choreography in the upcoming video to keep you distracted. According to Usmagazine.com, Britney wears tight leather pants and straddles a man in a business suit:

“The scene continues with Spears sucking on cherries or dangling them around her mouth, all while straddling and crawling all over the man, the witness says.”

Well, there’s something for everyone, at least. It’ll be playing in a Club Near You.

Britney Wears Another Wig. Everyone Panic!

Okay, reserve the real panic for this stuff. But Britney’s still scary. She’s selling her house, but she’s not 100% awesome yet: she’s back to wearing wigs. I’m having flashbacks of the Adnan Days and pink-wig wearing sex tapes– can’t Jamie Spears intervene as a conservator and ban Britney from wearing faux hair?

According to PopSugar, it was just part of her costume for her new vid “Womanizer,” but most people get nervous when she starts. . . dressing up. Simon Cowell obviously doesn’t, because he was just gushing about her performing on X Factor:

“I’ve always said this about Britney — that she’s a hugely talented person. Everyone wants to work with her because she’s a star. She’s the number one booking in the world at the moment for a show… The fact that she goes a bit crazy occasionally makes her more interesting. And now she has her career back on track — fantastic. I’m thrilled. . . If she wants to shave her head before she comes on the show, she’s welcome to. I don’t care.”

I hope that Britney doesn’t even see that last bit.

Something’s Still Missing, Britney

Britney Spears has got her bikini body back, but there’s something amiss about the rest of the package. While she was showing off by the pool in Las Vegas, her sell-out pap ex-boyfriend Adnan was spotted hanging around (not a good sign) and her hair was still a state. That’s with a hairdresser at her side the whole weekend! Surely he could have taken a few moments to help the girl out?

I’m not sure if Britney going to the gym is anything to celebrate. Perhaps once the conservatorship is over and she’s left on her own, we’ll see how things go, as her dad said. Or we can at least wait until the VMAs and see if she makes a mess of it.
